Walker Slater was founded in the Scottish Highland town of Laggan, 1989. A year later we opened our first store in the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town—the picturesque Victoria Street. Our once small shop has grown gradually, flourishing into a thriving menswear flagship. Upon this journey we tried out a rail of ladies garments, which gradually became a whole section and later a dedicated store! At Walker Slater, we take the traditional and breathe new life into it. Our main inspiration is our heritage and Scotland’s natural beauty. At the core of our collections is tweed; from the hardest wearing Harris Tweed to the softest blend of cashmere wool. Alongside it we use a selection of fine materials such as lambswool, silk and linen to create traditional clothing with a modern edge. We believe in quality, timeless clothing and work hard to develop looks that are beautiful and functional. Our hand-picked selection of complementary accessories from British and European manufacturers are sold in every store, just in case you need that finishing touch.

What a quality tweed

The fabric's quality and color is awesome. The cut is fabulous and the functional pockets adds a lot to the jacket quality !

I was really surprised by the fast international shipping !
The size guide is very accurate for the edward jacket !

I love Walker Slater

I love Walker Slater! The textiles are beautiful. The craftsmanship is excellent, especially for the price point of their clothes. They ship quickly and package the purchase carefully. This is a great local business.

Lovely quality and comfortable too

I bought a couple of outfits for work to see what sizes fit me.
Their fabric is of a very nice quality and for me the fit is very comfortable, I sent the sizes back that did not fit and found the process to be very easy. The refund was processed very quickly once recieved and customer service kept in contact throughout.
My trousers did bobble slightly in areas of friction but that is not unexpected in a fine material.
I certainly will be coming back soon

Excellent Quality and Smooth Delivery

I am very satisfied with Walker Slater. The quality of the items I ordered is excellent, and the ordering process was simple and straightforward. Shipping from Edinburgh to Germany was fast and completely hassle-free.

The packaging was practical, secure, and well done. Overall, Walker Slater comes across as a high-quality and reliable brand. I would gladly order from them again.
