I purchased the 3' Vintner Series Individual Diamond Bin kit last September, and it is finally assembled. The assembly experience was thoroughly disappointing. When the first shipment arrived, several pieces were stuck together, and most of the remaining pieces had noticeable flaws in the finish. It seems to have missed quality control, and the kit was packaged before the finish was dry. It took multiple replacement shipments to get the right pieces with finish quality good enough to use. My woodworking skills are limited, and after hitting a couple assembly dead ends, I hired a friend who does remodeling in multi-million dollar houses. The grids wouldn't fit into the side grooves, so the guide rails had to be pried loose (i.e. break the glue) to allow the grids to fit. In addition, the rails were too long on one of the sides and had to be cut down in place so the side could actually be attached to the top and bottom. To do this in a way that does not damage the finish requires advanced skills. We have no idea how this kit actually made it out your door. Fortunately, the finished product looks good - but it took a lot of custom work to get it assembled. For this kit in particular, you should suggest hiring a finish carpenter or cabinet maker for assembly.

The wine racks purchased from Wine Cellar Innovations were just what our new wine room needed. Every time I open the door, I get the soft scent of unfinished pine. I just want to hang out in there far longer than is practical. They really make my wine room.

My experience was so quick and easy. I was able to custom order, I received it ahead of schedule, and I put it together with no confusion. It is so beautiful and of great quality. I highly recommend Wine Cellar Innovations to everyone!!!

Wine Cellar Innovations has become my go-to for multiple cellar projects. The products are top notch and the customer service even better. When I was trying to design my latest cellar, one of the reps worked with me to pick out the right products and setup like my own personal design consultant! Even helped me order custom heights to ensure I maximized the space!

They were very helpful when I placed my order but when I called back 10 minutes later to cancel because I needed to check my dimensions and reorder later, they would not give me a credit nor send me an acknowledgement that I even called back. I had to dispute with my credit card company...

Working with Wine cellar Innovations was great. They took the time to design the perfect wine rack set up for our Wine cellar. They were able to modify the plan as we made some changes with ease. Louis was very helpful in making suggestions that were greatly appreciated. This include set up and cooling units. The wine racks arrived in perfect condition. We were given samples of the wood with color we selected ahead of time to ensure the exact look we were going for. Definitely

I just completed the assembly of two Vintner Series Wine Rack - Individual Bottle Wine Rack - 2 Columns Top Stack with Lower Display last night. They look great added to my bar. There were three main issues: 1) The instructions were for the top display Vintner racks and my racks are the lower display models so the instructions were of marginal use as I had 4 spacebars and 4 stackable beam supports left over. There was no place to put them on my design which was very confusing at first and I am an avid woodworker. I had to refer back to my purchase order picture to determine the orientation of my racks. 2) All of the spacebars had either wood ridges or extra paint on the cutouts that I had to trim with a razor to get them to sit flush during assembly. 3) The most important part of the build is ensuring the legs are square so the rack stands without teetering. I had to use a framing square and wood clamps as the pre-slotted locations for the spacebars did not always align. This would be a problem for someone without these tools. I used a nail gun for assembly as a hammer and nails would destroy the product.

In all we like the way the racks look and the style is exactly what I wanted. I will apply putty to the visible nail holes and touch up the paint for a finished look. I will consider these racks for our next storage expansion.

Needed a very basic wine rack to store about 100 bottles for aging. After thoroughly searching the internet, I came upon Wine Cellar Innovations. The selection is vast (if you cant find it here, you're not going to find it anywhere else), the products are excellent (ordered a 96 bottle rack in California Redwood!!), and the finished product looks great! Shipping was fast, great customer before and after the sale, and the price could not be beat for what we needed. I will definitely come here again should we need to further expand our collection. I am so proud of my WCI wine cellar. I worked with the design consultant to design the cellar to meet both my wine storage needs, as well as integration of 3D contemporary wine art into the room. The working relationship with the consultant was fantastic and the support from the factory was also exceptional. The construction part of project was very satisfying.

We recently moved into a loft in downtown Minneapolis and we needed a compact storage unit. We previously had a 600 bottle cellar, but with down-sizing, we wanted something closer to 200+ bottles. Two of the cubes were your Vintner Series 3’ Solid Diamond Cube with Face Trim, while the other two back-to-backs where the similar set-up however, I adjusted one of the dado cuts to move the “X” up higher. We did this for variety and not to look cookie cutter. All of these are trimmed up on the 4’ base platform. We used Varithane Red Oak stain and 4 coats of polyurethane. Table top is of made of Suberra, a cork material that comes in both natural and chocolate. Guillermo was great and we really love the final product.

As I had been building a wine collection stored mostly in boxes in a cool room in my basement, I decided my quarantine project at home to keep me busy would be to make a full-on wine cellar with one of my rooms. Wine Cellar Innovations has tons of information on their site on how to start on the project, and it was a lot of fun to clear out the space, insulate it, and get it ready for their racks. The racks themselves were great quality mahogany, and largely assembled. It takes a bit to get the hang of the way they go together, but once you build your first rack, the others go together super easy. They even included an air nailer setup which made it a breeze - I couldn't imagine doing it any other way! They also offer a free design service which I tried (because hey, it's free, why not?), but I wanted to add a bit more complexity to my design, and as you can probably already tell I'm more of a DIY person in that regard anyway, I took on measuring and fitting in components they have available.

Bad Service after sales. We spent about 13k and they refused to replace couple damaged shelving units. I was surprised and shocked to learn that they would not own their mistakes. Beware. Spend your money elsewhere.

This is my 3rd wine cellar designed by Wine Cellar Innovations, great quality and everything fits as designed. I have used other companies and issues always show up upon installation, Not with WCI!

They make the process much easier than you have imagined, and provide multiple options in the design process.

Both via email and phone your sales representatives where very communicative. Once I received my order a few missing parts were quickly shipped. Very competitive pricing.

TERRIBLE customer service with no clue on how to predict a date or follow through with the promised time line. I have a party that is being RUINED by broken promises from this company and shotty workmanship. I wish we had gone with a different company that was actually cheaper! SO SO SO disappointed. If you work with this company expect every predicted time line, even for the designing of your work, to take AT LEAST an extra 10 days, and don't expect them to return your calls like they say they will... My husband and I have done more of the work with the TWO pieces of 8 we planned to purchase than I think the company has for any of it!

The quality of the wood is great, also they have great customer service!

I would highly recommend this company. The design team was great. Customer service excellent and the product is top of the line. It was easy to install and fit within a 1/4 of an inch. It stores 2080 bottles of wine. We couldn’t be more pleased and are enjoying our new wine cellar. Jan C.

very low quality... disappointed

I bought a new house in South Jersey two years ago and had an unfinished basement as a blank canvass. I gave WCI my dimensions and they helped me design the perfect 1000 bottle cellar. I chose unfinished mahogany and it arrived in excellent condition. The racks were easy to put together, customer service was great about replacing a few pieces and in one full day we had this. I'm very happy and highly recommend them.
