Walker Slater was founded in the Scottish Highland town of Laggan, 1989. A year later we opened our first store in the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town—the picturesque Victoria Street. Our once small shop has grown gradually, flourishing into a thriving menswear flagship. Upon this journey we tried out a rail of ladies garments, which gradually became a whole section and later a dedicated store! At Walker Slater, we take the traditional and breathe new life into it. Our main inspiration is our heritage and Scotland’s natural beauty. At the core of our collections is tweed; from the hardest wearing Harris Tweed to the softest blend of cashmere wool. Alongside it we use a selection of fine materials such as lambswool, silk and linen to create traditional clothing with a modern edge. We believe in quality, timeless clothing and work hard to develop looks that are beautiful and functional. Our hand-picked selection of complementary accessories from British and European manufacturers are sold in every store, just in case you need that finishing touch.

Un abrigo de muchísima calidad

Un abrigo de muchísima calidad. En cuanto lo tienes en las manos, te das cuenta enseguida de la calidad que tiene. Los productos son tan buenos que dan la sensación de estar hechos a medida para ti, y la elegancia que aporta al llevarlo puesto no tiene precio. Sin duda, se lo recomiendo a todo el mundo.

Favourite brand, no question..

Favourite brand.
Walker Slater is by far my favourite brand. This is now my fourth time buying from them and I’ve always been very happy with the fir and the style of the clothing.
I don’t have much money but prioritise good quality clothes and the stuff I get here makes me so happy and stylish.
Thank you very much for the summer sale you just did it was exactly what made my purchase possible.

Outstanding customer service and beautiful heritage designs!

I am an international customer planning to buy the Dorothy and Virginia coats, and I am already deeply impressed by Walker Slater.
Their customer service is absolutely world-class! The team responded so quickly and went above and beyond to provide me with precise measurements from their stock to help me find the perfect fit.
Their heritage designs and Harris Tweed fabrics look incredibly beautiful and high-quality. I cannot wait to make my purchase soon.
Highly recommended for their warmth and professionalism!

Very few six-panel Harris Tweed caps on…

Very few six-panel Harris Tweed caps on the market, but the Walker Slater product is lovely. Arrived very promptly, securely packed and packaged. Best option I've found since the demise of Olney a few years ago.
Very happy with the product and the service.

Super fast delivery

Super fast delivery to a remote location in the Highlands. I bought a jacket, waistcoat and shirt and they look exactly like in their website. I ordered my usual size (8 for jacket/waistcoat and 6 for the shirt) and they fit perfectly. Great quality too.

Absolutely amazing quality and…

Absolutely amazing quality and tailoring. I was in so much doubt about the size, in the end I just gave them my body measurements and the size they suggested was as if it was made for me. I cannot wait for the cool weather to wear it.
