Great website and choices

Looking for ideas and samples and Worktop Hub had an easy website to look through. Great the customer can have samples sent before they buy. Great variety to choose from.

Don't believe the estimated delivery schedule

Website encourages rapid ordering and suggests delivery within a week. The 50% off sale repeats - so don't rush. No order number was sent automatically, so i phoned to check delivery schedule - told it would be ~ a month! Person was on holiday for a few days, supplier does not have the glass size in stock, then has to process the order. They said they would refund in full.

Our website provides estimated delivery times based on typical supply and demand, but for specialist items such as bespoke glass panels, availability can vary depending on the manufacturer’s stock levels. In this case, the supplier did not have your required size immediately available, which naturally extended the lead time. We can only proceed once the manufacturer confirms stock and production slots, so we aim to be transparent as soon as this information becomes available.

Regarding the order confirmation, an email is automatically generated at checkout, so we’re sorry if this didn’t reach your inbox — this is usually due to spam filtering or a mistyped email address. We were glad you contacted us so we could clarify the situation promptly.

As discussed, you were offered a full refund straight away, as we completely understand that the revised time frame may not have suited your project.

We appreciate your comments and will continue working to improve clarity around lead times and supplier-dependent items. If there’s anything more we can help with, please let us know.

Unsatisfactory Experience

We ordered online and at checkout were advised of delivery cost being £39.95, and subsequently paid. The next day we received a text stating we had to pay an additional £40 for our delivery.
Customer services were not very helpful, and advised refund can take up to 8 days! They couldn't even process the refund themselves or even say it would be done today! All they wanted to do was get me off the phone! Glad we didn't end up using them in the end as if there was a problem with our order feel that having any form of positive resolution very unlikely.

We’re very sorry for the inconvenience you experienced. Unfortunately, your order slipped through our automated shipping checks, and because your delivery location falls into a zone with a slightly higher courier rate, the additional £40 charge had to be applied in order to proceed with the delivery. You were given the option to cancel the order, and we completely understand how frustrating this situation can be.

These rare issues do happen from time to time, and we’re actively working to improve our online systems to prevent this from happening in the future. We truly appreciate your feedback and your understanding.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! I ordered 2 standard worktops and a breakfast bar which when delivered seemed fine, but on starting to cut the breakfast bar it was apparent there was a major fault with the laminate not being glued down correctly and cracking and splitting on the first cut. It took all day backwards and forwards, sending photos, emails and calls to Luke, whilst having our joiner standing around all day at our cost, and being told not to cut into the standard worktops just in case they had the same issue. Finally around 3pm they finally admitted there was an issue and arranged to collect the breakfast bar and send out another one. Guess what!! It was delivered and the same thing was wrong with this piece too which was visibly apparent as soon as it was lifted off the delivery truck. Again our joiner was here to take the delivery in and at our cost again!!! On the third attempt the breakfast bar was delivered, glued down but had 2 small chips which we were too worn down to even query as we needed it fitted before Christmas. We have filled out a claim form sent to us by Luke and have spoken to him and emailed on many occasions but have still not had a resolution/refund for our out of pocket expenses.
