Very professional and everything was straightforward. Happy customer!

I called in on a very wet day, to look at the possible options for buying a new car. From the moment I arrived (wet), I was treated with courtesy and professionalism. I am not in a position to purchase now, but the service I received will certainly make sure I return.

Went down to Vertu Volvo after seeing a car I was interested in online. After speaking to the First Lady I was booked in for later that morning with Katie.
Great experience, went through the car in detail, answered all the questions I had. Left a deposit for the car, had great communication until I picked the car up and again had a brilliant service. Would highly recommend.

In early December my wife and myself decided to replace our aging Landrover with a new tow car and after much research decided to buy a Sekekt V90 Cross Country from your dealership in Truro.

Our initial experience with Chris Malton was very good, he provided a personal video outlining the vehicle and after deciding to purchase it he arranged a tow bar to be fitted and arranged to collect us from Truro Railway station.

When we arrived at the dealership we were given a good handover and reassurance that the vehicle had been fully checked and that we could take it to any Volvo dealership within 12 months if anything went wrong!

As the dealership is not far from the A30 we had no need to use the brakes until we got to Exeter on our way home. At this time we had to brake heavily in traffic to find that there was a shuddering coming up through the steering wheel when the brakes were applied. We stopped to check this out and decided that it probably wasn’t dangerous and we would take it to our local Volvo dealership in Warwick to have rectified!

The following business day I contacted the service department at Listers Warwick and explained our situation, to be told that the vehicle was not a Volvo Selekt car and that even if it was brakes are not covered! We were asked to pay a fee of over £200 to have the vehicle examined in the New Year!

I then contacted Christopher Malton at Truro and also to the Sales manager Brett Willy .
Both tried to tell me that the vehicle wasn’t faulty when it left the dealership and that it was probably new brakes bedding in !

As I wasn’t happy with this I eventually arranged to have the car examined by Vertu Taunton on 29th December. We were promised by Bret Willey that we would be compensated for our fuel and for the inconvenience of a 210 mile round trip from our home to have the fault rectified!

In the meantime I kept being emailed by Vertu for me to complete a review on their sales performance! I carried out a review as requested and submitted this together with one on Trust Pilot, as you can imagine it wasn’t very complimentary! Almost immediately that it was posted I was contacted by Brett Willey and told that the senior management at Vertu were not happy about my review and felt that it was unfair to post a review before the rectification was completed! I was asked to remove the review from Trustpilot which I did !

The car was eventually seen at Taunton and had new front discs and brakes replaced!

Since the car was repaired Vertu have offered me £30 compensation for a) selling me a faulty Volvo Selekt car b) me having to travel 210 miles and a whole day out to have the fault rectified!

The V90 is now running well and we’ve had no further issues with it!

I feel that we were sold a vehicle which wasn’t up to the standard I would expect from Volvo Selekt and feel that the follow up customer service experience provided by Vertu management has been very poor!

Great comms from the outset. Easy to get test drive organised and on handover, kindly gave us a lift to the showroom.

Top service and professionalism from start to finish we dealt mainly with Katie and Caroline, considered advice offered, every question covered comprehensively. I work in a sales environment as my own profession and never felt like I was being 'sold to' more advised and my needs considered. We visited other garages nearby and chose to buy from Vertu Volvo as we were looked after and they did what they said they would (unlike the other teams we encountered), when they said they would. A1 service.........

Brilliant service from start to finish..customer service was very good and we were looked after well. The salesman Josh was fantastic, kept us up to date with everything. Very accommodating!! Very happy with our new car.

Having visited Vertu Volvo Taunton on a whim over the weekend with no real intention to buy - the hospitality of Rob and his colleagues resulted in a sale within the week. The entire process of viewing, test driving, etc was perfectly handled throughout.

This was our first Volvo purchase. We were extremely satisfied & pleased with the whole process from making the first visit to the excellent showroom to the vehicle collection 7 days later. Our Sales Consultant Rob Scott arranged a test drive & took us through the whole process of ordering the car. We were pleasantly surprised to have so much choice regarding colour and the speedy availability of the car. We were kept fully informed via email & phone between Ordering & collection.
The whole process was excellently handled by Rob in an efficient and personable manner & the car is excellent as well!

The sales person we had was Katie, she was knowledgable and able to answer all the questions we had about the car, we especially liked her relaxed but professional approach.

Bella and Caroline have been excellent throughout the purchase process, looking for an appropriate car that met my needs

Rob Scott was excellent throughout the purchase. He gave me very helpful and thorough explanations and a test drive in the XC60. He was especially helpful in explaining the several documents to me, too. It was a pleasure to deal with him. I should add that the ladies, Olivia and Caroline, were very kind and create a good impression.

The team at Vertu Volvo Taunton made the buy process straight forward including the trade-in of our old car. As the new car is second hand any issues have been quickly sorted out and rectified without question.

I cannot recommend the Vertu Volvo Taunton dealership highly enough. Caroline and Bella were an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout the process, especially dealing with the finance issues of my previous lease and sorting out the transfer of my personal plate. We are delighted with our new car, and so pleased that we have found a dealership, that in a highly commercial sector, looks after its customers so attentively.
