i HAVE ALWAYS FOUND 3000RPM STAFF VERY HELPFUL AND WILLING TO DISCUSS ANY PROBLEMS.
SERVICE IS ALWAYS VERY GOOD.

Handed my computer in with a non-boot up fault thinking it would cost a lot to fix.

Got a phone call to say it was not a serious issue wrong with the computer after all and he would only charge the £20 diagnostics fee.

I really appreciated the honesty of the engineer as he could have charged what he wanted as I am totally ignorant with computers.

Put pc in for a clean. Got it back earlier than stated. Well pleased great job.

Brilliant service. Put xbox one S in for disc drive repair and got it back in 2 days. Great price for repair and staff were super friendly and helpful. Will defo use the repair service again.

Quite possibly one of the worst experiences I've ever had.

I took my motherboard for my laptop to 3000rpm to have some ports replaced. The laptop was working fine, and the ports also worked (USB), with the exception of the audio jack. I took my motherboard there in good faith hoping they could replace the audio port and the usb ports as they looked a bit shabby.

A couple of days later I got a message saying it had been fixed and it was ready to pickup. Once I got the board home, I put it back into the laptop and got ready to use it again, but uh-oh, it won't turn on suddenly... So I drive 30+ miles to the shop and explain to them, look I've hooked everything back up and now the laptop won't power on? Any ideas?

I'm met with a blank expression, and then the member of staff takes the laptop back to Yansen (who did the work) to see what's wrong. After waiting a good 15 minutes, he returns and says yeah the motherboard is fried. I ask how this is possible? And am I covered? He tells me that it's not anything they have done, and points to the repaired usb port and audio port with this empty look on his face. I ask what exactly is wrong with it then? As it worked before I took it to the shop. He tells me that it's shorted somewhere? It can't possible be their fault, but it must have been me putting it back together. I ask him where is the fault of me putting it together? He cannot tell me this, he can't tell me anything really, other than that it is apparently 'fried' but it is not his fault.

At this point he goes back again to Yansen, I wait ten minutes and he comes back again and with the same empty look on his face goes yeah... It's fried. At this point I am a little bit taken back as I took this here in good faith, having used the shop before, and thought it was a reliable company...

The guy then pushes the laptop towards me as if to say yeah it's not our problem it's your problem. Still not telling me exactly what's wrong with it. It was very difficult to remain calm at this moment, but there's not a lot you can do in these situations, except learn from them. I asked for my receipt and I left.

I would advise anybody taking anything of value to this shop, to think again. If you value your property, I would not risk 3000rpm trying to repair it.

I was treated like I was a fool that didn't understand, I have repaired numerous computers over the years, I could have done the usb ports myself but I chose not to as I don't I am not that great at soldering and didn't want to 'experiment' on my own laptop as it was too much money to lose if it went wrong.

It took a lot to lot to remain calm in a situation like this. Unfortunately, other than reporting this company to trading standards, there isn't much more I can do. But for anyone reading this, I would really think twice before taking anything precious of yours to this company.

This business is very efficient and helpful. The staff member grasped the problem immediately and advised that I could upgrade my badly under-memoried laptop but, like me, he wasn't sure whether there were two slots. I was quoted about £50 for adding 4 Gb on the assumption that there were in fact two slots. OK, probably quite reasonable with fitting. As it transpired, there was only one slot and the new price was £90 for replacing 1x4 with 1x8. I think this is a fair bit on the high side, but bit the bullet regardless. (It is only fair to say that I have had ransomeware removal (disk reformatting) done by this company at a very reasonable price, so I'm fairly happy that one has balanced out the other.)

Sent my PS4 in for repairs. Months went by with messages not being answered. Finally got told my PS4 wasn’t repairable and they would send it back, with charges. I got them to waiver the charges and again, months went by with nothing. Last time I talked to them they had my PS4 for 7 months. That was December 2016 and I’ve still not received my PS4 back.

Fast and efficient service at a reasonable price

Took my iPad in early morning, sorted by 3pm. The chap was so helpful and great to deal with. All sorted and very happy with the price and service.

Quick and well priced Apple Macbook keyboard repair, no fuss, no drama an excellent job, well recommended.

First time I Have used 3000rpm although a friend
took a lap top of mine in last year Sadly the laptop was condemned
The service I received was second to none and the gentleman who helped & uplifted/ re-delivered my equipment with the problem resolved was extremely friendly and courteous
I shall certainly be using 3000rpm in future if I encounter any problems

Very efficient, reliable and helpful: a thoroughly professional service.

All the staff and especially Callum were incredibly helpful, kind and knowlegable in fixing my grandson's PS4. We had travelled through from Perth by train two days running (arrived too late the first time).
They understood our plight, and that we would have trouble getting back in the middle of the week so they fixed the problem there and then. Cannot praise 3000 RPM enough,
We are now back in Perth with a working PS4 and a very happy Minecrafter! :))

I always find 3000rpm very helpful and efficient. Same again this time. - quick to come back with an appropriate answer to my tablet problem. This time, instead of a repair, they returned a verdict that the condition was fatal, incurable. When condition is curable, they are excellent.

On taking my Laptop in and discussing the problem , the technician that I spoke with was very professional informing me that I would get my machine back within a couple of days and gave me an estimated price which.

The problems has been fixed to my satisfaction.

So my External Hard Drive with my life on it had decided to just stop opening. 3000rpm were honest, after a quick diagnosis confirmed that disk had corrupt sectors and could not guarantee what was saveable. I wanted to go ahead anyway... my boys history in photos was on there and i needed to try. Totally understanding and considerate but i was under no illusion it could be saved. We worked out a plan of action and an agreed price but no unrealistic guarantees. I left that day knowing I may have lost everything but knew they would do what they could to try and recover my files and photos. They saved loads. I am not entirely sure what I lost but what was most important is there. I know success is perhaps not the same in everyone’s case but even if the result hadn’t been in my favour the staff at 3000rpm couldn't have been more understanding, helpful or honest. They made me no unrealistic promises and i knew exactly what I was paying. Plus advice on storing files etc for the future. Definitely recommend.
