The results indicated a 'half-sibling'. That is totally FALSE. There has never been a half-sibling in my family!

They’re deceiving me. I paid for the test and I’ve been waiting for the results for three months now. I’m not getting any messages. Support isn’t responding and doesn’t want to answer when the test results will be available.

I couldn’t login and just got nonsense emails from customer services.

This company does not offer refunds. Not understanding and flexible at all. I had canceled the membership when I received my results so that I wouldn't be charged the recurring membership fee. It apparently did not get submitted because I was just charged another annual membership fee, not cheap I might add. I told the customer service what happened that there was a technical issue ok their end that my cancelation wasn't received and requested a refund. I asked twice and they refused. Probably the only way they aren't filing for bankruptcy again, stealing people's money. Beware.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with 23andMe. I paid nearly $200 expecting access to my complete DNA report, but I have been unable to log into my account to view the full results.

The only information I have been able to see is a basic ethnicity estimate, which is nowhere near what I paid for. I expected access to all the reports and features included with my purchase,

but instead I have been locked out of my own account.

For a company handling something as important as genetic information, I expected a much better user experience and reliable customer support. Spending this much money and then being unable to access my own results is unacceptable.

Until this issue is resolved, I cannot recommend 23andMe to anyone. I feel like I paid for a service that I have not received.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY… 10 WEEKS STILL NO RESULTS, COMMUNICATION IS NON EXISTENT UNLESS YOU WANT TO USE AI AND THEN USELESS. I HAVE EVEN CALLED HEAD OFFICE IN CALIFORNIA COST ME £42 FOR 13 MINUTES PROMISED UPDATE … NEVER RECEIVED !!! STILL WAITING 27/7/26 LETS SEE HOW LONG BEFORE THEY ACTUALLY WAKE UP AND RESPOND DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY !!! Go to Ancestry far better reviews and at least they care enough to treat their customers with respect !! Pity not a UK business but unfortunately it’s all AMERICAN labs and they don’t give a toss !!!!

I recently had problems signing in so had to change my password and now just a few days later using that password on my laptop and it says it doesn't recognise it! I tried the same password on my phone and it sort of worked and said it would send a code to my email to to verify it but it didn't. I asked to send the code again and again but didn't send. I tried again on my laptop now it says im locked out for excessive use of the wrong password!!!

Once in the site its really good just getting in there in the first place.

I feel scammed
We got ours from the FSA shop that we pay into. I was always told 23 and me was for ancestry and I thought that's what we were getting. Waited a couple weeks and it's just a health thing that tells us nothing honestly, I have a doctor for health. All we really wanted was to know our background ancestry but got scammed $600 for 4 kits. Absolute BS.

Incredible experience.

I sent my sample in and realized I entered a wrong email, so contacted customer service and it's been 4 days and they tell me they don't have my kit, I sent it back in there box they send you. The customer service is really bad, they send back the same email write your response above, after spending 100. For the kit I think their service is very bad, if this is bad can't imagine if the test results are real. Don't waste your money.

I love the updates (good and not so good ones) I can’t believe I have so many relatives! I contribute by staying current with the surveys and hope they truly help.

They sent me an email saying that I had a free health report that was only available for a limited time. When I signed in, there was not a free report. Only an upgrade for which you had to pay.

So I just wanna make people aware that the process and using this has been absolutely atrocious. It has been a nightmare. We began this process around February began to get help from the specialist team in March and still have not received any word back. We’ve been having to jump through hoop after hoop just to receive our samples. We have still yet to receive our samples. I have called every week and sent an email every other day and they have still yet to help us. I would honestly highly not recommend going through 23 and me for anybody.

Very interesting results. I got it for my daughter. She has family everywhere.

Now requires insanely long and convoluted passwords to login. Keeps rejecting every password I proposed, and then locked me out. What a garbage customer experience. This isn’t Fort Knox, guys. Tell the idiots who run your website to make it more user friendly.
