I totally agree with the latest 1 Star reviews. I should have read other negative reviews before ordering bifold doors from this heartless Alpine company. We have never dealt with a company like this one before. Received a cancellation email on Friday 13.12.19 to postpone our delivery and installation that was originally scheduled for Monday 16.12.19 with reasons of bad weather conditions. I emailed back arguing their excuse as the weather conditions in their location and my location were expected to be good. Relentless calls and 2 emails to their company were met with silence. Alpine Aluminium recently pressured us into making payment, and I believe they knew their company was going into liquidation. Their unexpected closure has left us feeling devastated and out of pocket with little chance of getting our money back.

I too had the cancellation email due to weather. Alarm bells started ringing as I had builders, roofers etc working in this weather. No answer to phone calls and no reply to emails. Found out the devastating news yesterday from one of the trades. Alpine have £25,000 of my money. We cant get any more from the bank until our build is watertight and it needs windows and doors to watertight. Our hard work, money and dreams of a family home is now in ruins. Am beyond distraught

Visited Alpine Aluminium today and guess what, they have ceased trading and Rushtons have been appointed as administrators. If you have deposits or full payment with Alpine I suggest you visit them and see Simon from Rushtons. Good luck everybody I hope the lying snakes at Alpine ( Names removed by trustpilot) get what they deserve, there will be lots of out of pocket customers when the dust settles. Good luck everyone, we have all been taken for mugs !

Looks like these lying snakes have set up again after ripping everybody off, get on companies house website and get the directors name. Don't let them get away with it !

Disgusting company. Ordered bifolds in October - saw a number of good reviews. Was informed by Ross that the doors could be fitted in 3-4 weeks, delayed survey appointment by 2 weeks, then when asking about installation was told 3-4 weeks from 1st November, I advised that I need
Fitting before Christmas this was guaranteed. Date changed to 16/12/2019 to then be cancelled by email late on 13/12/2019 due to “high winds” met office confirms there was no high winds or weather issues sunny all day, No replies to emails or calls. Disgusting. All I can say Is that I agree the positive reviews must be fake. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!

I am hugely disappointed, I contacted Alpine Aluminium, following reading great reviews and i was impressed with the 10 day turn around. Conner, was charming and attentive. Everything I requested, the company stated and agreed was their pleasure to provide. the fitting prior to Christmas was my deal breaker and several times this was agreed was no problem. Laura in the office was great and agreed to support me in getting installation of the windows.

It was agreed that these 4.20 m bifold would be fitted on the 20th Dec 19 however, received an email stating they would not be fitted due to the weather. I checked the met office and the weather was not a problem.

Phoned relentlessly on Monday and Tuesday, only to be confirmed by an ex employee that they have gone into liquidation with a lot of my money😡😡😡Very angry customer

Absolutely agree with the previous review. They get bursts of fake 5 star reviews within a couple of hours every now and then ( on one occasion 7!) to boost up their horrible (genuine ) reviews. I really hope Trustpilot does something about this. We had to cancel our order and will be fighting to get our deposit back. They lie about everything and should be avoided. Just trust everything your read with 1 star reviews, I won’t even attempt to share our experience, it is exactly as described by other unhappy customers. There is such a clear pattern. Stat away, these people will rip you off.

Avoid and please be warned, if you are reading this and think there are positive reviews check the dates of those, usually they are in bursts and follow days of negative reviews which leads me to believe they are false positives to offset the real situation...

Alpine Aluminium have now gone bust and all warranties are null and void. If you still have products to be installed I would request you ask for your money back and go elsewhere. The fitting standard will not be up to scratch and you will have no back up if there are any further faults.

