Unending delays misinformation and three months later I'm still jumping through hoops trying to get my annuity sorted. They quote high then after sending lots of proof they keep back tracking and reducing the quote.
I'm very ill so stress is very bad for me please dont use this company I wish I'd have known how bad they are and saved myself a lot of misery.

I experienced a minor"glitch" as regards a new Annuity which was irritating at the time: however the internal investigator took full 100% ownership until resolution. Given that inevitably human errors creep in this is commendable!
Recommend without qualification going fwds...

It was Clair Parfit who was very thorough and helpful. The house survey was handled very well. The only small criticism it took a bit of time.

my aunt took out equity release in 2007 for 171k
she had to repay 550k the interest is compounded so you pay interest upon interest
apparently its legal ???????????

Absolutely awful experience. My aunt fell very ill and we had to move her out of the property. The receivers stepped in and the costs and fee’s have risen. They wouldn’t let me pay off the mortgage despite my aunt having no funds hence why she borrowed in the first place. I am power of attorney and have the same rights as her. She doesn’t have a back account as she’s unable to run it correctly without getting further into debt. They won’t allow me to pay off the mortgage even though all checks have been done through my lawyer

JUST provide a first class service. The Advisors are expert, professional, friendly and have empathy with what is a very important decision with no pressure. JUST are diligent in ensuring that all relevant information is given. The current financial picture is provided with clarity. Calls are answered promptly by very pleasant, warm, and helpful advisors.

I am now managing mum's financial affairs under a Lasting Power of Attorney and needed to take out some money from her lifetime mortgage for care costs while she's still able to stay in her own home. It was a bit more fuss than I expected but was still ok: the level of customer service was really good and very personal. I'm giving a five-star review because I quickly realised that the reason Just were more careful with the release than I'd expected is that they were making sure I wasn't ripping my mum off (which is surely a pretty high risk with someone who has dementia and someone else starts managing their money). They genuinely seemed to have her best interests in mind.
