I came to know about Vinous through a recommendation from my husband, someone who I would say is a knowledgeable wine drinker. I am probably the complete opposite but love to entertain--wine being an important part of that. This app is for both of us.

Whether you are a novice or consider yourself a connoisseur, Vinous provides an incredible wealth of information in a way that is accessible and easy-to-follow.

My favorite feature is the ability to search labels by scanning them. It is like having a expert at your fingertips that can help you choose the perfect bottle for any occasion minus the stress that comes with that. And with such a thorough glossary, details don’t get lost in “wine speak” that I probably wouldn't otherwise be able to grasp.

Wish I had known about this sooner as it would have helped me avoid so many bad bottles—but super grateful for it now.

Vinous is an Incredible Resource

I'm a semi-serious wine drinker who is looking to learn more. Vinous provides in-depth resources on all the major wine regions in the world, and reviews/retrospectives on new and classic vintages. Now that they've teamed up with Delectable I can use the app to document what I drink and see how my own estimations of a wine match up with other wine enthusiasts. I highly recommend Vinous if you want to learn more about wine (and find great bottles to drink, of course).
