The level of gaslighting is unbelievable. I made an order and they delivered an incomplete package to me. I sent an email, no response, sent a message via their official WhatsApp page, no reply made calls via WhatsApp no answer. They are still to even acknowledge my complaint after taking my money. Customer service doesn’t exist with them, hopefully you will be lucky not to have any missing item because NOBODY will respond to you if you do.

Shopping in-store at Wosiwosi is an enjoyable experience for me. The store is clean, well-organized, and stocked with a wide variety of fresh and authentic African foods. They are very helpful in answering your question and making suggestions where needed. They are always on time with their delivery set as well. So happy I found Wosiwosi! Before them, I had an unpleasant experience finding a reliable, high-quality, and affordable African food store in my area. The vegetable (ugwu leaves) that I ordered are literally farm-fresh, and the assorted meat and catfish were properly cleaned and packed with ice to keep them fresh. Big shoutout to the team for always being polite, responsive and helpful. Highly recommended!

I’ve just received my packages, neatly packed and all items still fresh and frozen. I was worried at some point about the delivery driver but the customer service staff Lara really responded quickly and the delivery went smoothly. Wosiwosi really makes me feel at home.

In November, I purchased four crates of Amstel Malta from Wosiwosi. Unfortunately, they delivered products with a short expiry date of 02/12/2024 without any prior notice. After I raised a complaint, Wosiwosi collected the products but refused to issue a refund. They keep claiming that the refund has been processed, yet I have not received any money. Their customer service is very poor, and communication has been lacking. This has been the worst experience I've had with an online food store.

I ordered over £100 of meat. I have never had any issues with other online stores and wosi wosi’s reviews are good. 3days after paying for my order , I sent an email chasing up my order.(Wednesday )At about 16:46 I received a message that my order was with DHL.
The next day( Thursday) I got a message that my Parcel was delayed. I called Wosi Wozi and I think Laroche told me that she would sort it with DHL. The Friday I got another message that my parcel is still delayed. It is a known fact that Bacteria starts to grow 2 hours after removing meat from refrigerator. laroche told me that they did not pack with ice as they only use ice in summer. She mentioned it was in a cooler box. Please note I received the meat 3 days later and refused to accept the delivery. I can not freeze meat that was in transit for 3 days with no refrigerator. I do not want to be responsible for sending 3 families to A and E on Christmas day. After reaching out several times, I have still not had a response. According to terms and conditions of Wosi Wosi, if the courier is unable to deliver and the meat goes bad because the customer is not available, they will NOT refund. But what about if they send you rotten meat, you cook it and send many people to A and E??? Who takes responsibility for that??? I have emails to prove all of this , as well as my call register will show I called Wosi Wosi. I believe my refund is due. DHL failed to comply and should compensate wosi wosi and I should be reimbursed for my hard earned money as I still have people to feed. I am NOT asking for something for free or begging for something I didn’t work for. This is my money. Can you please , please process my refund

They were superb the products i ordered came fresh and arrived in 2 days time quicker than expected. would highly recommend.

On the 7th of June 2023 I ordered some items. Wosiwosi called me to inform me that some of the items I ordered for, weren't available and they will refund me. They did a partial refund I have called them more than 10times to inform them not all d missing items were refunded for. They have ignored me. Customer services is bad and deserves zero star

They sent me Rotten food. When I emailed them about it, they apologised and promised that they’d refund the price for the bad food. No the didn’t. I chased, nothing. Asked them on SocMed and they blocked me. Urgh. The search for a decent African food store continues. I wish I could add photos on Trust Pilot.

This is the 3rd time I have ordered from this company. Honestly, although customer service is great. You can get to speak to them, the products is below par!
Highly disappointed! The goat meat I ordered this time round was not goat meat but LAMB passed for goat. It was uphazardly cut. Large in sizes. When I saw it, i recognised it immediately as lamb. Then I accidently overcooked the meat, it cooked too quickly and was too tender.

The 2nd order online, the Ugwu was not fresh it had rotten. They tried not to refund me, I had to insist. It has been a difficult ordering online experience. There has always been something wrong. I gave 1* for packaging the meat securely. But 1 pack came unopened.

Too much packaging. I spend almost 10mins breaking down the packaging. You don't need a massive cooler box for just 2 small packs of meat.

Delivery too expensive. Reducing packaging, reduce postage.

I won't be using this company anymore. I have found a cheaper, fresher African shop for fresh priced items.

very expensive items , Plantain was over ripe and they advise items them do not have in stock. NEVER AGAIN

They brought all goods in good condition and the yam flour they didn't bring, was brought today, the way the frozen meats was packed was amazing,with two bags of ice on it and it remain fresh when I opened it. Special thanks to Mr Femi who took my issues upon himself to see to it.