I would strongly recommend NOT to use this company. We ordered 5m of bifolds, 2 triangular windows above bifolds and a side window and pressings to cover the external aspect.
Deposit taken in July and nearly all balance taken in Aug.
There have been 7 attempts to complete order. Windows have been made too small, , windows forgotten, tried to redeliver initial windows which were wrong size, pressings incorrectly.
Forgotten, then made incorrectly.
We are 3months on from when the windows would have been finished. We have no pressings, there are seals missing, there is a scratch on one window and a flaw on another, powder coating is coming off a window.
The operations director, Paul, came out over 2 weeks ago and made a list of all outstanding issues. They were supposed to deliver yesterday. They didn’t turn up. Now there is no answer in the business.
We have never dealt with such an inefficient, inept company. I am a fair person and understand mistakes can happen, but this is a catalogue of errors, beyond what is acceptable.
We should have heard the alarm bells when we had to pay nearly all the cost before delivery. We are exhausted with all the battling to get this sorted. We are had 6 days off work to facilitate deliveries and 3 of these times they haven’t turned up.
We have spent £7000 and have a partially completed order and where installation has happened there are faults. I am amazed that anyone has left a positive review and would question the legitimacy of these reviews.
If you are considering using this company my advice would be to pay a bit more and go elsewhere.

A void at all cost
I ordered and paid for my windows and doors with delivery date of sept 2018, their fitters turned up on the date provided with 4 of my windows (this is out of 8 in total ) the openings to my house were all open and exposed to the elements ,after installing 3 windows the fitters informed me that a 4m by 2.4m window had been made to the wrong size and that it was the wrong colour inside ,I was assured it would be replaced and that the incorrect one could be fitted temporary by removing trims to secure my property ,they returned later that week to fit more windows but one was missing ,this didn't turn up for weeks in which time I had to form a hoarding myself to secure my home as they walked away leaving a hole in the front of my house 2m wide by 2 stories high after months of telephone calls and emails I was told by Josh Parkin that the window did fit the opening and they would send someone round to spray the window inside my house .All this time none of the windows had been sealed around the edges,I went around to seal the frames with expanding foam to minimise damage from water ingress .After issuing court proceedings earlier this year Josh Parkin (bullshitter) told me they had now started to manufactured the trims to fit my window (even though the trims that were removed from the original window lay on my drive ) the new window turned up and was fitted but the inside still had sections the wrong colour ,when I pointed this out the fitter told me it was so that when the sliding doors opened the grey matched the window colour outside again BS also tread plates were missing and I was told they didn't think they did them for the double sliding doors (BS again).A member of staff came out to see the job and made a list of all the works that needed completing ,missing cover plates windows not siliconed missing trims panels the wrong colour leaks where two frames butted together ,different shades of white within the same frame ,damage to the decorations due to windows not been sealed ,she said she would try to get these addressed but pointed out it had to go through Mr BS josh parkin,nothing happened and the case went through the courts and I was awarded over £11,000 in sept this year
the enforcement company went in and collected in full.But their saying of a breath of fresh air should be replaced with the smell of BS

Do not make our mistake of not reading the reviews thoroughly.

I don't usually leave reviews, other than positive and tend to email management directly so they have the opportunity to improve. Sadly, Alpine don't wish to reply to any of my emails and concerns sent to both Connor and Rebecca.

From initial contact with Alpine, Connor was great, the usual sales tactics from a Windows and Doors company but pleasant enough.

All down hill as soon as the deposit was paid.

I too fell short with the glossy marketing offering "10 day turnaround guaranteed'' With it actually being over 4 weeks, I get the busy periods etc etc but why offer if you simply can not support?

Also noting other reviews and responses saying busiest period, but at opposite time frames to our order.

The first date for fitting was cancelled, on the day at 7:30am.
No Reason, No Explanation, hardly an apology and no instruction on another date. First issue, and at cost to myself with builders and holiday booked off.

If i was to have cancelled this would have cost me £500 + VAT.

3 Days later I then get a phone call at 8:30am out of the blue, saying we are coming to fit the doors today. I explain i'm on holiday and may not be able to have anyone at the property for the installation - This was met with a rude and aggressive attitude. I managed to then get my mother in law at the property for the installation. Second time, at cost with her having to take a day out of work.

