Lack of communication but we were one of the lucky ones who actually got the windows fitted but no paperwork so going to ball ache when we do sell up . Place waiting in hell for these cowboys

Avoid at all costs. Do not be enticed by any deals or convincing sales pitches. Brace yourselves for lies, deflection and endless months of grief trying to get your order or your money back. I have never EVER had the misfortune of dealing with such an incompetent company on every aspect. I was reeled in by the November deal and I had an appointment with the sales representative Zac who talks a great sales pitch as he clearly knows window sales. He was initially surprised I had takem a screen shot of the 'Any 12 windows and 2 composite doors for £6,995' but thank goodness I did as he then had to honour the ad. However he still managed to wriggle out of the any composite doors after leaving a brochure stating any of the doors contained could be provided but when I made my selection I was advised they were not included even though they were in the brochure and part of the 'Any' windows and doors so I had to say to proceed with just the windows. I paid my deposit and he said the surveyor would make an appointment to follow up. This is where it all went downhill after they had my money. I never heard from Zac again. The surveyor did not turn up to the agreed time and date. I had to follow this up with the one person, Adam, who was meant to have been in charge of surveying. He said the surveyor was sick so they would arrange for another to come the following day. When the surveyor turned up it turns out he didn't even work for Waterdale but said he had his own window company and was doing them a favour. He was meant to bring examples of the frosted glass and astragal bars to choose from but he didn't. He measured up and told me to check with Zac regarding all other details. I tried to contact Zac by text, phone, email on multiple occassions but he never returned my attempts to contact him. I proceeded to try and liase with Adam who would occassionally pick up his phone and promise to resolve any queries/issues. This was early January now and he did say they would like to fit mid February. Come the week before fitting was due and we had still not confirmed the frosted glass, handles or astragal bars that I had been chasing samples of since November. I could never get hold of him till the week before where he said if I wasn't happy he would refund my deposit but I said I would like my order as I had now been messed around since mid November and had now lost the opportunity of getting any other pre xmas or January deals from any other providers. I also reminded him of the stress and anxiety dealing with Waterdale had caused me and how ill it had all made me as I have MS. This had zero impact and he never rang me back. I knew it was all a poorly run sham operation but I had to see it through as per the advice from my credit card company who advised it was best to wait till the day after the fitting was meant to have happened and ring back the very next day to say that Waterdale had failed to provide the service I had paid for as this would be a more speedy course of action than to have requested my money back before this. The main telephone number for the company rings dead. There is literally nobody to liase with initially but Zac and Adam and as said, Zac disappeared as soon as he had my money with Adam just stringing me along with the occassional reply maybe once every two weeks. They will say they have refunded everyone who has asked for their money back but ask yourself why is everyone asking for their money back and beleive me this will not be easy. I wasted 4 months of my life and only gained endless stress and frustration. Do not think you will be different and that the negative feedback about this company on here is not accurate, it is and much, much worse. Thank goodness I paid by credit card so was covered by their policy and they dealt with everything to retrieve my deposit as I can imagine I would never have seen that money again. They took over in July 2025, I believe, and put this offer out in November no doubt to attract customers and this is where everything went wrong as of end Nov/early December I could only see endless complaints about them online when I logged back into Trustpilot end January when I was not getting any answers. I even contacted Optima, this is their window bochure brand and they had no record of Waterdale on their systems. No team, no working contact numbers, no records with their supposed brand supplier, no way of getting your order or your money back. Do business with Waterdale at your peryl even some of the Trustpilot reviews looked dodgey to me with names like Pane (seriously) and Zac! I expect they will not be in business very long if they are indeed in business at all.

I have been waiting 4 months to get my Windows finished, Front door leeks everytime it rains and a gail blows though, it is draughtier then the old 40 year door that they replaced, no window keys so my home insurance would be not valid if we had a burglary, loads of bits of trim missing, supposed to have a 15 year guarantee but nothing , it would take someone about a hour to finish the job, This is a company that go’s bust and opens up as another, they re registered last July, He go’s by the name of Adam but his real name is Muhammad Ibrahim, Fiddled the VAT, on me, VAT was on the estermate then added it again on the day of fitting when 2 windows where out at front of house and said if I did not pay the extra £2,400 he would take his fitters away with him, so I would be left with 2 holes at front of house. Bucouse there is no paperwork with the windows I can not sell my house as they have to be registered with the council. Have to make 20 phone calls to get one returned and he is just full of empty promises
ADAM if your reading this see you court, I file at 1pm tomorrow lunch time £16,000 + costs

I'm writing the review for the third time, as been convinced to remove previous once due to them buying busy and sorting out! They are completely unprofessional, even the owner promising that things will be sorted and then not replying or answering! I'm left with windows in different sizes than agreed, leaking windows, missing parts, no Keys to them as also losing the cream colour on the front after 2 months!!!!

