Wakokoro Tea レビュー

Wakokoro tea couldn’t have a more helpful customer service team, and there matcha is amazing

Really trustworthy company. Honest and genuine tips when it comes to choosing matcha. They are fast to deliver and you can ask them anything. There matcha is top quality and fixes all the right paperwork for the customs. I would highly recommend this company and they made it easy for me to start my new business, and my clients love the matcha!

I first tried a sample and later ordered the larger pack, and because it was from a different lot the taste was slightly different. But the quality is still very good and honestly way, way better than many other matcha suppliers I’ve tried.

I’ve tested quite a few different matchas while looking for the right one for our café, and Wakokoro has been one of the best overall. The matcha quality is great, and Jin is also very helpful, honest and easy to deal with.

Very happy with both the product and the service.

I ordered 1KG of Shizuoka Sakuya.
So happy with my order. The matcha is delicious, has such a beautiful, vibrant green color, and is clearly great quality. I truly feel that it’s worth every penny!

Thank you for putting so much care into your product. Please keep up the great work! I really appreciate the quality you offer and look forward to ordering from you again.

I’m very happy with Wakokoro. The matcha is excellent, the qulity is amazing . My order arrived well packed and in good condition.

What really stands out is the help they gave me with logistics. They always reply incredibly fast, and they provided every document I needed straight away, which made the whole shipping process much easier. Jin is clear, patient and honest about what he can and cannot recommend.

I couldn’t be happier, and I’m proud to work with them. I would recommend them without hesitation.

They have been very communicative since day one, they are transparent with their products and deliver superb quality. Shipping is very fast too.

Really great experience! The team is extremely knowledgeable, honest, patient and genuinely helpful. They take the time to understand your needs and guide you towards the right products, without pushing anything. And most importantly, their matcha is absolutely delicious and of excellent quality. Highly recommend!

Experts in the matcha industry- super helpful, knowledgeable and responsive. Products arrived fresh, neatly packaged- what you see is what you get. A

They’re very communicative and quick replies are appreciated

This was my very first time ordering matcha from outside my country, so I was naturally a bit nervous about the whole process. I ordered the Uji Matcha Sagano, and although the pouch unfortunately arrived torn and some powder spilled during transit, I couldn't be more impressed by how Wakokoro Tea handled everything.
Packaging mishaps can happen to anyone during long journeys, but what truly makes a brand special is how much they care about their customers. Jin and the team provided the most attentive, kind, and quick support I could have asked for. They took full responsibility right away and are already improving their packaging for future orders.
That level of genuine warmth, accountability, and professionalism deserves 5 stars without a doubt. I blindly recommend them to anyone looking for authentic Japanese tea. It is a fact that I will be buying from them much more frequently from now on!

Jin has been incredibly helpful throughout my search for the best-tasting matcha at the right price point for my customers. He was very thorough and took the time to explain the differences between each matcha, including their unique flavor profiles.

The two standouts for me were Yame no Kaori and Kosen. Both have a beautiful, vibrant green color that remains noticeable even when mixed with milk. The samples shipped quickly and arrived safely and securely packaged. I’m very pleased with my experience and will definitely continue ordering from this company!

Wakokoro Tea always answers to our inquiries and goes out of their way to accommodate, educate us and recommend products objectively in whatever we need!! All their products are high quality and ship quickly. We will continue doing business with them.

Fantastic matcha, a wide range of tea options at every price point, and smooth, quick customer service.

Wakokoro tea has been the most reliable and trusted matcha online store I go to. Their matcha powder selection are massive and really amazing variety to choose to suits everyone’s tastes and preferences.

I like Wakokoro Tea because they have a bulk matcha powder option. Its really helpful especially for my small matcha cafe business. I love that they have matcha samples to order to find and taste tesr the perfect matcha powder most suitable for our cafe.

One of the top matcha powder I really like were ‘Sakuya’, ‘Yame No Shiro’ and ‘Iwakura’

They also having amazing and helpful customer service. Especially when it comes to delays and shipping issues

Wakokoro Tea has easily become a staple in my daily routine! Their matcha is exceptionally smooth, delicious, and incredibly beginner-friendly, making it so easy to prepare even if you are just starting your matcha journey. It has a delightfully balanced flavor that isn't overwhelming, making it the perfect everyday drink. If you're looking for a comforting, high-quality cup to elevate your day, I cannot recommend Wakokoro Tea enough!

Their matcha powders are amazing! I commend how they handle their customers with speedy response and care. My order was shipped immediately too!

Professional communication and a serious approach to business. We wish the team continued success in the future.

A great selection of high-quality green teas. Shipping from Japan is incredibly fast, and the customer service is attentive, friendly, and reliable.
We’ve been ordering from them for quite some time now (from Austria, where it’s difficult to find good green tea), and we’ve always had an excellent experience. Highly recommended!

Love the options, rates, and convince very professional and straight forward. I ordered the sample set and a 1kg bag of matcha. Highly recommend!

Update: JJ Market was correct — my mistake for not checking my spam folder. However, I think better shipping options like EMS or DHL should be included as an option during the buying process. I know now to ask for it in the future. I've updated my rating to 3 stars as a neutral rating for now. I also apologize to the JJ employees for my mistake and for not checking again.

Old Review :

Not sure what's happening here, it's been 8 days, I order a lot of things in Japan shipping to USA and I usually have them in 5 days, not sure if that's Japan post fault which JJ Market uses but most other Tea houses offer EMS or DHL which JJ Market lacks, I have no idea where my order is ..I emailed them twice, zero customer service. hoping that the heat of the container or warehouse doesn't destroy the matcha I ordered