As the fitters arrive I get a phone call saying they can't fit the doors as concrete needs to be cut back to allow flush threshold - How was this not picked up on site survey?!

I luckily managed to get my builder to the property and have the work done to allow fitment.

With not being able to be at the property myself I couldn't 'buy off' the works done till a week later on my return.

I certainly would NOT have accepted the workmanship left.

It really is a shame I can't leave pictures on here, but will look after posting at other avenues to do so.

The doors are now leaking, with water pooling in the tracks.

I can only suspect the 5* reviews are friends and family of colleagues at Alpine Aluminium.

**** UPDATE TO REPLY TO RESPONSE*****

The site survey was signed off with note for the builder to remove course of bricks to allow flush threshold - Which was done, completely separate to the issue I had stated above. Which was the fact Alpine's installers 'forgot' how wide the frame is.

Since emailing photos of the work - No reply.

I have since reviewed on their Facebook and looked at there 5* reviews. 2 minutes digging and family members and friends are those leaving reviews, comical.

It is now a week since I first reviewed Alpine Aluminium. My review resulted in Alpine’s customer care officer contacting me and within 24 hours she offered a new installation date of 10 December ... but when I asked for further information to understand if I could rely on the new install date she has been unable to answer me, and I have heard nothing further for a week. My window openings were measured and agreed by Sept 16th. Since then I have been trying to get Alpine to install them. They finally agreed to install on the 18th Nov but cancelled at the last minute. To try to understand if they really would install on the 10th, I asked 1) why it would take 3 months to install instead of the 3 weeks they told me initially? 2) why they failed to install at the last minute on Nov18th? and 3) (crucially) what is the current build position of my windows - are they even in the country yet? I’m really surprised they can’t confirm the build status! Without answers, I cannot know whether the date of Dec 10th has any validity - it feels like a means of avoiding returning the £16000 funds they already have of mine. This company is best avoided until it is clear they have sorted themselves out.

I have had my whole house refitted with windows and bi-folding doors across the back of my extension on the back of my house. Amazing from start to finish!!
I initially spoke to Natasha in the customer service department, she was very polite and helpful. I was then passed through to Iain in the sales department who helped guide me through my best options and put up with my indecisive choices on colours and designs. Nothing was too much trouble as long as i (the customer) was happy with my final choice.

I will be back soon to order my Sky lights and Doors to complete the amazing look the new windows and bi-folding doors have given my house!!

i absolutely love my new sliding doors and windows supplied by Alpine aluminium, the quality is impeccable.
I had previously had quotes with different companies in west yorkshire but all seemed to lack knowledge of what they were trying to offer me- which wasn't helpful.
i dealt with Lauren during my experience with alpine aluminium, i cannot thank her enough! Very helpful, professional and made me feel at ease during all the steps of the purchase. Amazing!
Also a big thank you to connor in sales, again very professional and took great care in getting me exactly what i was looking for!

overall i would recommend to anyone and will definitely be using this company again for future projects :)

Had some windows and a bifolding door fitted recently and the service from start to finish was amazing. I initially spoke to Lauren from the customer service team who was extremely helpful and pointed me in the right direction to Connor who guided me through the process and helped me make the best choices for me. Without a doubt would use them again.

Massive thanks to lauren for her outstanding customer service, and a big thanks to Ross in the sales department, my bifold doors look outstanding!

Had bi fold doors fitted in September. After 1 week the doors malfunctioned.Now I cannot open the doors.Reported the issue and still await any repair from Alpine Aluminium.Apparently has a 15 year Gaurantee, not worth the paper it is written on. Communication was poor throughout the actual purchase.Would not recommend & wish I had used another firm.Do not buy from this company.

Great team in the office. Connor pulled out all the stops to get my order through including removing a large amount of brickwork that my job requires. Attention to detail and knowledge that surveyor demonstrated gave me further confidence. Installation due in the coming weeks.
From what I have seen I would certainly use Alpine Aluminium again.
