20cm Wusthof chefs knifeâŠ
Having had my 20cm Wusthof chefs knife for several years now, I had selected it carefully never dreaming I would ever need another. However, my wife managed to drop it onto the worktop whilst removing it from the block and broke it in two!
This caused much consternation... I emailed Wusthof with the slight chance it might be under warranty and I'm overjoyed to say I received a replacement free of charge. Many thanks to Amy, Holly and Guido whom I dealt with.

A lifetime warranty that means something
After much use, my 20 year old chef's knife developed a crack in the handle and partially fell off. I emailed customer service to see if it was repairable (expecting to have to pay for it) - sadly it wasn't, but instead they have honoured the lifetime warranty on the knife (which I forgot it had and have pretty scant documentation for) and sent me a replacement at no cost! Amazing service and confidence in their products - I look forward to another 20+ years of chopping ahead.

After my knife unexpectedly dropped k the floor and snapped in two the company were extremely helpful and agreed to send me a new one.

Missing itemsâŠ
Wusthof as a brand and quality is great. Customer service, shocking.
I placed an order for a knife on 28 August 2025. It was estimated that shipping would take 2 working days.
10 working days later, I still haven't received my order.
Royal Mail indicates I have to contact the seller as the item is missing. After numerous emails to Wusthof, and failed phone calls (to Germany as that is the only number I can find online), I still haven't received any promise of when I will receive my item.
Absolutely love my double serratedâŠ
Absolutely love my double serrated bread knife. Glides through bread no matter how tough the crust and does not arc into (or out of if youâre left handed) the bread like single serrated knives do! And then it snapped - clean in half - after 3 years whilst in use. Must have been some issue with the original forging but those helpful people at WÃŒsthof replaced it, no questions asked (well apart from proof of purchase and pics). Blooming marvellous- thank you Wusthof.

I had a knife which broke due to an unnoticed crack in the blade, and a year later Wusthof honoured their lifetime warranty, shipping a replacement knife. Outstanding customer service. I wonât go into the quality of their productsâanyone who knows anything about knives already knows how good they are. I recently had to contact their customer service (both EU and UK, since I bought the knife in Italy but now live in the UK) regarding their lifetime warranty policy, and I couldnât be more satisfied. I received a fantastic response from WÃŒsthof when reported damage to the handles of two 'Classic' kitchen knives, both of which are over 20 years old. Both knives were replaced quickly and without any fuss. Not only are these very high quality knives, but it is great to find a lifetime guarantee that means what it says.

Always loved our knives. We bought a block about 11 years ago and one of the knives handles broke. I wrote to Wusthof to see if I could get the handle repaired. I didn't know they came with a lifetime guarantee. They sorted a brand new knife out to me and it arrive 2 days later in the post. Amazing knives and amazing service.
