If I could give ZERO stars I would! Iâve always paid on time or even ahead of time, have never missed a payment. Go to make my payment and all my available credit is gone . I have not gotten ONE single logical reason for this, just 4 different answers with a lot of attitude from a supervisor. Horrible service!
Fraudulent company
I kept trying to use their automated system to make a payment and it kept rejecting it. Finally I contacted customer service. They assured me they wouldn't charge me the $2.00 fee and when I checked it they did! I contacted a Supervisor who told me she would clear the account. She did, for a week! I rechecked it, now they are trying to recharge me $95.00!! I am NOT PAYING these people one more dime!!!!!!
Terrible practices!
Terrible practices!! First of all, your credit expires. So if you want to order a second time from them, they have to to run your credit all over again. The way they report you account to the credit bureaus actually HURT your credit. Itâs not worth the time or trouble. I just paid off my balance and I will never support them again.

Beware Of Bed Bugs In Your Order...
I paid $280.00 for a beautiful bedroom set with bedspread, curtians, pillows the shebang..
About 3 weeks later I start getting little bits all over me while I slept..
The comforter was full of bed bugs and eggs.
I now have no pretty bedroom set, no bed and because I transferred their eggs on my clothing now have no living room set.
So I'm actually out the $280.00 for the comforter set, &250.00 for my mattress, $700.00 for my living room furniture and $600.00 for the bugman.
$$1830.00 later I found out that just because their credit line seems unreal...Believe me it's not worth the final cost in the end if they are spreading these Filthy Blood Sucking Leaches into YOUR HOME!!!
Don't apply it's a scam.
Do not! apply for Montgomery wards credit first they do a hard pull on your credit then you have to go all the way to check out before you can apply for the credit then they do not tell you if you are approved or not. They sent me a email and couldn't even spell nor did it make any sense.first told me item would be ship then told me no. Would send letter, And evey time I log in it said something different I wish I never applied..it is crazy mess is what it is stay away if your trying build credit.

Would give 0 stars. Terrible ordering process. Ordered curio cabinet online on 6/19. Got order confirmation and order. Called almost 2 weeks later to inquire about order. Kept getting the runaround about my card and how they needed to send accounting a memo verifying that my address matched my card. I verified it and that still did not help get my order shipped out. I just canceled the order. Never had trouble ordering online oth any other company with my card but this company needs better practices and knowledgeable customer service staff. Just terrible.

I am Getting VERY Discouraged in this Company. I have Ordered from Seventh Avenue with Zero problems So I thought I would try to get Something from Montgomery Wards. I ordered an Air Conditioner On June 16th. Got an Email it would Be delivered on June 18. So I made arrangements to be Here. NOTHING came. New Message be here from FedEx June 19th between 9 and 1. OK Cancelled Plans. Nope Nothing again. Get message at 7 p.m. it would be here June 20th. Nope Waited all day. Again Nothing. So New Message Be here On Monday June 21st between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Well Here again it is 3 p.m. and Nothing Again. So I called the Company and they told me Not there Problem. But they looked Oh It Should Be here By Tuesday June 22 by 6 p.m. I told them this is VERY UPSETTING.
Crooked company
I ordered a two piece product from their website which I only received one piece (Rover Bench and Shelf). I called to confirm the second piece was coming and received confirmation that it was. Three days later it still hadnât come I call again and all of a sudden the website had changed and now the two pieces are charged separately. The cost is now $90 more for the second piece!

I Have Been An account holder since 2015.. I HAVE NEVER BEEN LATE OR MISSED A PAYMENT. I have been given a high. Credit. Limit but have barely went to 500 dollar I ordered. Solar lights last year which never came. I eventually cancelled order. I saw the same lights again, reordered .the total came to about $275. I called to get status and was told items$69.00 a piece was on hooked because my credit bureaus were locked and a letter would becoming. In the mail. I currently owe them. About $235.00. It's beyond me why a credit pull would even be needed. I actually started to lift the freeze but after talking with their credit department and thinking about all the over priced items I have purchased in the past, seeing same items for less elsewhere and the outrageous shipping fees I have decided to pay account off and close it out! I was going to unfreeze my credit reports just so they could see I am a valued customer,someone to keep who pays all her accounts on time every month, then I thought my payment history should speak for itself! I told them to close my account and I will just pay it off today.. but i thiught about it,, I can shop ANYWHERE so I will just continue as I have been doing and when balance is zero.- freeze them permanently. I agree with all the reviews I have read today. They are not customer friendly. I would not recommend them.
Scandalous
I paid off my account with Montgomery ward, when all of a sudden there was a bill from an account that is not ours. I contacted them, disputed that account, had several conversations, and every time I turn around they lie again saying I acknowledged the debt, and put down my right for dispute. I pay my own bills, but I will not pay something that I did not create, did not order, and therefore did not receive. Their customer service is absolutely scandalous. And while I am disputing this fake account, they froze all the credit that I had on my legitimate one. So let them keep it, Montgomery Ward is not the only company in this country

The MANAGER said âif you donât like what we put in your bill just throw it away, we support many of their organizations â instead of addressing the issue at hand. Montgomery Ward also sells bedsheets that have BLOOD 𩞠on them, refuse to take them back. Bedsheets from China left us rashes. They were not sewn correctly -Montgomery Wards says itâs past 30 days you HAVE to keep them. ð€¢

Ordered a bath rug set which came withâŠ
Ordered a bath rug set which came with 2 rugs and a toilet rug. What I received was unacceptable!!! The rug for the toilet and the larger rug was clearly used. The smaller one looked brand new but the other two were definitely not. The fibers were worn and looked frayed along with looking like they had been washed. I would have maybe thought it was my eyes or from shipping but then my cats went crazy sniffing it like they were smelling unfamiliar smells. They only did it to the two rugs that looked used. I called and they claim they are going to make it right. Still unacceptable in my books. You don't ship out used merchandise for a new price. They thought they were gonna get away with it I'm sure. Most likely won't buy from them again...VERY UNHAPPY!!
Credit taken away for no reason
Montgomery Ward gave me a $1425 credit limit. Today I tried to order, and they said my Wards Credit has expired. Expired? I donât have an expiration date. Well, not everyoneâs credit expires. What the heck are they saying? Then she tells me they donât tell their customers thereâs an expiration date. Do not use this Company. Worst customer service ever. They couldnât even explain to me why. Iâve had exceptional payment history with them for over 2 years.
