My modem stopped working so I went to Shopper's World in Brampton to exchange it for a new one.
John and Mani were so helpful. They had the modem I needed and Mani even added the Virgin app to my phone to complete the process! John had a wonderful sense of humour and they were both a pleasure to deal with. my new modem hooked up without any issues.

called customer service regarding my cell phone battery overheating it was so hot i dropped it and the screen cracked now they want 500 to replace it my phone is a week old.
had the run around all day yesterday for 9 hours and got nowhere the girl gave me pure attitude and told me to try and get her fired i have her name and employee number

We've been with Virgin for 10 years

We've been with Virgin for 10 years, phone and internet. In last 2 months I had to use VPN to watch IPTV apps because they started blocking them in the evenings and weekends. Called 3 times and always tell me they are not blocking anything, even when I tell them I use VPN. It was all great till recently when they started offering their tv and I declined. I'm never going back after the contract is finished.

Very satisfied customer

I’ve been on the virgin phone plan for over a year. I switched from Telus who was charging me double what I’m paying now with more gigs of data. Originally, I used my old phone but I wanted to upgrade. I saw that they offered pre owned phones for a very good price. I wasn’t sure what to expect when it arrived. It was labelled as very good condition but to my surprise, it was like brand new. The screen and camera were completely free of cracks and scratches, which leads me to believe that they were replaced. The battery health was also at 100%. Even though I had to upgrade my phone plan, there were discounts offered so overall, I’m paying an extra $14 per month for 24 months which includes my new to me phone. It’s totally worth it to go from an iPhone 11 Pro to a pre owned like new 14 pro 256g.

I’m very glad I made the switch to virgin and it has saved me so much money for the same level of service I was getting from Telus.

No Internet, No Answers

Moved into a new place and went with Virgin Plus based on some good things I’d heard about their internet quality and price. The install was supposed to happen on April 1st, but we got a call on March 28th saying there was an issue with the terminal and that someone needed to fix it first.

Fast forward to April 15th — that’s almost two weeks past the install date — and after four phone calls, we still haven’t been given any clear updates on timelines, what the issue actually is, or when we can expect service.

It’s been an extremely frustrating process. In today’s world, especially with remote work, internet is absolutely essential — and having to hotspot off my phone for everything during this time made things even more difficult.

Ended up going with a competitor and had internet installed within 3 days of signing up.

I hated the experience of Virging Plus…

I hated the experience of Virging Plus internet:

- Customer billing app was hard to navigate and non user friendly

- Modem was always down (Steeve) and I have to troubleshoot online to know how to fix it (Agents online were not helping)

- 50% of the time my internet speed was reduced and I had to contact them to "Fix the problem"

It really felt like they were selling me some internet speed but at the minute I wasn't checking they were reducing it. Maybe it was only in my sector and it's not like that everywhere but I did not like the fact that if I wasn't reaching out to agents, I was losing internet speed by default

Your LTE is sucks!!!

Your LTE is sucks!!!! Trying to upgrade 5g where you guys use to have it. I upgraded my phone last nov 2024 and now, i only get LTE data for 4 months! Which is so slow to watch reels or even tiktok. This is frustrating. And i cant wait to finish my contract to you guys!!!!!

GREAT EXPERIENCE

I just bought a new phone today at the kiosk located at Oakville Place. The staff there were very helpful, informative, respectful, and pleasant to deal with. The staff members Baban and Dwayne were very helpful in helping me to decide on which phone to buy and it helped me in answering all my questions and doing so and a very patient and polite manner. The best part is, they saved me some money today too and I’m very appreciative for that. my experience today was so great that I will certainly go back to them again.

Absolute trash company

Absolute trash company. Faceless money grabbers who charge roaming fees even when roaming is turned off on your phone. Take months to ship phone. 100% would not recommend.

So many things went wrong.

So many things went wrong.

Don't try and safe money just sign up with rogers.

