Vertu Motors - Honda Sunderland レビュー 

Bought a car in Jan 2024 and it had broken down within 6 months. I called out a mechanic (who diagnosed the symptom not the actual issue). The mechanic did complain that the garage "could not have possibly" serviced the vehicle when they sold it due to the state of the oil and one of the air filters. Less than 6 months after that the car broke down again with exactly the same problem. At this point it was clear the car was faulty and so I began looking at my rights and to try and get the vehicle diagnosed and fixed. This second breakdown happened just before Christmas, ruining my xmas plans and leaving me to spend xmas and NYE alone.

As the car was not under warranty, Vertu refused to diagnose the issue and fix the car - in breach of my rights under the Consumer Rights Act. They refused as this would cost them to do so - but are more than happy to continue taking payments from me for a car that is now no longer roadworthy less than a year after purchase.

I am now left with expensive diagnosis and repairs for a car they sold that was faulty & a ruined Christmas & NYE.

I would urge anyone thinking of buying from here to go elsewhere as once they sell the car they are more than happy to break the law and shaft the consumer. I will be reporting them to the relevant ombudsman & taking necessary action to enforce my consumer rights, none of which should be necessary.

I enquired about buying a car miles from where I live as it came up in a search. 2 days spent, talking to them, trying to work out if delivery would work for me, whether it would be risky to buy a car without seeing it. Discussed that I would not be taking car finance. I finally decided to buy the car and when I was sent automatic no reply payment information I realised that payment by credit card was only accepted up to £1000!
At no point anyone asked how I would be paying. Needless to say, I was not able to proceed. What a total waste of my time! That should have been the first thing to check.

Very disappointed with vertumotors when I bought my service plan I was told collect and deliver within a 10 mile radius which I have in writing your company tried charging me £60 after I told your service guy I wasn't happy he dropped it to £45 I called back and spoke to a lady who spoke to your service manager who quashed it I find it hard to understand how a company of your size try to rip customers off would not recommend

I was miss sold the car. This is completely a fraud where I was confirmed that warranty is there for 18 months and later when made the payment I was told it is not the case

We recently purchased a car from this garage. From start to finish our salesman John G was excellent. With sound knowledge of the car we were buying, and assisting with the part ex.

We weren't pushed into any sale, also he ensured all MOT advisories were sorted before collection.

Would recommend.
