Trash. After 20 min it Say the sensor was out of date. Not possibel to connect again. A big mistake to buy this thrash

Device worked for a couple of days and then stopped sending data. As with so many other customers reviews here. Contacted Accu Check for a replacement and they just keep requesting a long list of irrelevant information, clearly making a claim as intentionally difficult as possible. Companies like this deserve to lose all their business. Buy Abott Libre instead, cheaper, smaller and better.

Worked for 3 days and data was sent to My sgr app but
afterwards....no data sent. Reading displays only on meter..sometimes but quite often get error 6. Can only set date/time on meter....no other options. My old meter
worked flawlessly for 10years and gave perfect results
every time. ( why did they change ? )

Terrible design. Pure waste and zero user forgiveness.

The Accu-Chek lancing system is engineered in a way that once you insert a lancet and pull it out, even if it was NEVER used, the device permanently blocks you from reinserting it. One tiny mistake and a perfectly sterile lancet becomes useless trash.

It’s Sunday, pharmacies are closed, and because of this brain-dead design I can’t even measure my glucose. That’s not safety. That’s bad engineering.

They hide behind ‘hygiene’ while forcing unnecessary waste and repeat purchases. Any competent design would allow reinsertion if the lancet was not fired or used. Instead, Accu-Chek punishes users for the smallest handling error.

This isn’t user-friendly, it’s consumable-friendly. It’s built to sell more needles, not to help patients.

For a medical device company under Roche, this is embarrassing. Overpriced, inflexible, and hostile to real-world use. Choose a brand that respects basic usability.

Error, error, error. Wasted 3 strips today without getting a number. This happens far too often. These devices are pathetic. We bought a 2nd glucometer thinking we got a bad one. Now we have TWO bad ones!!

Bought this at my local boots store last week. it worked for 2 readings. since then shows error every time. Utter shite and a complete scam.Damn Accu -Chek to hell. These criminals exploit sick people

I paid £24 for the kit but it doesn't contain test solution so if you buy one you can't use it immediately. The test strips and the needles cost nearly £30 to purchase which is more than the original pack. You will find multiple errors with testing in all areas. I would describe the experience of using this item as disappointing but a good moneymaker for accuchek . Don't buy it if you have type 2 diabetes and want to monitor your blood. sugar.

Purchased the accu checkblood glucose checker less than 3 months ths ago and now won't stop going in to error. Sending it back! Waste of money!

Old meter - E9 fault code every time I used it. Replaced battery - E9 fault code every time I used it. Replaced battery and taped down lid to keep battery in contact - E9 fault code every time I used it.
Throw out Aviva model and get Instant model. After 2 weeks - E9 fault code every time I use it. Replaced batteries (x2 on the Instant) - E9 fault code every time I use it, etc. etc.
I sense there is a recurring theme here ...

Can't set it up. Can't get it to move beyond date set up. Utterly unusable. Followed videos. Doesn't work. Junk.£30 wasted

Uk Customer service for accucheck were v helpful. Maybe alter the Quick Start guide to say - if screen is flashing that means you're ready to go. Rather than thinking something was wrong - which is what i thought.

The only problem was when he didn't replace low battery, in which they last a long time from new.
If you need, you can call them.

Good produkt when it is in working order, but most of the time totally worthless as the battery runsten out quickly and the casette with tests stop working after only a couple of tests and in addition the test-casettes is blocked also to dates and stop working after a short while blaming the calendar dates
-There does not even seem to be an ovettige for all the bugs

The test vassrörs is unreasonably expansive for such a poor quality

Have had problems from the start with the test strip not activating the monitor After four months it has failed completly.Would not recommend accu-chek products

I have three mobile test monitors which are about 10 years old.just starting to develop problems.i e battery cover not closing properly . I am 83 old type 1 since I was 14 year of age. Customer service told me they no longer do the mobile monitor .so sent me 3 instant monitors as replacements. Big big disappointment instead of one operation to get a reading it’s now 3.its flimsy have to load strips dispose of strips. Does not record 7 14 30 day averages.awkward to use if you have arthritis in your hands.with the mobile model one push of button job done load one cassette and get 50 test. The lnstant monitor is a backward step.

Horrible Customer service could not ever speak to someone to get help. Every time I got through I was hung up. It's ridiculous.

I've always purchased Accu Chek testers. Up until now they were substantially made and worked well. This Accu-Chek Instant model was purchased 20/08/23 the body of the machine is so light weight and plastic one has real trouble trying to manipulate it to use it and I've nearly had it sloip out of my fingers and fall. God knows what would be left of this insubstantial thing if it did fall. Previous models I've had were much more robust and easy to handle with confidence. It's also not easy to use - for me at least. There are only 10 strips supplied with it, so one needs to buy or obtain 50 strips. I didn't know where to position the needle pricker as there is only vague info as to how to. The price is high for what is supplied. I'm very disappointed with it. Though I did manage to get a reading - after wasting one strip. Because you have to have a flashing strip showing before putting blood onto the yellow end of the strip, or you get error no 6. All in all not impressed with the price or functional design of this tester.

Elderly mother has had to go back to regular checks. Prescription lancets are a new type. Even though the Lancet device changes in 2016, within a couple of working hours of asking a question through the websit contact page earlier this month they had offered to send a replacement device. 3 working days later it was on the doormat and it works fine. Very efficient customer service.

Accu-Chek Performa Nano blood glucose monitor machine.
Extremely poor battery life. The batteries last only a few days. I replace several of these machines and the all have the same problem.
Surely, Accu-Check must be aware of the problem but they chose to do nothing about it.
My previous 'One Touh Ultra Easy' the battery lasted for years. I was very please with them, but I was told that the strips were not available ! Yet still these are advertised.
