PNR not received but booking is LEGIT
I had booked an Air India return ticket for the BOM-GOI sector. Didn't get a PNR number despite reminding them by sending repeated mails. Their only reply was 'wait patiently'.
Finally i called Air India and the airline helped me retrieve the booking with my last name and flight number and date.
So these are guys are LEGIT but for some reason don't send you a PNR number for 48 hours.
Also they have super CHEAP DEALS.

First of all, we are a compliant OTA website.
Secondly, when you make a reservation, we have clearly marked: "The ticket will be issued within 48 hours after the payment is successful ."
Regarding the situation where you have queried information in the airline system but have not issued a ticket, our tickets are issued in the order in which the passengers place orders and complete payments, not just one order waiting for ticket issuance.
We will reserve seats in advance and continue to issue tickets for users.

Charged Extra than Actual bill
Book my ticket today morning, Total amount shown on bill is 3476/- while my card has been debited by 3673/- Also this is the first time I've come accross a travel agency that takes payment and makes you wait for 48hrs for the actual ticket.

I had a good experience with VakaTrip
I had a good experience with VakaTrip. The payment process was smooth, and the website is genuine. However, customer care is a bit slow in response, which I guess is because it's a startup. My Order ID is 3459825452108, and I booked 3 tickets for my family. Despite not receiving the PNR ticket email within 12 hours, I emailed VakaTrip customer care and they responded to my email after 3-4 hours, stating that the payment was successful and the airline was assisting in issuing the ticket, so issuting time is 48 hours. And after viewing the negative reviews I got concerned and called the airlines and told them my flight number, time and travel city, After verification of details, the Airlines ( AirIndia) sent me the confirmed tickets to my registered email,
So no need to worry this is a genuene site, and the other part of the review: is about the payment part as I saw many comments indicating higher prices than shown, You all must note that, VakaTrip is a foreign website headquartered in Hong Kong and based in China, so all must note that payments are treated as international transactions. You need to enable international transactions on your credit/debit card, and a markup fee are usually of 2-3% applies. Despite this, I saved money as other Indian travel sites showed higher prices. I got tickets for USD$ 87.00 resulting in INR ₹ 7,266, No worries about that for me, as I got here from SkyScanner, and in other sites there was a difference of 950+ INR, and my credit card forex markup fees are 3% + 18% GST, that's just 217.98 + 18% GST = 257 INR ₹, And other travel websites were showing 8,600 INR + , so yes I still saved a bit here even after paying forex charges and if you're planning to pay via debit card, you must note that apart from markup fees: the bank deducts 1% TDS in every foreign transaction, and that is refunded when you contact the bank.
Suggestions for improvement: Please improve customer care response times and ensure timely communication with customers, especially those with upcoming flights. Enhancing customer experience and building more trust will encourage us all to buy the cheapest tickets from you again. Despite the initial concerns, I found VakaTrip to be a genuine site.

I just booked my flight on Vaka Trip…
I just booked my flight on Vaka Trip order no. 3459620229931 and the amount on invoice was 3987. When I booked the ticket, Rs 4305 was deducted from my account. I have travelled in countless flights in my life and never faced such cheating from any airline service provider. Whatever amount is going to be deducted the exact amount is shown in the final amount or in the invoice. Also, I have not received any confirmation from the airline company which is Air India. When will I get that? Can you please help me with this and the extra amount that was deducted? This is frustrating and makes no sense at this point.

No PNR flight in few hours
I booked ticket from Chennai to Hyderabad. I have flight in few hours. I still did not receive PNR. My order number is 3459435869165.... Now I am stuck. No one wants to worry about PNR when you have so many other things to worry about during travel. Vakatrip is a worst.
Update: I have called the airline customer care and got my PNR. People who are waiting for PNR please call their respective airlines for PNR.

The Customer Service is bad, they don't issue refunds, they lie to you that there is no refund available, even after deduction of penalty amount, there was a refund available, but the customer service is very late to revert and they don't provide with full disclosure, with my experience, I shall never recommend booking from this website