This so-called company appears to exist only to take deposits and then disappear without providing any services. Thankfully, I paid by credit card and was able to dispute the transaction. It is shocking that businesses like this are allowed to operate legally in the UK. I strongly encourage anyone considering using them to read Trustpilot reviews carefully before engaging.

Scammers stole my hard earned money STAY WELL CLEAR DO NOT USE!!!! SCAMMERS

Do not trust this company absolutely appalling. Windows were left unfinished no window keys trims missing no paperwork no guarantee windowsills have no end caps. spoke to them loads of times kept saying fitter was coming in but never turned up price price was agreed and then added 2 1/2 thousand pound on now won’t answer the phone so I think it’s time to go to court

The work was agreed in October, including replacing 9 windows, with one window to be made larger. We were promised completion within 4 weeks, however the installation did not take place until December, and even then the larger window was not installed at all.

After the installation, it became clear that two windows were completely different in size and shape than agreed, several parts and window keys were missing, and there was no warranty or FENSA certificate provided. Shortly after, the windows started leaking.

Communication has been extremely poor. After raising these issues, we were told someone would come out to inspect the problems, but no one attended, and calls/messages stopped being answered altogether.

We are now left with incorrectly fitted windows, missing components, leaks, and no aftercare or resolution. The situation has caused significant stress and disruption.

Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company.

Stay well away from this firm, Zak took a deposit of £1400 then failed to turn up when promised, ignored our calls and emails then made excuses that his grandma was ill, then had the audacity to say he found me difficult on a human level for not understanding about his grandma. Total scammers taking peoples hard earned cash they should be ashamed of themselves.

This is a SCAM.Zack came to home i ordered and payed deposit for 9 windows ,2 doors £1500.Said would be 3\4weeks from ordering. After contacting then another 4 weeks ,never turned up. I contacted again (sanjay)said fitter sick .Now arranged for another 4 weeks.Please be aware of this company who have changed name from Riverside to waterdale windows? Read all reviews.

I have had adrian and andrew here all week fitting my windows including 2 bays . They have done an excellent job and i would recommend waterdale windows to do your windows
The windows are made to the highest spec

Just had 6 windows and a door fitted.Paul who did it was very professional, realy cares about his work.The windows and door look amazing.Very happy I used Waterdale, competitive price and good products. Would definitely recommend.

Have to say was impressed with communication. Fitters broke some glass (an accident) yesterday. New glass was here and fitted today. Zoe in office has been a great help

Excellent service provided, the helpful members of staff pointed me in the right direction as it was my first time buying windows and had no clue myself where to start from. The staff helped me and gave good advice from start to finish, very glad I chose waterdale windows as I couldn’t have been reassured any better. They helped me choose the perfect style and material of windows to perfectly match my home. The guys who came down to fit the windows did an excellent clean job and were very punctual and respected my property. I also noticed a very positive improvement to my home after them being fitted and was no longer getting drafts coming into my home which made my house warmer especially during the winter. Not only did these windows improve the way my home looks externally but they also increased efficiency. I definitely recommend these guys for the job and have already recommended to all friends and family. I purchased a total of 7 windows and a composite door and clearly do feel the difference every day.

Excellent experience!!! Received my PVC door and 3 windows previous company did a terrible job so I trusted these guys with the work and fortunately I have not been let down, might be coming back for a composite door next.

I placed a lot of trust in this company, and it definitely paid off. The new windows have transformed the look of my house. They recently fitted new windows for me and I couldn’t be happier with the result. The whole look of my home has completely changed – brighter, fresher, and much more modern. The installation was done professionally and everything was left neat and tidy. Highly recommend!

Had 10 windows fitted recently and really pleased with the whole job. The lads turned up on time, worked quickly but carefully, and everything looks spot on. Big difference already with how warm the house feels and they’ve tidied up properly afterwards which was nice. Good communication all the way through, no messing about. Would definitely use Waterdale Windows again.
