Very straight forward transaction. Give an accurate description of your vehicle. They give you a price and if you accept and have all necessary documentation the vehicle is inspected within 24 hours. You take them for a 1 mile drive in the vehicle and if everything is ok the sale is agreed. They did not try to haggle for a lesser amount. They do not take the car until the payment has been transferred to your bank. They also inform the DVLA

I put 4 stars because I waited 45 minutes in the freezing cold to receive the payment

From step one with the online valuation to the phone call about the car to the collection I couldn’t fault!
Hats off to Maz and Kevin (online team and transport team) for the work! Really appreciate the genuine friendly service!

John and his team, who came to collect my car today, was great. Courteous, took the car for a test drive, sent photos to the office and the transaction was completed within thirty minutes.

WWAC nailed it for me, with a fair price and an easy to work with customer service team. The assessor who came up to check over the car was great, very clear on the process and all round friendly chap.

Notwithstanding everything I write in the following paragraphs, I want to emphasize that all interactions were always very friendly and polite.

Over the course of my interactions I dealt with four distinct "departments": purchase/offers, finance, pickup appointments, pickup team. Although they have access to the same file, the finer details of what I said previously seem to go lost when transferring - had to repeat some information several times, in particular concerning my decision times, and availability times, but also in one case a specific number from the V5C form. Only the final team (2 people) physically see the car and drive off with it.

Since all interactions apart from the actual pickup and drive-off is online / email / phone, you have to be happy with (1) opening your phone to allowing them to use the camera to take videos and to take pictures. This is used to take pictures of documents (e.g. service log) and to walk around car showing state of the car by camera; and (2) sending them pictures/scans of the V5C and of the ID (driving license) by email. However when pressed (I was not happy sending pictures of my ID "into the cloud" by email) they did allow me to only present it to the person picking up the car (who then takes a picture of it, nonetheless).

I interacted with the three departments by phone and by email and they all seemed to be overly keen to do everything quickly and within 48h. I don't know why. I really had to press hard to change their 48h preference to my availability and time-scale between first phone contact on Friday and pickup following Wednesday. I can only advise that you contact them when you're all ready to go (paperwork, clean-out, etc) and ready to dispose of your car within 48h.

The actual pickup involved more pictures of paperwork (incl. my ID), of the car, a 2mi test drive. Then a bit of a wait (20-30min) for the pickup team to talk to the finance team by phone, waiting for confirmatory emails to arrive in my inbox, and finally for funds to arrive in my back account. Only once the funds are visible do they drive off with your car. Most reassuring in that respect.

Finally money/value/quote: the initial online quote was approx. half of the value of the car as was stated on my insurance, and the actual final offer (given to you once the sales person has seen the pictures of the actual state of the car) was half again of the initial online quote. So don't get your hopes too high in that respect. But the final offer was indeed the amount that appeared in my account, no further fees or deductions.

Although it was a bit of a rollercoaster, in the end all went fine.

The prices quoted on line are only made to entice you to proceed with them. You will later receive a telephone valuation which in my case knocked down the price almost 27% and then when they come to pick up and spend a lot of your time they give an updated valuation which was about 38% less than the original online quote. At that stage, after having wasted so much time I was reluctant to start all over again so just let it go.

Nice interaction very friendly and kept me in the loop with what was going on, no hassle was done within an hour. Money in account within 10 minutes can’t complain

The 2 men who came out were spot on.. its they offered me 3600 after seeing pics of damaged bumper knowing it needed a new one .. the guy In the office then proceeded to tell me actually were now offering 2500 after coming out and seeing it as they didn't actually send the pictures to the valuation team to be valued..

Absoloute waste of time due to someone or people not doing their job properly.. people have different experiences but truly I wouldn't go to this company again and advise others not too aswell!!

Edit:
Partner is in talks today(5/12/24) with a manager from the company to complain and he's even stated how this should not of happened and is looking into it and why.. Will keep updated as day goes on.

So after phonecall of complaint... we got a another phonecall back apologising and saying can offer a higher amount then the 2500 offer.. she has accepted a higher offer of 3000 from them and they apologised again and said how it shouldn't of happened.. (both departments, 2 men from transportation and the man from the sales dep were both spot on and lovely to deal with!)

Transportation have come out today to purchase the car and everything went perfect.. money was instant to her account.

Conclusion:
Is a pretty decent company and all the people have been nothing but perfect I've spoken too other then the person who didn't do original value process properly.. however only human and sometimes things happen but as a company they fixed the problem and everyone is happy..... 5 star now ....

Didn’t honour their offer. Wouldn’t even view the vehicle. Said that they don’t buy vehicles over £50k despite the online valuation.

We had a really great experience selling partner's car with them - after initial scepticism with the simplistic website forms and then getting a callback to continue on the phone, Jacob from the buying team was excellent in getting everything sorted. Collection was also very speedy - Matt who attended was very friendly and quickly got things sorted and full agreed payment was transferred in minutes before the car left here. Thanks!

First of all arrived at the time they said, very warm and friendly guy that took my car for test drive. Straight forward communication with the clients on the phone no confusing talk it all went very good and it didn't take long and had a great deal on my car very happy thankyou we want any car and I would use you again.
