Scammers as far as I'm concerned.

I went to their site to see how much they would charge but I never signed up with them because I can get it cheaper locally. Today I received a bill from them in the regular mail. Included was a credit card which I cut up and am returning to them.

Awful clientele service

calling service clientele ALLWAYS turs into a fight they ask you for your date of birth and loose your nip you reininshate your nip but next time you call same thing date of birth no nip they do not do address change in system they do hard check on your credit that does harm to your credit score instead of,soft check that would tell them your credit score without doing no harm to your score every time you call to get a problème solved you loose your time and get no where and there billing system is totally incomprehensible DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM YOU WILL REGRET

Internet disconnected more than usual

I work from home and rely on the internet. Two days ago(29 July 2024), the internet disconnected, and it took about four hours for both over-the-phone support and a technician to come over and fix it. Today, I woke up and saw the internet was disconnected again. That was too much pressure to start the day, so I unplugged and plugged the modem back in. Fortunately, it worked, but this is too much. The funny part is that to request a call for troubleshooting, you need to access the internet and submit a call request. This is the only internet provider I have used since 2020, and I am considering switching to another company if it disconnects again this month.

The worst company I've ever dealt with!

I've had such a terrible experience with Virgin Plus that I decided to create an account. This is THE worst company I've ever dealt with, besides basically stealing $72 from me, and I have no sensible recourse to get it back.

I was at Staples when a representative from Virgin Plus approached me and offered what seemed like a really good deal. I accepted it, canceled my plan with Koodo (with whom I've never had any issues; it was just a better price), and went on my merry way. The representative was pleasant and friendly enough. That same afternoon, a representative from Koodo contacted me with a counter-offer that I liked even better. Unfortunately, I couldn't cancel Virgin right away because I had left my SIM card with the Virgin Plus rep, so Koodo shipped the new SIM card to me, which took about four days to arrive. In the meantime, I had not made any calls and had barely left my house, so I hardly used their data. On top of that, by law, we have 15 days to cancel any service without hassle here in BC.

I got my Koodo SIM, canceled the Virgin Plus service, and thought I would get back the $108 I had paid originally. A few days passed, and I called to ask when I would get my money back. Everyone I talked to in their customer service was incredibly rude and dismissive, especially the last person I spoke to once the issue got escalated to the highest supervisor I could reach. Essentially, I was told I had to wait a month to get my money back, even though I didn't have the service for a week. It's been over a month since that whole ordeal, and I finally got my refund. I received $36. So, apparently, four days of Virgin Plus is worth $72, and I had to wait a month after having the service for only a few days to find out how much those four days cost me.

I honestly can't articulate the anger and impotence I feel regarding this situation. I will never deal with Virgin Plus again, and I will trash them at every opportunity. I have seldom been treated so poorly by a company in my life. I really hope that the $72 was worth it to them.

Cause she couldn’t understand what am i saying or it was too hard for her to understand
You guys need to get better specialists
Instead of wasting peoples time
I’m not gonna continue my plan with virgin anymore

One of the Virgin Plus employees…

One of the Virgin Plus employees defrauded me in 2023 with a phone hook up sent to the wrong address despite me saying I did not want the plan.

Then I moved. And I got set up only with Internet. I have a monthly bill and the internet works ok. But setup and install were a nightmare.

I can't, though, log into their awful website. No account numbers are correct. My bill is up to date. They will not give me my account number without being able to log into my account number. They want me to go 38 minutes away on transit to show ID -- this is after 2 years as a customer.

Clearly they are incompetent. Please send suggestions

Gimmicky false marketing!

Lies, I was told by Virgin plus internet marketing reps!
1. It is Cable.
2. It has 100 Mbps download speed.
3. It has 10 Mbps Upload speed.
4. Very reliable, never disconnects.

What a mockery this Virgin Plus company is making of itself!
The download speed is never even 20 Mbps, and in the last few days, it has gone down the ditch and is now just giving a 5 Mbps download speed. This unreliable service is not just a frustration; it disrupts my daily life, making it challenging to meet deadlines and stay connected.
The connection doesn't just disconnect occasionally; it's a constant struggle. Every two to five minutes, I find myself having to reconnect, disrupting any work or leisure activity I'm engaged in.

The salesperson was a lair. He said it was cable, but it turned out it was DSL. Despite me telling them DSL doesn't work like cable, he kept pushing his ill-informed, greedy narrative.

The salesperson lied more about the transfer from my cell phone service provider, Fido, to Virgin, claiming I wouldn't be charged a transfer fee. Virgin Plus has the most expensive transfer fee, and NO, they don't stay true to what they promised you initially.

Virgin Plus is a failed company that has hired liars as its sales reps.

After almost 2 years Virgin plus is still causing me problems.

After almost 2 years, Virgin plus is still causing me problems! They put a lie on Equifax, that I had not paid my bill. This caused me some problems when a company that owns them, did a credit check. When I think an incompetent company like Virgin was ruining my credit , I am more than pissed off at them and the Source which was part of the problem. 2 years ago this lie and they still are screwing me over.

Feel deceived by Virgin Plus Canada

Feel deceived by Virgin Plus Canada. Signed a 24 month agreement for $29 a month and I have 2 lines only for them to secretly jack up the monthly rates after I was assured it was set for $29. Girl at Virgin horrible to deal with and an annoying barking dog. Unprofessional company and deceptive! Looking for new carrier.

Great service

The Virgin Plus store is shared with Bell and basically switched my old landline to a low cost cell phone plan to have and the staff worked very hard to do this for me as well as keeping my long time landline number. Very pleased so far at the savings this afforded me while no change in access.

I had my phone put on vacation the end…

I had my phone put on vacation the end of December for two months! This would be for $20 month shortly after that I got a bill for $66 now I just recieved a bill for $236 to be applyed against my credit card on Jan.25/24 I am unable to get into my account my password isn't recognized and the website will not allow me to reset it! My instructions were that I was to no service of anykind as well my credit was not to be used without my approval! Can you explain this to me! Sincerely Neil Reed

Black Friday scam

I signed up for an online Black Friday deal that included a phone and a 2 year contract. When I called them to check on delivery I discovered they had cancelled my order without explanation, notification or consent. I've gone through I don't know how many agents trying to sort it out and every time it just seems to get worse. I've been told four different stories by four different agents and they've been gaslighting me. I have had no resolution at all and I'm finally going to cancel my account with them totally. A store agent told me that the company got in over its head with their Black Friday deals and can't fulfill them. He said that many other customers have had similar complaints and gotten no resolution either. Would definitely not recommend.
