Moving house can be very stressful, but not with Whites
Moving house can be very stressful, Whites gave us good advice for packing up to place all our furniture into storage, the crews who moved us out to storage and then delivered our furniture when our new apartment was completed were kind, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. They all helped make our moves as stress less as possible. Many thanks Dan, Jay and Luke for all your help on Friday.

Our furniture was stored in Jersey before being moved to Plymouth and on to Cornwall. We had the most professional service from start to finish. The Crew in Jersey were always helpful and efficient. Our delivery last week was seamless and made very easy and comfortable by Dan and Jason. Thank you

Professional & Friendly service
I dealt with Andy Adams (Plymouth office) who was very professional and efficient. We had numerous delays that resulted in changing the move date each time but Andy was accommodating on each occasion.
On the actual move day, the load up was handled by Dan Skinner & Steve Weaver. These guys were polite and hardworking, and nothing was too much trouble. They carefully packed our furniture and protected our precious items. They even made the moving of our American style fridge freezer look easy.
Due to a distance of 400 miles between houses the delivery was three days later. Dan & Paul Peters moved us into our new house and they were again, incredible helpful, worked hard and made the whole move simple.
I would highly recommend White & Company.

From the moment we contacted Whites, they were helpful, professional and courteous. The packing team were also professional, friendly and courteous. The actual packing was beautifully done and we had no damage or breakages. We have moved 23 times, so have experience in this!

Used White's Plymouth for house move…
Used White's Plymouth for house move from Devon to Fife. Took out full insurance cover with the company they recommended. In transit, our quality (Sutcliffe) dining room table - part of a 10 piece matching suite - in vgc was badly damaged. £850+20% quoted to repair. Insurance settlement offer was £275. 3 months later and we cannot find even a secondhand suitable replacement for £275.

I have received the file from our Plymouth branch and I note that the repair estimate you provided was less than the insurance value determined by the insurers hence their reluctance to settle the claim for the full amount.
I am sorry that the damage occurred in the first place and that the insurance company declined to settle your claim in full but we are guided by their T & C's within the policies offered.
I have asked our Plymouth manager to contact you and explain in more depth.

Simply The Best
Moving day went smoothly thanks to the guys from White & Company. They arrived on time and worked swiftly to empty my bungalow. Unloading in Cornwall was easier for them as there were no steps. They used floor coverings and were helpful placing my items where I wanted them .
I would also like to give a special mention to Sarah in the office at Lee Mill who was very helpful and understanding at a stressful time .