1. I got my modem, it didnt work. They deemed it defect. I had to go to a store to return it and get a new one
2. I got a replacement modem and it didnt work. They had to send a technician.
3. I was advised to go the Bell instead and I did. But now I cannot even cancel over the phone because they have mistakes in their system. So I will literally have to walk to their store and let them verify me, make them call customer service and cancel my internet plan. Because they have my date of birth wrong in the system (It was not me who set that up it was set up in store).
Customer service that talked to me was very rude when I told them about my frustration.

I have spent countless hours with their customer support. This is the most inconvenient thing ever.
Skip virgin plus and go directly to rogers/bell.

Cannot ever recommend them at all.

Virgin plus added internet to my bill which I not known. I cancelled all my services with them and I’m reporting all this to the better business berau. They are scammers and allows fraud to my account. They made mistake and ate a kk g me pay for their issues they caused. SCAMMERS!!!!!!!

Roam Not So Sweet Roam

For the most part, Virgin is a good deal. Customer service reps are pleasant to deal with. We get lots of data for what we pay each month.
However, unless you’re a social media fanatic DO NOT subscribe to Roam Sweet Roam. You don’t have to actually use your phone in the foreign country to get dinged for it. The phone just has to be picked up by the foreign cell service for any reason.
For those who have to be constantly connected it is probably a pretty good deal. If you have it only for emergencies it’s not worth having. One call may be the same as the roaming fee but it won’t get applied for every day even though you never used it.

The customer service is disgusting- customer service rep named Justine should be fired

The customer service is disgusting, spent over two hours being transferred from person to person all because of a problem they caused due to their own incompetence, on top of that a rude customer service rep named Justine was extremely disrespectful, rude, and incompetent, hung up the phone on me, would not let me speak and constantly talked over me and mocked me, even had the audacity to say "oh you again" when I was transferred back to her, and transferred me to another line without my consent, as well as refused to transfer me to her manager, lying that they did not have one, on top of that they are trying to charge me a bill of almost 400$ for a charge that should have been taken as a security deposit, but due to their incompetence, they did not take it and are now trying to charge me when I can't afford it. Would not recommend at all, better to use any other line, also is not even cheap as it sounds because they will find any useless reason to over charge you if they can.

I spoke with probably 12 support staff…

I spoke with probably 12 support staff in total, hours after precious hours and days ... it was like entering the Twilight Zone. Each time I get transferred to a new person, I had to restart from zero, all over again and again and again and again ... endlessly. I got conflicting input, that at the end of the day, no one could resolve the error they made from day one. No wonder AI is taking over. I wanted to remain faithful, but I was pushed away by inefficient support staff.

Horrible technician service

On August 11th a technician came to install our wifi. He made a hole in the wall and did not cover it with a wallplate. He said he didnt have any in his truck but when he does he will come back and finish the job by putting it where the hole is. He has NEVER came back. It is now Sept 1st. There is a hole in my wall and it is not well done. Our previous experience with Virginplus in Quebec has not been good. The customer service is not helpful they dismiss your concerns. At our old place we waiting for the technician for 3+ hours and he did not come, he no showed.

Great service with consistent internet speeds

I’ve been with Virgin Plus for more than 2 years and never once had to call them. My service is always up. I have Fiber to home service FTTH. It runs over the Bell network. Bell came to install the service and the router was sent to me through mail. Everything worked and the speed is always consistent. Pings are also very low. I see a lot of negative reviews but the only negative thing I will say about them is they offered me a great deal to join them. However they stipulated in the agreement that the price is subject to change. Well it changed after only 3 months. So much for the deal. I always feel duped when a company does this and it does not seem ethical. Yes they tell you right off the bat that prices may change but you never really expect them to change the price in only a couple of months. I would have given them 5 stars but this caused me to remove a star. Other than that - no issues. Just be aware they may change your sweet deal to something bitter after a short time.
