Thank you for your review. I’m sorry to hear the order updates were not as clear as you expected. An Order Confirmation is sent as soon as payment is completed, and a Shipping Confirmation follows once the parcel has been dispatched. Your order status can also be viewed at any time in the Buyer section of your account, where tracking details appear once available.

If these emails didn’t come through, it may be worth checking your junk or spam folder. Please do get in touch with our Client Service Team if you’d like us to look into your order or help with anything further.

Thank you for your review, Peter. I’m sorry to hear the bottle was not as expected. While we can’t guarantee how a wine has been stored prior to consignment, we do assess each lot carefully and would not knowingly offer a bottle that appears to be in poor condition without clearly noting this. Customer feedback is always appreciated and your comments have been passed on. We make every effort to provide clear information on each lot, including in numerous places such as, as mentioned by our Client Service Team, when hovering over the lot, as well as on our fees page. These help bidders identify when shipping and customs fees may apply. While we aim to keep our delivery prices as competitive as possible and are able to outline these in detail on our website, import duties are set by destination countries and remain outside our control. As these charges can vary and change frequently, we are unable to display the exact charge for each lot and it is the buyer’s responsibility to estimate them before bidding. However, any additional customs charges that may apply when shipping an EU lot outside of the EU are unfortunately beyond our control.
