Celà fait 1 an que j'ai subi une intervention chirurgicale de la sleeve gastrique à l'hôpital Mémorial Ataşehir İstanbul.
J'écris ce témoignage pour remercier toute l'équipe et en particulier mon cher docteur Wahit Mutlu, dans oublier les diététiciennes Selen Şenman et İrem, je me suis sentie en toute sécurité notamment grâce aux soins, la gentillesse et le professionnalisme de toute l'équipe que ce soit les traducteurs Denis et Bachir, les infirmières et même les femmes de ménage ils étaient très attentionnés .
Merci pour cette belle aventure que j'ai passé avec vous.

From when I landed the care a, attention and service was excellent. No question was considered irrelevant. Dr Vahit Mutlu was very professional but yet reassuring. The team of nurses were very compassionate and competent. My time in the hospital was remarkable.

The staff was great. While the hospital has a translator, I recommend having translation on your phone or a device, because then you can talk to more staff members. People were so nice and welcoming. The procedure went well, and I'm looking forward to the year to come and working with the dietitian. If I had it to over again, I'd come a week early to travel beforehand.

I had heard about this clinic’s excellent reputation long before I decided to come here, so choosing it was an easy decision. My expectations were completely met. From the very first day, I was welcomed by Dr. Vahit Mutlu and his highly professional, caring, and friendly team, who immediately made me feel comfortable and confident that I was in good hands.

What impressed me the most was the level of care throughout the entire process. From the interpreter’s assistance to the consultations, the surgery itself, and every follow-up afterward, I never felt overlooked or unsupported for even a single moment. The team was always available to answer my questions, explain every step, and make sure I felt comfortable and well-informed.

Even though I have been back in Canada for quite some time after my surgery, they continue to check on my recovery, monitor my progress, and stay in touch whenever needed. This level of ongoing care and dedication is truly exceptional and gave me even greater confidence that I made the right choice.

I am sincerely grateful to Dr. Vahit Mutlu and his entire team for their professionalism, kindness, and genuine care. I went Bach to memorial hospital for the check ups and final controls. From the moment I walk in at the memorial meeting point at the airport it was like coming home. Transportation, visiting the specialist who helped me earlier, the translator, all the people involved was a pleasure. Everyone was kind and helpful again. Everything and everyone was familiar and normal. I said it earlier and I say it again. I have not 1 moment of regret. I would do it again tomorrow if it should be necessary. For me, it’s not only the modern equipment, the modern facilities, but the way they take care of you. At Memorial you are important, they tread you like family. A big thank you for everyone that helped me.

5 Sterne für einen Arzt des vertrauens

Ich habe mich im Memorial Krankenhaus in der Türkei für eine Schlauchmagen-Operation entschieden und bin rundum begeistert. Von Anfang bis Ende war alles perfekt organisiert.
Schon die Abholung vom Flughafen verlief reibungslos und professionell. Im Krankenhaus wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen und haben uns sofort gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Alle Untersuchungen wurden gründlich durchgeführt und der gesamte Ablauf war hervorragend organisiert.
Ein besonderes Lob geht auch an die Dolmetscherin, die uns jederzeit unterstützt hat. Sie war unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und hat dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns immer verstanden und sicher gefühlt haben.
Auch das gesamte medizinische Team sowie das Pflegepersonal waren sehr kompetent, fürsorglich und aufmerksam. Ich habe mich während meines gesamten Aufenthalts bestens betreut gefühlt.
Ich kann das Memorial Krankenhaus von Herzen weiterempfehlen. Wer über eine Schlauchmagen-Operation nachdenkt, ist dort in den besten Händen. Ich würde mich jederzeit wieder für dieses Krankenhaus entscheiden. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team für die hervorragende Betreuung!

Ich fühlte mich bei Vahit Mutlu bestens aufgehoben. Vor der OP wurde ich kompetent und ausführlich beraten. Der Eingriff war komplikationslos. Die Betreuung im Krankenhaus war Spitzenklasse. Die ganze Organisation drumherum mit Hotel und Fahrdienst klappte reibungslos. Kann ich wirklich besten Gewissens empfehlen !!

It has been the most incredible experience under most tough circumstances, and something I will never forget.

While being on a 6-day holiday with my mother in Istanbul, she suddenly felt very sick, and we were sent to the hospital.
It ended up with an urgent VERY complex and complicated surgery which combined 5 surgeries in one!!! performed by Dr Vahit (my mother is 80 years old) and staying in the hospital for total duration of 4 weeks.
Very hard time for me and my mother which we would have never been able to go through without incredible professionalism, genuine love and care of Dr Vahit, his incredible team, Dr Omer and all the medical staff.
The attention to the patient is something I have never experienced before. And it is very genuine - from the doctors to nurses, to cleaners, and - very important to mention an amazing international team who has been such an essential part in this journey, holding our hand on every step.
Top notch modern equipment, all kinds of examinations available 24/7, professionalism and a wonderful room where I could stay with my mother during these 4 weeks.

When we needed a complex solution with the insurance - the doctors and the international team have done their absolute outmost and have been the biggest support in the moment when one is very scared and fragile.

