Dangerous delivery methods - beware

This company use a series of subcontractors to deliver. They use a single person delivery system so you have to help unload heavy items. During my delivery, the driver dropped his end of the 3m worktop badly injuring my leg. He did not apologise and he did not even check the worktop for damage. The company response to my injury was slow.

Constant lies about delivery dates

After being offered a delivery date, and staying in with a paid helper as they do kerb only (odd) they said it wasn't put on the van that morning. Next delivery date after a few days was cancelled because the worktop hasn't left the warehouse. Next delivery date was over a week beyond that. Not once was I contacted by the delivery people which means to me that they had no idea I had a delivery in the first place. Odd that when I made a complaint I was given the new delivery within 5 mins and every time it was just a lie. Would not recommend this company (Worktop express managed the same order within 2 days and they deliver to the room not just the kerb). Very disappointing company.

Good deals, be careful of delivery issues

Deal on worktop was good, however delivery information is very vague on the website. For worktops its kerbside only, requiring 1-2 able bodied persons to move this into the house according to the email received and delivery would be any time between 6am and 7pm. Company said that the delivery drivers are 'usually good' but couldn't guarantee that they would move this into the property/garage. For a delivery fee of £39.95, this seems poor. Due to own circumstances, I had to cancel the order.

Poor service

At present my experience with this company is not good.I had samples sent me while the sales were on in January ,I placed an order and received a date on the 14 January by text and email to be told I will not be receiving my work top as they are coming from another supplier and re reschedule my delivery date to the 21st January .i had to contact them today Monday 20th January because I had not received a time slot and email and was told at 4.50 at the end of the day they were damaged and a new delivery date would be 27-28 January.
I believe they had no intention to honour the dates they said basically they have none in stock in the sales while they were taking orders and holding on to everyone money until they get stock in at the end of the month ,if they do.
At present this company has lost me money in work and inconvenience.i will keep you up to date !
