I just bought a Toyota C-HR from Vertu online through Toyota Ayr. I'm from Bristol, so I was only able to find the right model I was looking for at their dealership. Right from the start, everyone was so friendly and made the whole purchase feel really easy. Cameron made sure I was getting everything I was paying for. There were some minor advisories on the previous MOT, which I noticed. Cameron looked into it right away and sorted everything out so the car was fully serviced. When it arrived, it had a fresh MOT with no advisories.
They also sent the car all the way from Scotland to Bristol with an amazing trade driver. He gave me a little ride tour and showed me all the functions of the car, as it’s a Hybrid e-CVT automatic. The manager Graham explained all the documentation clearly and transparently. They also accepted my request and gave me a reasonable discount on the delivery charge.
Rebecca from online customer service was really kind and helpful. In fact, she made sure I felt comfortable throughout the whole process, especially since I couldn’t visit the dealership myself. I received detailed photos and a personal video tour of the car, which helped a lot.
Overall, 5 stars.

Incompetence taken to new levels!
I have had my van booked in for a safety recall 3 times now and on each occasion I was told the work would be getting done, only to be told that either the “specialist tool” wasn’t in or the part wasn’t in. This is over a period of 6 months. Toyota Vertu Ayr had actually contacted me by telephone the day before the van was booked in and he confirmed that the part and “specialist tool” were in the garage and that the work would be getting done.
The Toyota recall letter states “The bolt may fail which may affect controllability of the vehicle and increase the risk of accident”. Toyota Vertu Ayr seem more interested in drumming up extra work for themselves through “free health checks” rather than fixing safety issues with my vehicle.
Let’s hope I don’t crash due to this safety issues and have to get Digby Brown involved!(other lawyers are available!)

The staff were pleasant, made me feel at ease, listened to what I wanted and acted on it in a professional and caring manner from the receptionist who made the coffee to the salesperson who sold me the car

The salesman (Cameron) who dealt with our purchase was extremely helpful from start to finish. He organised the test drive and provided plenty of useful information on our new vehicle.

Scott at the Ayr branch was amazing. Extremely helpful and not pushy. It was very much an experience of being given information to help me decide if the car was right for me. He made sure I had a good test drive so felt comfortable driving the car. Picking up my new car was just a fabulous day. Lynn kept me entertained and fed with cake and coffee whilst my car was being prepared. Scott went over everything again and made sure I was happy to drive away knowing where everything was. I highly recommend Vertu in Ayr. It is a customer focused experience, the staff are lovely, helpful and professional and go the extra mile to make sure your experience of buying a car is stress free and enjoyable. Thank you Vertu Ayr.

Bloke skipped right by the page with the added extras for paint protection etc which added over a grand to the cost. I had to ask him to return to it. And my trade in was an insult. I got an offer of £2500 more from a garage against another Toyota. I wouldnt go back to Toyota in Ayr. That was poor. I've never had anyone skip by the extras. Trading Standards wouldnt be impressed, because i wasnt.

On the 26th of November I called into Toyota Ayr to find get an estimate for repair damage to my Yaris. I was told that the cost would be £168. I paid it, then was told that it probably won’t need a new bumper. Then was told that you don’t have a body shop to fix it. I can assure you that I would not have paid this knowing that you can’t repair it. Last week I tried to book my Yaris in for its service and mot.The first available appointment was the 31st of April. I called the branch thinking the online system was down. But no that’s the first appointment available. My Yaris mot is due on the 10th of April. I am very disappointed with this. Anyway Bridgend Garage in Ayr is fixing the bodywork and carrying out the mot this Monday.
