Great range of products, great website, quick delivery

Good quality and price for my plate rack which was delivered well within the time specified from initial order. Very pleased with the finish which matches my kitchen perfectly.

Ordered a mirror and was kept up to date with all delivery information. Looks very nice and will use Windsor brown again. Would definitely recommend.

The item received wasn't the one I ordered so I contacted customer service who suggested I return it for a refund. I simply wanted the item I had bought, however, but it took a few emails to learn that the website had a photo of an out of stock model that was no longer available, and that the company is an offshoot of Melody Maison and seems to sell the same items. Only my polite pressing in numerous emails uncovered the reality of the situation and allowed for a conclusion (I kept the item as it was nice enough, even if it wasn't as nice as the one I'd paid for, and I was finally offered a small discount voucher for the sister companies website). Not the best experience and it could have been handled better by customer services, but the item seems nice quality, was delivered well wrapped and sent out in good time. 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Exceeded my expectations and looks absolutely fabulous in my lounge

An excellent company, the first three items were dispatched quickly and well packaged, as were the next two (I ordered more as they are so good). Excellent quality items, just as described, perfect for my Greek house who's islands symbol is the turtle.

Satisfied with quick delivery; however, I received a different item. The plant pot looks great, it’s a silver hammered metal planter, which is what I wanted. The difference is in shape: one I ordered was slightly shorter with widest point near the middle, and I received a taller one the with widest part being at the bottom of it. I kept it as I liked the quality and desperately needed a pot for the large monstera I bought prior to ordering the planter. The price was the same and I had no time to organise exchange.

I received an email from Windsor Browne asking me for a review, so posted one and they responded as shown below. I emailed them and the customer service was excellent. Chelsi responded in a quick manner, politely explained how the problem arose, apologised and offered a gesture of a goodwill. Great approach to customer, and I appreciate the honesty.

I never leave reviews but this experience warranted one. Firstly, I was charged a £43.35 delivery fee despite what's advertised on the website (ie "Free delivery for UK & Mainland orders over £200). After speaking with support, there's some fine print that says if you have specific post codes you can't get free (or reasonably priced) delivery. I asked the support agent if there was a discount code I could utilize to offset the steep delivery fee, but she just never replied even after I followed up. I decided to order the mirror anyway because the price of the mirror was much more affordable compared to other products I was considering. The delivery of the mirror was unclear & disjointed. I ordered the mirror through Windsor Browne, but 2 days before delivery I received an email from a company called Melody Maison saying that my item would be delivered that Saturday. The email was vague - no order #, no description of what was being delivered, no mention of the delivery company used, no mention of Windsor Browne, or anything at all that I could tie back to my mirror, & the tracking link included brought me to a page that said "unable to track". After looking at Melody Maison's website I assumed it was my Windsor Browne mirror since the website was very similar. On the delivery day, I waited at home for hours without hearing anything from the delivery company (who was still unknown), & without a working tracking link. I called Windsor Browne during their opening hours but no one picked up the phone or called me back, then they closed in the afternoon. I also called Melody Maison and they were "closed on Saturdays". I emailed support for both companies & didn't hear anything back. Finally, the mirror arrived an hour later than the delivery timeframe I was provided with. The mirror itself looked good, although the frame color is a bight gold - not the antique gold that's shown on the website. Lastly, when my husband and I were moving the mirror, the 2 bottom pieces of the mirror popped off. We were shocked how easily they came off but then we saw that the frame is not a single solid piece of wood - there are parts stapled into the frame and therefore come apart easily. You could literally just pull the pieces off with your hands. We hung the mirror and will probably end up painting the frame, but overall the lesson is that you get what you pay for. I recommend to Windsor Browne that they figure out how to provide customers with clear, helpful tracking information when a 3rd party delivery company is used, and that if you're going to be delivery items on the weekend, you need to be available to support customers on the weekends.
