Lewis at van monster Wakefield was an absolute legend. Helped, assisted, and went through every step.

I needed a van at pretty short notice. Chris supported me through the options around the country to fit my requirements and ended up moving one from down south. Once in Wakefield it was inspected, cleaned up and available to me within a week. Great little van & really happy with it. The team on site were great, really went above and beyond, most importantly they gave me confidence in my purchase. Communication was frequent and efficient. Would definitely recommend.

We were buying a car rather than a van from Van monster. Lewis was excellent. His communication was great, he was honest and personable and he kept us informed throughout. No hard sell. The process was thorough but efficient. The company seem to care about providing a good service. Would visit again!

Buying my first van as a young business owner felt like a huge step, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience than I had with Lewis.

From the moment I arrived, he was friendly, genuine and never once made me feel pressured into buying. He took the time to answer every question I had, explained everything clearly, and made sure I understood the whole process without ever making me feel silly for asking.

The biggest moment for me was during the test drive. Everything was going smoothly until I had to reverse the van. As someone moving from a car to a van, I completely lost my confidence, but Lewis was incredibly patient, calm and encouraging. He guided me through it with genuine care, and because of that, I realised I could do it. Without his support, I’m not sure I would have gone ahead with the purchase.

The van itself was also presented to an exceptionally high standard. It had been fully serviced, MOT’d and thoroughly inspected before collection, giving me complete confidence that I was driving away in a reliable vehicle. As someone who depends on my vehicle every day to run my business, that level of preparation and attention to detail meant a great deal. It’s incredibly reassuring to know you can trust the vehicle you’re investing in.

It’s rare to come across someone who treats customers with so much respect and kindness. Lewis made what could have been a daunting experience feel exciting and enjoyable, and the quality of the van only reinforced that I’d made the right decision. I genuinely never expected this level of care from a van dealership, and it’s because of Lewis that I drove away feeling confident, supported and excited for this next chapter of my business.

this was the worst experience off my life. the first van bought was in the garage 3 times! when taken to main dealer was deemed to experience to repair, i was given a new van! this was also the same, constantly in for warranty repairs that where not done to a good standard! after the warranty ran out i have spent 1000s pounds on this van. i would never buy a van of van monster again. avoid like like the plague.

Excellent customer care from Lewis and Chris, at Wakefield Van Monster, 5 stars all round. They explained everything in detail when my husband purchased his new 2nd hand motor, an absolute gem, in good condition and prepped for collection. Happy with the price, part exchange and service. Cannot fault these Sales lads. Honest and helpful, and definitely recommended to family and friends.

Purchasing my van from Van Monster Wakefield has been absolutely brilliant from start to finish. They do not pressure you in ANY way at all. They are a genuine team of people who have your best interest & their customer service is 100%. I would like to thank especially Lewis & Chris. Fantastic sales staff and quick turn around. Couldn't do enough to help and the Vehicle condition was Fantastic.

Unfortunately iv had nothing but issues since buying a van from here, iv had my van for nearly 8 months and its now needing more repairs,

upon collection the van had a panel sticking out, it was *repaired* only to pop back out again, the repair place I took it to said they thought it had been bumped.

Then I had an adblu issue, was told to take it to Huddersfield for repairs, was assured it would be able to be driven home even if they couldn't fully repair it then, to then be told I couldn't take it home, they had no hire vans so I ended up stuck in Huddersfield until my friend with a van could come and pick me up, they then couldn't sort it so ended up in the repair shop for 3 weeks after been told it was different issues

They continued to give me wrong information (after sales) about where id need to collect the van or drop it off, I was told id need to drop it off places with no regard to the fact I had no other transportation or way of getting home or to work etc,

I had northgate telling me the vans weren't great and peugeot in general have a bad reputation when collection a hire van

My head unit with plug in android isnt working properly, I was told they had ordered parts, never heard anything again but due to agro of it all I didnt chase it up

Iv now ended up with the reverse lights and sensors not working on the van so its off the road again.

The sales team in the shop are great but overall im absolutely appalling service from after sales , they did acknowledge my complaint but this was also before more issues happened.

I feel iv been sold a van thats not fit for use.

We've purchased several vans for a business fleet, and I have to say the customer service and documents that we received from Van Monster was A* compared to other sellers. I would certainly use them again.

Lewis was really helpful from first point of contact , phoned to say another branch interested , asked if i wanted holding and did . I went following Monday to view, Lewis is a straight forward to deal with if need another van would phone for him to find another.

From the moment I first made Contact with Chris, he was excellent, extremely helpful and accommodating, I felt completely relaxed and assured and he left me to decide without being your typical salesman. Offered various options for my situation and was informative and clear . Can’t recommend him and van monster enough, extremely happy customer with the service and of course the van.

Brilliant service, Lewis has been quality throughout the process. Made it easy and smooth

Walked in to the showroom and talked to Lewis and explained to him want we were looking for
He told me what stock was available and walked around three vans which fitted our needs with the keys
Gave us all the information we needed and never put any pressure on us to buy any of the vans
We went away to decided on a van we wanted phoned Lewis he then sorted everything out and two days later we we were driving away in our van
Also during the hand over and sales Lewis explained everything simple and accurate

From the first phone call I made to the Wakefield showroom, I felt like I was dealing with a down-to-earth, no-nonsense team.
Lewis handled the process as I figured out which vehicle would best fit my needs - and he took the time to head out into the winter cold, tape measure in hand, to work on some internal dimensions I'd requested. More than once!
Everything from that point until I was given the keys (to an excellent, valeted van) was explained clearly, and thoroughly.
Nothing was a bother, and I rest easy with the confidence that my used van is in great shape.
I never got the impression Lewis was 'selling' anything to me. Rather, he was helping me get what I wanted. When I first got in the van I realised there were a few bonus features that were never pushed to entice the deal; i.e. a fully-filled AdBlue tank (that means I don't need to pay CAZ charges), a roof rack, blind-spot mirrors, discreet storage compartments in the cab, plenty fuel in the tank, etc.

The service provided was outstanding.

Chris Evans at Van Monster provided outstanding, industry-specific consultation. He didn't just sell a vehicle; he demonstrated the knowledge and patience necessary to guide me toward the optimal van for my business application.
