Today I had my rental agreement with Brigitte - she was friendly, on time and really helped us during the hunt for the apartments, Vanderhuizen is definitely recommended and especially the broker Brigitte - we could feel the empathy and her hand of support all along the process.

Mega lekkage in de badkamer door de douche van de bovenburen, de lamp kwam zelfs naar beneden. Op maandagochtend om 09:00 gebeld en Alex zou een monteur deze kant op sturen. Om 11:20 stond er een monteur en die is tot 16:00 bezig geweest en alles is opgelost! Super netjes geregeld THANK YOU ALEX!!! 🙏🏼

Slechtste verhuurder ooit
Als je een lekkend dak in je slaapkamer wilt en regelmatig koud wilt douchen is Vanderhuizen de ideale verhuurder.
Voor de rest zou ik hier heel ver uit de buurt blijven. Heel veel achterstallig onderhoud en als je een mankement hebt beloven ze dat er iemand komt, maar ik heb nooit iemand gezien.
Daarnaast rekenen ze kosten die ze niet in rekening mogen brengen (contract kosten). Ze zeggen dat ze deze kosten daadwerkelijk maken, maar dat is onjuist.

Dank voor uw review. Het spijt ons om te lezen dat u deze ervaring heeft gehad. Een lekkend dak of problemen met warm water zijn uiteraard zaken die zorgvuldig en tijdig opgelost moeten worden. Dat u het gevoel heeft gehad dat er niets met uw melding is gedaan, vinden wij erg vervelend om te horen.
Naar aanleiding van uw bericht hebben onze collega’s van de onderhoudsafdeling hun mailboxen gecontroleerd. Zij hebben daarin helaas geen reparatieverzoek van u kunnen terugvinden. Dat neemt niet weg dat wij uw situatie serieus nemen en hier graag duidelijkheid over krijgen.

Wat was ik vandaag blij. Ik heb vandaag mijn huurovereenkomst getekend met Brigitte. Waren allebei optijd en alles liep soepel. Ik ben zeer tevreden en Brigitte heeft me goed geholpen en tips gegeven.

Very nice and pleasing experience
Very nice and pleasing experience, especially the possibility of viewing the apartments/rooms for free. The staff, espcially Brigitte, was very helpful and open for any questions. Compared to other similar companies on the market I was able to find a place way quicker than expected, especially without fees, which is particularly nice for students.

Wel vond ik dat als je documenten geaccepteerd werd maar je niet gekozen word dat je iets van voorrang moet krijgen voor andere appartementen waar je je voor aanmeldt.

Replacement of The Stove
When moving in I found out that the stove in the room was in poor condition and I asked for replacement. Process went smoothly and quite fast, thanks to Darya! She managed to address and resolve my problem excellently!☺️🫶

Great accommodation with great supportive staff
I have been living at VanDerHuizen in Leiden for about one and a half years as a student, and overall I have had a very good experience. The building is well maintained, the common areas are kept clean, and the accommodation feels safe and well organized. Recently, my contract was about to end and I renewed it. I especially want to mention Marie, who supported me throughout the renewal process. She handled everything clearly and efficiently, offered me a suitable alternative based on all my preferences, and guided me through the tenancy agreement. The process was smooth, and communication was clear. Overall, I am very happy with my experience and would recommend VanDerHuizen to other students looking for reliable housing in Leiden.
