Wheels For Wishes is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit car donation program established to benefit charities such as the local chapters of Make-A-Wish®. Since our founding in 2009, Wheels For Wishes has donated over 50 million dollars to the chapters of Make-A-Wish helping them grant thousands of wishes for children across the country who have been diagnosed with life-threatening medical conditions.

Yes, you should donate your car!
Both the process online and the vehicle pickup were easy. I know a 10 year old girl who recovered from cancer, and whose whole family was then treated to a week in Hawaii by Make A Wish, so I was happy to support this great organization.

A little shady
To many inconsistencies in information exchanged between myself and representatives. I still have not received my tax credit.
Update: Received your reply. Thank you. Improve on process communication because your mission is laudable.

I apologize for any inconsistencies in the information you received and for any inconvenience this may have caused. A tax receipt was originally emailed to you on 03/21/24 at 9:51 AM Central Time. I have re-emailed a new receipt to you today. The subject line is "Your Car Donation Preliminary Tax Receipt." Please check your junk or spam folder if you don't see it in your inbox, as sometimes these emails can get lost there.
Your vehicle sold for $500, and you can deduct this amount as allowed by the IRS from the preliminary tax receipt. We are incredibly grateful for your generous donation to Wheels for Wishes, benefiting your local Make-A-Wish chapter.

Very Easy Process For A Good Cause
The entire process of donating our RV was incredibly easy. When I had a question I called the number listed and got to talk to a real person. Shocking these days! Even the person who was assigned to pick up the RV kept us updated on when he would arrive. Also, when it sold at auction the office promptly notified us of the selling price and sent the tax paperwork within a few days.

From the person on the phone setting up the tow to the tow driver coming to collect the car...was excellent! Such friendly and efficient service, and it all goes to such a great cause!

Easy and efficient experience
Our donation of our car went smoothly. The pick up organizers worked with us to allow pick up when and where I needed it (I was staying at a hotel with a tight schedule before picking up a rental car). They accommodated my schedule (including offering alternative suggestions), were professional, prompt, and clearly communicated with me. All paperwork was completed on arrival. I highly recommend this organization.

Easy and quick
The overall experience was great. My only suggestion is have something for the driver, to prove they’re collecting the vehicles for the foundation.

No hassle!
I chose make a wish because they are my favorite charity. I love that humans that have health, physical, and/or mental challenges should be able to feel free of their daily challenges and experience their once in a lifetime bucket list experience! Thank you make a wish!