Writing this I have tears of gratitude to Dr Vahit and his team for saving my mother and to everyone at Memorial for the most outstanding support, care and empathy towards us as their patients.

I came all the way from Japan to have the gastric sleeve surgery done with Dr Vahit. Everyone has been so accommodating with the whole process. I always had someone in my corner if I needed them. Everything has worked out perfectly and I look forward to my future! My care team and the nurses at the hospital were wonderful! Thank you so much for assisting me along with this new life!

Ich hatte mich über eine deutsche Webseite zu einer Schlauchmagen OP im Memorial angemeldet und diese nach telefonischem Kontakt mit einer Frau H. auch gebucht. Kosten dafür im Paket 4020 Euro, ohne die Flüge. Die Termine waren flexibel, so konnte ich verhältnismäßig günstige Flüge buchen. Nach Überweisung von 250 Euro auf ein deutsches Konto wurde die OP bestätigt. Angekommen in Istanbul lief alles so wie zugesagt. Abholung am Flughafen und erste Nacht im A11 Hotel. Kontakt per WhatsAp und am nächsten Morgen Transfer in die Klinik, nur wenige hundert Meter. Es erfolgte eine gründliche Untersuchung, Ultraschall des Bauchraumes, Blutkontrolle, Lungenröntgen sowie diverse Gespräche, auch mit einer freundlichen Ernährungsberaterin. Dann der erste finanzielle Schock: es sei eine weitere kostenpflichtige Untersuchung notwendig, damit die OP durchgeführt werden kann. Ohne diese Untersuchung keine OP. Es sollte "notwendig" sein, meine Beinvenen per Ultraschall zu untersuchen. Kosten sollten 1000 Euro, betragen, nach einer längeren Diskussion wurde der Preis auf 700 Euro reduziert. Nach den Untersuchungen blieb ich gleich in der Klinik. Am nächsten Morgen ging es auch gleich los. Nach der OP wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass die OP länger gedauert hat und aufwendiger war als erwartet, ich hatte einen Magendurchbruch durch das Zwerchfell (Hernie) und somit war ein erhöhter OP Aufwand notwendig. Mehrkosten waren dann nach weiteren Diskussionen meinerseits "nur" 1700 Euro. Warum dies nicht bei den Voruntersuchungen festgestellt wurde, konnte mir niemand erklären. Auch mein Verweis auf den Paketpreis war Erfolglos. Nach 3 Tagen in der Klinik wurde ich dann zurück ins Hotel A11 gebracht. Zuvor gab es einen weiteren Termin bei der Ernährungsberaterin, ich sollte mich in den ersten 2 Wochen flüssig ernähren. Dieses Hotel ist dafür jedoch völlig ungeeignet. Es sind augenscheinlich viele Patienten des Memorial hier untergebracht, aber für Patienten nach einer Magen OP ist dieses Hotel in keinster Weise geeignet. In den Gesprächen mit der Dame vom Erstkontakt in Deutschland wurde mir gesagt, ich bekäme alles Notwendige für die ersten Wochen von der Klinik mit. Dem war leider nicht so. Von der Ernährungsberaterin bekam ich ein paar Probetüten mit Protein und Wassersuppe. Ich habe mich dann die nächsten 3 Tage im Hotel von Joghurt und Kefir aus einem kleinem Laden in der Nähe ernährt. Der Transfer zum Heimflug lief problemlos.
Die ärztliche Leistung der Dr. Mutlu ist sehr gut, es ging mir schon nach der OP gut, ich fühlte mich auch in der Klinik gut betreut, auch die Organisation der Transfers war sehr gut.
Beim Abschlussgespräch, einen Tag vor meinem Rückflug bekam ich dann den OP Bericht und weitere Unterlagen, inklusive eines Videos von meiner OP ausgehändigt. Es erfolgt auch eine Nachsorge per WhatsApp durch die Ernährungsberaterin, mit Check der Blutuntersuchungen, insofern ist alles gut.
Was mich jedoch stört, sind die nachträglich erhobenen Kosten, 700 Euro für einen 15 min Ultraschall und die 1700 Euro für die OP Mehrkosten.

I had very bad experience with the Vahit Mutlu he is not professional. I had ballon in order to lose weight. He hasn’t done any blood tests or any observations. I was dying due to his mistakes. I won’t recommend any of members of public to trust Dr. Mutlu.

I want to sincerely thank the whole team, i had an amazing experience. The team took care of me from the moment i arrived to the day i left. All my questions were answered, medications were well explained. I was so scared when i arrived but im grateful to be welcomed by such a wonderful team. Dr Vahit and my Dietitian Selen were amazing. And the whole team in general i just cant thank them enough. If you are ever thinking of doing GS this is the right place.

Ich hatte bei ihm eine Schlauchmagen Operation. Die Voruntersuchungen waren super so konnte noch herausgefunden werden das ich einen Gallenstein habe. Alle sind sehr freundlich, ich hatte die ganze zeit einen Übersetzer was mich ziemlich beruhigt hat. Auch das ganze Team war super lieb und Aufmerksam, Pflege und Ernährungsberatung. Kann hier klar nur empfehlen wenn jemand das vor hat.
