Packing for delivery
Packing for delivery , especially cardboard boxes, has to be done properly. The boxes need to be folded flat and the bottles placed in a air bubble package. Not put the bottles into the actual cardboard boxes , thus damaging them while putting them packaging into bigger boxes, for transit..
Furthermore, if your auction house offered 0% sellers commission, you would get more sellers , selling on your site..just saying as a regular seller..

Lots have a large number of items, specially when are jugs or decantarse
Only two auctions per year looks not appropriate. Might be three or four much better.

Iâve sold through Whisky Auction, but this is my first time buying. Like the selling experiance Iâve had in the past, purchasing a bottle was simple. They are very clear on feeâs you will incur, this allows you put in a maximum bid know what your final cost will be if it was to reach your highest bid.
Once Iâd paid it only took a few days before my bottle was safely delivered, well packed and exactly what was shown on the site.

The whole process is quite simple. Like any other auction you choose what you want to bid on, place your bid and chose an upper limit and then wait. You are given daily updates on the auction lots when you have been outbid and gives you the opportunity to bid again. Should you be lucky enough to win you are told exactly what you need to pay, including commission and P&P. The rest is done for you so sit back and wait for your winning bids to arrive.

Do not like the payment system for sold bottles
Did not like having to chase for payment. But also do not like the fact that Whisky.auction makes more money when payments are late from buyers yet passes none of that penalty to the seller.... and probably earns interest on the sellers 'held' payment.
Working on 5% interest it soon adds up on large sums held.
Also a lot of your competitors do not charge sellers a commission.
