I received a call from a 209 area code and someone asked me if I wanted to sell the car for cash before the towing company picked it up. Might want to get a new towing company to pick up your cars

A great way to help a child
What made my experience so great was, how easy they made it to put an old car to good use. What they do well is they commutate with you very fast and waste no time picking up your car.

Had to dispose of an old car with significant hail damage.
I had a 29 yr old car that I needed to remove from my list of maintenance chores. It sustained significant damage from a recent hailstorm and I wasn't able to sell it as is, so I looked for charitable organizations to donate it to. Wheels for Wishes came up on my internet search and I decided to go with them. The process was straight forward and after the form was filled out, they called to set up a date to come get the car. It was convenient and nearly effortless. Great communication with the towing company and they were punctual as well. I would highly recommend the services of Wheels for Wishes.

First off, thank you so much for your generous donation of your vehicle. Your support means a great deal to us, and we are incredibly grateful for your donation to your local Make-A-Wish Chapter.
At this time I do not have an update for the sale price as your vehicle is still being prepared for auction. I want to assure you that we are actively working on the sale of your vehicle, and we strive to provide transparency throughout this process. However, at this time, I regret to inform you that your vehicle has not yet been sold.
Please rest assured that we are diligently pursuing every avenue to ensure your vehicle finds a suitable buyer at a fair price. Once the sale is completed, we will promptly provide you with the necessary documentation, including the sale price, for your tax records if it sells for more than $500. If it sells for under $500, the preliminary tax receipt which was mailed on 04/16/24 11:47 AM central time is all you need for tax purposes. I have emailed another just now so you have it for your records.
Your patience and understanding during this time are greatly appreciated. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to me directly.

From start to finish
From start to finish, everyone I dealt with was very friendly and helpful. The team is so grateful for the donation and very professional. I am so glad I chose to donate to such a great cause and organization. I would definitely recommend this organization to anyone who is considering on donating your vehicle to a nonprofit organization that supports the cause.

Thank you for the opportunity to make a child's wish come true.
Over the years we have donated 4-5 vehicles to Wheels for Wishes and each time we are filled with a sense of purpose. We are so grateful for the opportuniy to contribute to Wheels for Wishes knowing that we may have helped in making someone's wish come true.

Unfortunately, your vehicle has not sold yet. Sometimes, the processing and selling of donated vehicles can take longer than expected. Rest assured, we are actively working on it. If your vehicle sells for more than $500, you will receive an updated receipt.
I show that a preliminary receipt was emailed to you on April 12, 2024, at 3:21 PM Central Time. I have re-emailed this receipt to you. Please check your junk or spam folders, as sometimes these emails can end up there. The subject line to look for is "Your Car Donation Preliminary Tax Receipt."
