Vertu Motors - Volkswagen Harrogate レビュー 

I recently had my Taigo serviced and MOT at Vertu Motors Harrogate. The service was excellent from the reception member of staff with every effort made to ensure my needs were met fully. The mechanical staff kept me informed by video and voice that reinforced my trust in the garage that all was well with my car. Thank you.

All the staff I dealt with at Vertu Harrogate were really helpful, friendly and professional. No pressure at all to purchase a vehicle. Would wholeheartedly recommend a visit.

We were greeted at the door by Liam the very informative sales rep. I had chosen a car online previously and Liam was excellent in answering all my questions and showing me around the vehicle already parked by the door. Had a test drive and reserved the car. No pushy sales just good honest information.

John was super helpful he was awesome. Really reassuring and helped me set absolutely everything up. Amazing

Sometimes after the enjoyment of buying a new car you then fall into the grim reality of the Service Dept! This has sadly happened to me with a couple of different marques in the past and has resulted in my not wanting to buy cars from them in the future!
However, I’m happy to report that my latest trip to Vertu at Harrogate went extremely smoothly. Ella Burns on the front desk provided me with all the info I needed and even took time out to give me a thorough run down on the workings of an electric demo car (kindly arranged by Freya Wain in Sales) - my first drive in one so plenty to learn!
I presume the brake & Haldex work was fine + glad it was carried out in the time stated.
Finally, it was nice to see the bill being cheaper than originally estimated and I appreciated the provision of decaff tea foc to partake of while I waited.
Thanks to Ella & Freya, I’ll certainly go back for future work + hopefully get well looked after again.

Unfortunately now I have to say that I was told that my settlement would be paid on Monday, and on Thursday evening the payment hasn’t been made. I rang vertu Harrogate and asked them to check the payment. The member of staff said she would ring me back and I’m still waiting. I had to pay for the car two days before I could pick it up, so that my payment had gone through.

I recently took my daughters car to this vw branch for a full service and challenged a charge for topping up screen wash which was not required as I had already typed it 2 days prior to service rather than admit it's a mistake I was given excuses that it was a concentrate and the rest was in car ( there was none in the car so they have me 500ml of screen wash).... I walked away but as I dent this was so dishonest I took the matter up with volkswagen uk

We have looked into your case with Vertu Volkswagen Harrogate regarding your complaint about a screen wash charge, which you claim was not needed before your routine service. 

We have received a response from Stuart Porter, Service Manager for Vertu Volkswagen Harrogate, confirming that if you had informed them prior to service that you did not need a screen wash service, they would have excluded it from the vehicle's routine service.

Your Retailer has conducted a full service, as is required when following the Volkswagen guidelines for servicing a Volkswagen. If an item on your vehicle, such as screen wash, was already topped up, then it is your responsibility to inform the servicing Retailer what work should not be conducted at the time of visit. 

After reviewing the facts supplied by Vertu Volkswagen Harrogate, we are unable to offer you any further assistance. 

Your case will be reviewed for closure, as this will be the final position on this matter by Volkswagen UK. 

Maybe it's just me but if the screen wash reservoir is full how do you charge the customer for 1ltr screen wash.
If the item is not required would the garage not inform the customer that is not required.
We also asked for a break down of what's included in the service at time of booking and were told we do not do that.

Very professional. Waiting appointment, check in very helpful. Looked after me throughout. Car service completed within 2 hours, no complaints.
