Do not pay for the additional warranty it's not worth the paper it's written on. Well it might be if you can get them to actually look at the car......

Bought my car 18months ago from a vertu Launceston, Bristol Street Motors, they sold me the 36month warranty package for £600! I have had some faults appear over the weekend and I cant drive the car. The original dealer has since closed the branch so I've been directed to another one. Called them to ask to book it on for diagnosis and they can't give me an appointment until 22nd July!!!

I'm not allowed to book it in anywhere else as it has to go to their dealer so what am I supposed to do for a month with no car???

When I called the motor assurance warranty to see if they could advise on a better option than waiting a month they just kept telling me they couldn't find me. The caller handler wasn't very helpful, I kept offering my policy number but she wanted every piece of information other than that. When she eventually agreed to take it she told me oh that's because it's on a different system.... That's not my problem, I purchased the warranty with them not another company!

Avoid paying for warranty and therefore avoid using a Vertu garage as you need warranty! Unfortunately you don't know this until you need it!

Peugeot 3008 hybrid GT, picked up on 30/12/25. Josh Gerry was very helpful in explaining the functionality of the vehicle and sorting out all the paperwork and private number plate (even working on his day off to help sort this out). Vehicle was ready and sat in the showroom on time ready to be collected looking great. Pleasant and pleasurable experience all round. Highly recommended.

No issues with any individual member of staff, they were all helpful, polite and friendly. My dissatisfaction was around the length of time it took for a vehicle to be delivered to the dealer. I was told it would be there by a certain date which didn't happen. Then, when I turned up to collect the car and checked it over it wasn't valeted to a very good standard. I identified several areas that had been missed out that still had mud on. I was informed that the reason for the delay in the car arriving was due a tyre pressure warning light coming on. The car was PDI'd and the issue was supposedly rectified. However, the morning after I got the car the warning light came on again so I had to get the issue looked into again.
Apparently vehicles are delivered to the dealer by a third party and there is a distinct lack of clear communication between them as to the location and eta of a vehicle

The salesperson was really helpful and showed great patience going through all the details for my purchase of the vehicle. Josh was very courteous and informative.

Quicker to get through the purchase process, less waiting around, sales advisor more ‘real’ and less ‘smarmy’ which suits me

The whole experience from the initial call of interest to the final collection of my Jeep Avenger Summit was seamless. Talked me through driving an automatic car (first for me), was super on the test drive. Kept me up to date on the sale purchase all the way. Couldn't fault him at all. Lovely chap.

I visited Vertu on a whim. I have never felt like big dealerships with super new cars is somewhere I could get a car from. How wrong was I?! Alex, our salesman was super helpful, kept me in the loop with everything and less than a week later I was driving off in a new car that was originally 300 miles away. We first spotted a Peugeot 3008 car that we were looking for in stock at Vertu car dealership in Launceston, went to visit them to view the car. The car was was exactly what we have been looking for, however, it had a couple of very minor imperfections. Spoke to Josh Gerry who promptly spoke to the branch manager and it was agreed that they would correct these imperfections. Josh kept us informed of progress and we feel that the team (Josh) at Vertu in Launceston went above and beyond to deliver a great car. We have now collected the car and are very pleased with it.
