When I received a letter from Anglia Research I was extremely suspicious as I suspected it was a scam. However once I had spoken with their representative my mind was completely at ease.
The Probate Researcher was so helpful and informative, she kept fully informed throughout the process and extremely professional.

Anglia Research are a highly competent company and I have no hesitation in recommending to carry out probate research.

I was sceptical when first contacted about a possible inheritance but Eileen reassured me and proceeded in the most professional and thorough manner to investigate. Although enquiries sadly proved there was no money to distribute the family are delighted to have discovered more details about ancestors that we would not otherwise know. Can highly recommend. There’s no risk as no fee to pay if no money found so this is a trustworthy organisation

No longer replies to emails (two emails sent to you, waited two weeks before doing this review).

Unsure if a contract still exists (after signing with them in July 2021).

No proactive contact or updates during this time. No doubt this will be replied to though. Very professional.

I grew up in the care system. I never expected to receive anything from my birth family. I had contact pretty much out of the blue regarding a blood relative passing and an inheritance that would be shared between immediate family. Myself being one of those. After much back and forth of info, which for me brought up alot of memories and feelings that I had long since dealt with, there has been no progress.
All it has resulted in is another channel of too much thinking and upset which I would rather had been left where it was.

I was contacted out of the blue from Eileen Butcher about some money that I was entitled to from a relative. At first I thought it was one of those scam phone calls until she said don’t hang up and do I know of these people. It all sounded eerie at first but I soon realised it wasn’t a scam. Eileen dealt with all my questions and even when I rang her to ask questions she was very helpful and obliging. I have received a cheque this week and can’t thank Eileen enough for contacting me.
