Was unsure about being accepted for finance but with the right salesman 'Peter Gailitis' from entering the establishment, to sitting in his chair discussing what type of car i was looking for,
to looking at the used cars they had he was amazing.
Paid attention to detail when I told him what I was looking for and the budget i had set.
I fell in love with the citroen c3 aircross but they only had that make in manual at the shop.
He got the keys so I could take a look & feel of the car and I was like YES this is it but I needed it in automatic.
We went back to his desk so he could search other bases if they had the car in automatic and they did.
We put the £100 reservation fee and arranged for the car to be delivered to Birmingham.
The quick process and delivery of the service team.
I went in Thursday 7th May just to look around and ended up findingwhati wanted. My car got delivered Monday 11th May, saw & had my test drive that afternoon. Then drove away with my car Wednesday 13th May after everything was signed and finalised 😁 I was one happy lady and still so happy & enjoying my new family car.
Shout out to Ben Barker & David Lee also 👏🏾 getting the final touches sorted. Thank you gentlemen. 🙌🏾

I am writing this to warn other Ford owners about the appalling lack of technical competence and professional integrity at Vertu Ford Birmingham.
1. Ignored Technical Instructions & Negligence:
On 08/04/2026, I provided specific written instructions for my engine replacement, explicitly requesting a documented inspection and cleaning of the fuel injectors and turbocharger to prevent metallic debris from the original seized engine from compromising the new unit. The General Manager, has now admitted that these instructions were ignored, and the new engine was installed with faulty old parts.

We have been looking at your car since we have had it back, you may have noticed that we have been driving to replicate the fault code that happed this morning.
Our diagnosis is that the Cylinder Injectors 1 and 3 are showing as needing to be replaced. These were not replaced as part of the engine change as it is not part of the standard procedure to do so if there is no reason to do so. None of these fault codes were present at the time of doing the engine replacement or on the test drives that we carried out, which you know as you would have had the notification on your app.
Conclusion:
I have completely lost confidence in this dealership. They have demonstrated a total disregard for customer safety and basic mechanical standards. I have escalated this matter to Ford UK and the CEO of Ford, as Vertu Ford Birmingham is clearly incapable of delivering a safe, roadworthy vehicle despite being an authorised dealer.

Now called Vertu Motors. their salesman Mark hit all the right buttons and patiently explained the options finding me a car ideal for my needs. As importantly he very carefully explained all the new gadgets and enabled me to handle the city's rush hour traffic. A great buy, with great service. If you pop down there, ask for Mark and say David sent you.

Good, attentive and enthusiastic service until I changed my mind and asked for my deposit to be returned. At that point, the calls stopped being returned, emails were ignored and excuses made. Predictable but really very poor and would not consider buying from them again. Beware.

I'm able to become quite overwhelmed with the amount of things in a car purchase (finance agreements, insurance etc.) but Mark explained everything well and put me at ease.

Great staff, good communication, everything was explained well about our purchase, good range of vehicles to choose from. Our salesman was Mark Selby who was fantastic to deal with, always available on the phone or by email and responded well to all our queries.

Guided me through the whole process calmly and in depth, wasn't at all 'Pushy' and went above and beyond. Nothing was too much trouble and offered me some great services at fantastic prices too. I'd without doubt recommend Mr.Selby at VERTU Ford specialist Birmingham if your thinking about purchasing a car,van or motorcycle.

Contacted Ford Birmingham where Bradley, from the start, was great to deal with. Help and advice was (and still has been after taking ownership of our vehicle) always there. He even took time to read my (rather long) emails.
He went above and beyond. Nice to know that this kind of service can still happen.

Huge thanks to Andrew Waring at Vertu Birmingham for his outstanding service and communication throughout.
I initially had a truck reserved with the Gloucester dealership, and Eddie there was great to deal with. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control, the deal couldn’t proceed, but the refund was handled quickly and professionally.
Andrew then stepped in at the Birmingham site and made the whole process seamless, resulting in an amazing truck and a great overall experience.
Well done Vertu, and well done to both gentlemen — highly recommended!
