Looked after very well by Vertu Toyota in Ayr
I felt really well looked after by Connor at Vertu in Ayr - he was very helpful, patient and answered the many questions I asked. The car was in lovely condition when I collected it and one minor issue that came up after I took it home was addressed by Connor and colleagues with a minimum of hassle for me. Staff were excellent and very clear in their explanations about all aspects of the process, finance agreement and demonstatring new features of the new car. I was never rushed and the the young saleman (Kal Galev) who mainly dealt with me answered all my questions fully and with patience. Caroline at receiption greeted me each visit with a smile, offered tea or coffee and contaced the person I was to see immediately. Overall a very proferssional and friendly service.

Traded in my car for Toyota Yaris. Everything went well. Was a bit hesitant about going from a manual to an automatic but Connor was great in letting me try out the car before I bought it. Good explanation of the internal and external features of car. My son and daughter in law were also impressed.

Excellent service
From my first visit to Vertu Toyota in Ayr I felt welcomed and valued. Amber was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and I loved my ride in the new Aygo X demonstrator. Scott looked after me on my next visit, which was to test drive an Aygo X Undercover, which was the model I was interested in. The car was in excellent condition, perfect for my needs and Scott (and Jarred) couldn't have been more helpful or respectful. I'm delighted with my new car and the service provided by this dealership. Highly recommended.

Everyone at Vertu was friendly and…
Everyone at Vertu was friendly and helpful and made my car buying experience stress free. The sales associate I worked with, Kal, was professional and could answer all of my questions. He wasn't pushy but kind and patient and didn't rush me into making any decisions. I love my new to me Toyota Yaris. Thank you Kal and everyone at Vertu Toyota Ayr.

Good experience overall
The staff at Vertu were helpful, kept us updated and explained everything well. Cameron in particular who dealt with us was so helpful, friendly and patient. Overall very happy with the experience and the car is great, have had no problems.

The staff members who attended to us were courteous, well presented and knowledgeable. I was unsure what type of car I wanted and they talked me through all options to help me make my decision. The atmosphere was relaxing but professional. Tea coffee, cool drinks and fresh cakes were on offer. The experience of unveiling the car we finally purchased was a nice touch.

Toyota Vertu Ayr a pleasure to deal with
I visited the Vertu Toyota showroom in Ayr in May 2026 to test drive a Toyota CHR + EV. The Vertu staff were all very welcoming and professional. From greeting you as you enter the showroom and throughout the buying process they are all professional and friendly. The showroom itself is well laid out and clean and within the space available the cars are well laid out on display.
Scott Tudhope our sales contact was a pleasure to deal with. He is knowledgeable about the cars and is able to answer most questions and will come back to you with information for anything that he needs to confirm. He took time with us prior to a test drive of a CHR+ EV to make sure that we were familiar with the controls and features and as we drove he was informative but gave you time to explore and enjoy the car.
The sales process was well organised and we received our car in excellent condition within a month. Whenever we called during the period until we collected the car our calls were answered quickly and we were put through to the appropriate person.
Trading in our old car and buying a new car from Vertu Ayr was a well organised, efficient but pleasurable experience and I would recommend them to others wishing to make a purchase.
By the way the Toyota CHR + EV is a beautiful car and a pleasure to drive. We love it.

Fantastic car, great price and 1st class service!!
I travelled some distance across Scotland to visit Vertu Toyota Ayr, based on the quality and price of the vehicles they were selling, coupled with their excellent reputation in online reviews and I was not disappointed. Cameron was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. After reserving the car via Autotrader over a weekend, I was contacted by Vertu HQ around 8:30am on Monday morning with a reassuring update. By 9:30am on Monday the Ayr branch had contacted me directly and I had booked an appointment to inspect the car later that week. I was able to make arrangements to drive the car home on the same day of my appointment, should I wish to proceed. The car was presented in immaculate condition and in general the whole process exceeded my expectations. Cameron was honest, not at all pushy and incredibly helpful. Needless to say, I completed the purchase and drove the couple of hours home in my lovely new Toyota, as a very satisfied customer. I cannot recommend Cameron and the sales team at Vertu Toyota Ayr highly enough! I really did feel like a valued customer. Thank you Cameron and team for a first class buying experience - you surely are a testament to the Toyota brand!!

The best toyota approved dealership
I just bought a Toyota C-HR from Vertu online through Toyota Ayr. I'm from Bristol, so I was only able to find the right model I was looking for at their dealership. Right from the start, everyone was so friendly and made the whole purchase feel really easy. Cameron made sure I was getting everything I was paying for. There were some minor advisories on the previous MOT, which I noticed. Cameron looked into it right away and sorted everything out so the car was fully serviced. When it arrived, it had a fresh MOT with no advisories.
They also sent the car all the way from Scotland to Bristol with an amazing trade driver. He gave me a little ride tour and showed me all the functions of the car, as it’s a Hybrid e-CVT automatic. The manager Graham explained all the documentation clearly and transparently. They also accepted my request and gave me a reasonable discount on the delivery charge.
Rebecca from online customer service was really kind and helpful. In fact, she made sure I felt comfortable throughout the whole process, especially since I couldn’t visit the dealership myself. I received detailed photos and a personal video tour of the car, which helped a lot.
Overall, 5 stars.
