NEVER SIGN UP!! free trial is a LIE! they charged you right away and will not give your money back. They said they dont issue refund. The site is not a user friendly for kids. There are other better site and cheaper. this one is a scammer

Avoid!!! signed up for the 30 day free trial yesterday , and it said "don't worry no payment will be taken until the 30days are up". Checked my bank this morning and the have taken 2payments. I have tried to contact them with no success. Really annoyed as wanted to see if it was suitable for my children before I signed up. I have emailed them demanding my money back but waiting to hear back. I have cancelled it through the site but it is saying that the services with remain active until July as I have paid upto them.... Total scam as I made sure to sign up for 30day trial.

Like others, I have found that money has been deducted from my PayPal account.

I am very good at remembering not to be charged for subscriptions.

Very odd how it happened.

I don't even have children to make use of this.

Someone sent me one of those free voucher links and one of the deals was to sign up to this site.

I didn't even input my card details, but somehow they have got into my PayPal - without my knowledge.

Yes, it is $9.99, but I am irritated by this as it was not stated on the terms and conditions that this money would be deducted.

Not happy. Time spent away from doing productive work.

Fraudulent payment practice , stated free trial yet charged my card straight away, now hassle to get my money back

Update: after I sent them email and disputed payment on PayPal, they refunded my money.do not forget to cancel pre approved payment on PayPal with them otherwise they ll take money every month

ABC mouse is a fraud. I cancelled my subscription on the app and just notice they have been charging my credit card for 11 months. When I tried to contact them, they gave me three different reasons for this happening but refuses to help me bu quoting fraud. and my only option now is to cancel my credit card! I wish I read the other reviews. Please beware

We contacted ABC Mouse last year (2018) because we started getting charged again for an unused account with no notification. ABC Mouse refused to issue a credit and also refused to assist us with logging in so we could delete our data. They did it again this year (2019), the difference being that this time they were fully aware that we did not purchase their service, did not want their service and that we explicitly requested our information be deleted from their database. In the end, given my experience, it's become my opinion that ABC Mouse has adopted fraudulent billing practices.

Best advice: do not give this company any personal information.

Website is slow. And after six months of a subscription, I feel it did not help my child learn how to read. Plus it teaches evolution as a fact to young children, and the parent does not get to pick the lessons or order of lessons or even the subject of the lessons.

When I have set up a reading lesson and walked away, when I get back the lesson is unrelated to learning how to read and rather it is a coloring page or another time wasting/non-learning activity. Or the lesson has turned into a book that is going on about evolution and the age of the earth when I have set up the program to just teach letter sounds.

There is almost no parent control unless you are literally sitting next to your child. If I want my child to learn sight words, I can search "sight words" in the search box and choose a sight word lesson. But then that lesson is literally only 60 seconds long and I have to immediately choose another lesson. I can't just set up the program to keep working through sight word activities.

Most of the time, the program is just songs and coloring activities. I have had much better success (with a child learning how to read) with another program I used for my older child, but because of the ABC mouse advertising, I tried this one thinking it would be competitive, but that hasn't been the case.

So I have had this program for a couple years for my son who is now 5 years old. The program is very glitchy, and I have had to contact them many times to fix. Most of the answers are that it doesn't work well on this device, or this and that server. It is VERY tiresome. However, I had gotten my child as far as I could by myself, he was pretty advanced, and I am no teacher. I wouldn't say you get the results that they advertise on their commercials, but my son definitely has learned from it. The "Path" is the educational part and it becomes boring and like work, so I do have to force him to get through one path a day and it is like pulling teeth! I do not know of any other site that is better and soon he will start Kindergarten and will have a base to build on.

I really do not like or dislike this program. We use the apple app. I find the app is glitchy, doesn't give tickets for completed work, app says certain things aren't available. I only pay the monthly fee, because my son enjoys playing with the hamster cage and the bedroom, that he gets from collecting tickets. He occasionally will grab the iPad and do some of the educational parts. All and all he gets bored real quick with this.

I guess it would be good for a parent with preschool kids or younger. I think the younger kids will like the cute songs, and the other stuff they offer. I have been a subscriber for at least a year, and in that year they have raised the cost to their monthly paying members, stating their program was worth more. Maybe it is worth it too some people, but for me I do not find enough helpful material.

I wish They Would offer a section for special needs kids.....
