Poor customer service, disappointing experience overall. Definitely don’t recommend at all.
Unprofessional from the day blinds were measured, to the day someone came to fit the blinds without big enough ladders and equipment, to communication and a don’t give a stuff attitude.
Stay clear. Luckily I need all my house done but wanted to see how A1 blinds were first. Definitely won’t be using them again!!!

Great service from start to finish. I used the offer that was 4 vertical blinds for £99.00. This was for any size windows but on certain blinds. Really nice staff very professional and respectful. Measured up and blinds were fitted 1 week later. Very little mess made as the man cleaned up after himself. Lovely quality blinds.

After giving me the price for the Blinds, in fairness your estimator, did say " when I get back, I will see if we can reduce the price". Fast forward 3 days no contact was made by your company. Either you have too many orders, or you don't give care about running a professional company.
What ever the reason, you lost an order, through your staff's incompidence.
Thank God I did not get you to fit my Blinds

(EDIT A1 BLINDS- ELLIOTT 10/10 , DH1) Booked an appointment online for my 85 year old fairly frail mother to see samples and measure for 3 vertical blinds . She has wood venetians ATM but because of her arthritis she can't manage to pull the living room and bedroom ones up anymore.
Given 8am -12 pm but I called and explained that she isn't usually up and about until 9.30-10.
Given 12-4 and told agent would text 30 mins before. I wanted to be there as she's not good at making decisions ( there's different colours, widths, quality and patterns) and one window is a floor to ceiling and she needs 2 independently controlled blinds.
Text arrived at 11.20 saying he would be there in 20 mins. I called my mother and said I'd be there ASAP, but we live 25 mins away .
I get a call from my mother at 11.40 asking if I'm coming because he's measured and ready to leave! She asked the agent if he could wait and I heard him say " No"
I told her to tell him he wasn't supposed to be there until 12 pm , at which he said he would wait till 12 pm so I told her to tell him to go and we'd make another appointment. Had no intention of doing so with customer service like that.
2 days later A1 called and my husband explained what had happened . She told him "well they can't be at one house for 4 hours you know"
So they've lost about £400 of business based on the price he gave for the better quality blinds, but as she'd said she didn't want to see all the fabrics and colours because she wouldn't be able to make her mind up , it could have been more £. Guess we'll never know.
We used them about 6 years ago for be full house wood venetian blinds and they were great. Won't be getting our business this time or any other time.
Shamefully poor customer service .

Bought roller blinds for kitchen and living room excellent service no problems at all however bought two blackout blinds for bedrooms nothing but problems first two blinds had holes in second attempt cut too short in one bedroom had to be replaced, other bedroom second attempt another damaged noticed by fitter had to be replaced no offer of reduction in price date of experience was when the job actually finished just to say however the fitter was great.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but felt my negative experience today warrants this review.
I have a holiday home in Northumberland and requested an appointment. I was advised that this area only offers a Wednesday appointment and they couldn’t give me a time frame. It could be any time between 8am & 4pm, but I would get a call 30 mins before, so I could ensure someone was at the property.
Unfortunately, I didn’t receive this call. Instead I got a call from the office to say an agent was at my property but nobody was in and they had to leave.
I explained about the 30 minutes notice I was supposed to receive, but by now the agent had left my property, and wasn’t prepared to come back any time that day.
Long story short I travelled 50 miles for this appointment and took a day off work for nothing.
Avoid at all costs, unless you have bags of time to sit around at home all day waiting for them to show up.
Unfortunately your verbal apology doesn’t cut it on this occasion.

I would highly recommend this company, they were extremely competitive in price and the blinds were a high standard of quality. The guy that came out to fit them, was very professional, friendly and helpful. He did an amazing job and deserves recognition for his work! Well done! and a huge thank you.

I had blinds fitted in my conservatory and kitchen this morning by Daniel and Gary from A1 Blinds - not only were the blinds excellent - the guys were so friendly and professional. From start to finish A1 Blinds have been excellent and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends and family - :-)

This is the third time we've used A1 Blinds. Wouldn't use anyone else. 5 blinds manufactured and fitted in less than a fortnight. Great value, super quality products (again), and always great customer service. The fitters are professional, friendly, helpful and work cleanly - nothing was a problem for them - thank you Andrew and Nick. A great job !!!!

Excellent service from start to finish. Measuring and quote given for our new build property. Showroom staff were knowledgeable and helpful. Range of styles chosen and windows re-measured. Order placed and delivery and fitting arranged. Fitters were brilliant..super fast, no mess and saved us a lot of hassle. Highly recommend.

Ordered over £1k worth of blinds. Told 40%discount in shop, then 20% when quote came- 11 blinds...fitter come (after 3 weeks wait) and only 1 blind fit..10 blinds measured wrong. Fitter said not 1st time this has happened/maybe hungover!? Dust/mess left. Terrible company. Manager offered no compensation.
Want refund..but got to write to head office..total joke company. Avoid at all costs.

Really happy with the service i received. Measuring appointment turned up on date arranged with a text confirmation the day before and a text warning 30 mins ahead of the arrival time as i had explained i’m not living in the property yet. Fitting arranged for the following week - again i got a phone call 30 mins before fitter arrived as promised. Both chaps were very polite & removed their shoes before coming in without being asked. Fast, clean & tidy, hassle-free & a friendly service. Highly recommend! Thanks A1

If you don’t want to clean up a mess then do not use this company!!
Dust left everywhere, a mess in the sink and all the window seals were stained !
I did not even get a response from the complaint and photos I emailed the manager.

Fantastic service and beautiful blinds. I ordered white wood blinds with tapes that were fitted yesterday for the whole house. Great communication throughout the whole process and really happy with everything.

I have had shutters fitted in my bay window today and they look amazing. The fitters were very polite and very kindly just got on with the job whilst I worked from home. Very pleased with the end result and will definitely go back to them for more as I decorate the other rooms in thr house.

Fantastic service! Ordered 5 sets of wooden blinds, anticipated delivery in around 4-6 weeks and they arrived in 3! Result 👍🏻 Placed our order in the Forest Hall store and the customer service was great ⭐️ the fitter was also efficient and friendly ⭐️

We’ve recently moved into a new build home and used A1 blinds to fit our whole house with wooden venetian blinds. Not only are the blinds great quality but our fitter, Andrew Young, did a fantastic job. He was prompt and professional, clearly knew what he was doing as well as being friendly and chatty. He came back days later to replace the pelmet on our kitchen patio doors even though it was not faulty, just because he thought it would look better. Not only that, weeks later we decided to add in a roller blind to our main bedroom. A different fitter came this time and did not fit the blind correctly, leaving several holes in our new walls. However, despite this, Andrew came back to fix the issue, again adopting a professional approach to the job and ensuring our blind was fitted to the same high standard that he did with our wooden venetians. We’re delighted with the results, would 100% reccomend. Andrew is a real credit to the company. Thanks so much.
