It was an excellent experience at UMC, in D.C
It would not be been possible without the help and support from ACE.
We do get hands on experiences, get to see cases along with our doctor, and we are treated almost like a member of the team in the management of a case.
The doctor get us involved by doing case discussions, discussing the differential diagnoses and the various treatment options.
He is really very patient, listening to us, clearing our doubts, it's almost like a residency experience here.

Did 2 rotations through ACE MD. Jon patiently answered all my queries, and helped me clear some misconceptions. The payment process went smoothly. I got a letter to show at the airport. (I already had a visa). He put me in touch with a person who provides housing to students rotating in NY. But what made me really happy working with ACE MD was how they accommodated my request to change my rotation from Psych to FM just one week prior to start. They agreed to do it without any hassle at no extra cost. My first rotation was in psych in NY with Dr. V. He is super cool and nice to students. We were not treated like observers, he let us examine patients and type in the EMR both at hospital and clinic. He gave me an excellent LoR. My second rotation was at Chicago with Dr. J. He is a great guy who is very passionate about teaching. We not just learnt medicine, but also a lot about how to deal with insurance and malpractice issues that exist in the USA. We got plenty of hands on experience with patients at hospital and clinic. He and his colleague would give us regular feedback on how to improve our EMR notes. I cannot recommend this rotation enough.
Overall, I am very happy with Jon and his colleagues at Ace MD for arranging the rotations at a reasonable cost, their prompt responses and flexibility. Highly recommended.

I wanted an observership in a specific city that it was almost impossible to find anything there but Jon was the only one who volunteered to look for a place there and after a few months got my observeship and it was a very good learning period.

I liked how Jon was accessible and helpful throughout the process. Though I wasn't able to do the elective, he was understanding and very helpful with the refund process too

I had initially booked two rotations with Jon, one in Houston, and another in Dallas. But my plans changed and I stayed on in Houston for all my rotations, some of which I was able to find on my own. Jon was very easy to work with, and he refunded me the full amount which I paid without any delay. He was very honest from the beginning, and seems to really want to help IMGs find the best USCE. In the future I look forward to working with him again if the need arises, and I highly recommend him if you’re looking for good rotations.

I am so happy that I approached ACE for my rotation as I had a great experience at the UCSD.My perceptor was very kind, helpful,friendly and a very intelligent human indeed! It was an amazing learning experience. Thank you ACE.

The rotation was as per my expectations and very helpful. Jon was available to solve all my doubts and helped with the housing as well. I'll definitely do another rotation with Jon in future.

Jon and his colleagues did great work in getting me into the desired rotation. I appreciated their help very much and recommend ACE to all including medical students and graduates who want to get US clinical experiences.

It was a very good experience.
Doctor was very nice and encouraging, we interacted with patients and learned alot but it would also be better if we could also get some hospital experience..most of the experience was in the clinic.

Other than that it was a great experience.

Highly recommend it for students doing electives for the first time.

It's really good experience for people who come for first time for clinical experience and who want to take Step 2cs exam after that because Dr would help us take case talk to patient and type notes. which is very much needed to be experienced before giving cs exam.😇😇

It was hard to find a good inpatient rotation, especially for IMG. But ACE helped me to solve this problem. Despite that I had some issues, Jon responded fast and problem was solved within light day, and it was Saturday. Thank you very much for the help!
I have started my FM rotation at Chicago area recently and fully satisfied with it.
Dr J. is one of the best tutors and doctors I ever met. He is creating friendly atmosphere and meanwhile making students to nourish critical thinking. Dr J. is helpful and kindly teaching us.

Although we didn't work together, one thing is for sure that Jon is a person who can be trusted.
My clinical rotation plan was somehow cancelled. And when I told Jon about this he sent me the full refund of the registration fee that I paid.
I'd really like to work with ACE in future.

I am doing a Pathology rotation at University of California, San Diego that ACE arranged. Great experience!! This program integrates research, lectures and receives a broad range of pathology specimens!!!

Hello all, I would like to share my experience with ACE and Jon in particular. I was worried about getting an elective somewhere, which led me to ACE and Jon. He contacted me immediately and discussed my plans about USMLE, he was so supportive and gave me confidence. We discussed in particular about the options for rotations that I have. After which I decided to do an rotation via ACE MD, I paid the full amount along with the deposit. Jon was always available to me on whatsapp, quick in sending me details about the rotation and helped me with finding a housing as well. However, a few weeks before my rotation I had to cancel my rotation via ACE, and I informed Jon about the same which he completely understood and I was refunded my amount after deducing small cancellation fees. ( which should be negligible considering the amount you spend on USMLE in general). I would like to mention that refund was initiated in a matter of minutes and it was credited in my credit card in a day.

If given a chance again I would totally love to do my rotation via ACE and I recommend them completely considering the smoothness and transparency of the process.

My friends and I rotated for 1 month with Dr L at Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago in April 2019. It was a great experience and the doctor is very accomplished and professional with a great sense of humour! It was a very learning experience. Jon was super helpful throughout and supported us with whatever we needed every step of the way!

my exiperience with ACE was great!
i really learned alot from the doctor that i shadowed for 1 month in los angeles , ACE was very professinal in terms of dealing with paperwork , jon was so dedicated to provide me with the best and he even came to meet me in reality, i recommend ACE to everyone looking for an externship in the US.

I chose ACE.md to get my very first rotation in the United States and I am very satisfied with that decision. Jon helped me through the entire process every step of the way and even helped me get an amazing accommodation. Not only is ACE.md priced reasonably but it also provided me with a memorable experience. My preceptor was very enthusiastic about teaching and I learned a lot about the US healthcare system and I am looking forward to getting a strong LOR from this rotation. I would recommend ACE.md to anyone who is looking for a good rotation and learning opportunity.

Jon was very helpful in refunding my whole fee when I cancelled the elective two days before the start of rotation. It was easy to communicate with him to set up an elective and he was available for every query of mine always. !

My rotation was in december last year in chicago with Dr L. And i had a really great time. From the very beginning Ace an jon really helped so that the process went smoothly for me; finding the rotation, getting my visa and arriving in the U.S. i personally had a great experience going in the hospital in the morning and being at the clinic later in the day it gave me ( coming from south africa) an insight into both internal medicine as well as family medicine ( to a certain extent) in the U.S and that was of a great benefit.

I did my rotation in Internal medicine in Chicago. Jon was very helpful and he even helped me with the accommodation during my rotation. My preceptor was very friendly and I was able to interact with patients and do physicals and I also learned how the US health care system works. At the end of rotation, he gave me a good LOR. The clinical experience I gained really helped me during my interviews and I matched in Internal medicine. My overall experience with the ACE.MD was great and I highly recommend it.
