Which? - will and power of attorney services  レビュー 

It was too straight forward and easy, £120 for a link? That's basically it.
You fill out the form then send it back. You are told it will take about 10 days to process.
12 days on I am still waiting.
2 stars because I am waiting and there has been no contact.

This was good value for money, had to seek guidance on certain wordings.covered everything we required
Kept us informed by EMail to check we understood correctly certain questions only took approx ten days to return completed mirror wills only negative was We thought binding would have been better

Fairly easy to complete the online questionnaire with some good guidance notes. Was a bit confusing what to do to start partners will but was resolved by a phone call. Telephone support was available and helpful.

My wife and I completed 2 Lasting Power of Attorneys each and found the process simple enough although there was a minor fault on the screen listing the documents. I had a couple of problems and the contact us tab only allowed a message to be sent although we got a satisfactory reply within 2 days. All our LPAs were simple and on reflection I think we could have saved money by doing it all on the government website. I am disappointed that Which didn't make it clearer that you could go directly to the government web site. I know Which say their experts check each document but ours were so simple it wasn't needed.

I am not doing too well on it frankly. I have filled in one form but have no idea what to do next. What I need is an overall map of the steps, for example what happens when I think I have completed one document. It is no clear to me how to progress. I started with four docs on my Home Screen but now just have one - I will send a query on this but it would be nice to speak to someone.

It is unusual for me to write a negative report on a company whom I trust and to whom I belong as a member but unfortunately on this occasion I felt frustrated by Which service.
my wife and I both filled in the power-of-attorney forms as we had been advised to do so and Which advertised at reduction in the cost of checking the forms as well as help only being a phone call away
I noticed other people have written that they have easy access for help but I certainly struggled to get through at all and in fact this was after trying to find the number as none was forthcoming on the site where the form was being filled; eventually I emailed my queries and it took two days for the reply to come through by which time I had already forward the forms to which
when the forms were returned, changes were made by the advising solicitor and the email said that I could modify, print and forward the form to the Office of the public guardian
unfortunately Which had locked the pdf form,
I initially thought it was because I did not have the appropriate PDF software , so I subscribed to Adobe PDF software but I was still unable to change the form because Which had locked it
After a 40 minute wait the phone was answered by a very helpful lady Who managed to unlock the form
I was eventually able to make some changes to allow me to print the form and get it signed
I thought the process would be a lot more comfortable and easier but based on my experience I would advise you to go directly to the guv.uk website and see if you are able to do the form directly without the cost of paying which I certainly did not think it was it worth the support we were given

I was able to get a reduction through the moneyexpert link which swayed my decision to get our wills done. Really straightforward to use and complete online. Feel relieved to have our wills in place and receiving an excellent service which didn't cost the earth.

The software including guidance notes used by Which is very easy to use and excellent to follow. I needed to speak to one of the legal team for advice on a number of issues. It was easy and speedy to get through to them and received very clear and helpful advice that allowed me to complete the LPAs. The whole process gave me peace of mind to complete the LPAs successfully.

I found it easy to understand , if you are hesitant don’t be it is easy to understand

Oddly, since business is business, my Will solicitor did not want to be involved in amending my will ( said it would cost both of us too much time and money!!!!) and advised Which. I hit upon the codicil template for revoking one name to a property and inserting another. And worked perfectly. That's the good news. But for reasons I cant understand deleting an already recently dead beneficiary from a benefits clause and inserting a live one - Which could not do. So, meh....

I feel that Which legal , Wills & POA is doing just what they are criticising others for doing and therefore kettle calling the pot black.

There are two parts to my issues, first is that the government site do virtually the same thing for free, it does mention this in much smaller print on the advert, which seems wrong to me, plus given what “Which” stands for I assumed it would be a lot better than the government site, it is not, this is a simple form that most could do without assistance above what is given on the government site .

Secondly there is no discount for getting 2 pairs of Property & Financial and Health & Welfare

Given that the partner is mirror of the first one, you would expect the second one to be a lot cheaper.
in fact after doing the first Property & Financial POA and getting a little help before passed as ready to register. I then done the next 3 documents which passed with no help. in hindsight if I was going to purchase this product I would only buy one.
I do feel cheated on this deal and not what I would have expected from Which

In response to the reply, which I have just realised that I can. I stand by my comments, registering the documents does take quite a while, but if done wrong the fee is quite small. Also I say again the documents are not very different and once you have done one for say yourself, it is most likely that then doing one for your partner will be the same just changing your name to that of your partner. And again once one document done the next 3 are pretty much the same, as you are likely to want the same people to become your LPA If using Which services, just buy one and if you feel you need more help with the others you are doing then buy more.

Which produces excellent magazines and their on line help on various subjects is first class

I was most impressed. As well as helping me create mirror wills there was plenty of supporting information on alternatives and a good introduction to inheritance tax. The service is worth five stars but it is very difficult to get through on the phone so that cost one star.

The LPA document was well presented with comprehensive explanations where necessary. An excellent way to produce an LPA, especially knowing that there was full 'backup' available should any queries arise (luckily for me it was very straightforward).

Excellent way to arrange our mirror wills and powers of Attorney. Quick, easy and well-explained. A bit pricey but worth it to know it’s all sorted. We trusted it because it’s Which.
