Athens Car Rental - ACR

Excellent company. Kostas from ACR sent us a message ahead of landing to inform us where he would be waiting for us. He was friendly and professional, worked through paperwork fast and guided us to our car. We had booked an Opel but were upgraded to a almost brand new VW T Cross at no extra cost. We were on our way fast and the car was a pleasure to drive. After our trip, Kostas made a quick check of the car and concluded everything was ok. ACR is a trustworthy, pleasant company to rent a car whenever you’re in Greece.

At the time I reserved a car (March 2025) for a renting period of 2 weeks end of May, category E cars contained only Opel Corsa, including a nice picture of the latest model. The contract mentioned "Opel Corsa or similar".
At the pickup place, I was provided a Dacia Sandero.
During the trip I emailed ACR, asking whether they rate Dacia Sandero similar to Opel Corsa, and they answered "Yes a Dacia Sandero is similar in size to a Opel Corsa".
That would probably stand legally, but as a customer I feel being tricked.
Regarding service and what is included in the package, I have no complaints.

When we travel to Greece we always use Athens car rental, we have never had a problem with their service they are always available for any questions or concerns, great service they provide

Great service ! Met at airport arrivals hall by Stavros.
Excellent English, pleasure to deal with ! We are back to Kato Alepochoriou in December , will be using you again . Can't fault service. Hope to see you again Stavros !.

We rented a car at Athens airport for two week. Good welcome, thorough examination of the car which was in a very good condition. Same quick experience at return, ACR lifted the guarantee one month after the end of the operation.

We were met in the arrivals hall by Frank, from ACR. He took us straight away to the car in the carpark where the paperwork was completed in 5-10 minutes; the drop-off arrangements were explained; we were given the number to call if we had any problems (we didn't) and anything we needed to know about the car was explained. This was the speediest pick-up of a holiday rental car we've had in 30 years.
Also, on our return someone from ACR phoned about 9.35 a.m. before our scheduled 10.00 a.m. return. We explained that we were held up in slow-moving traffic on the motorway and Google Maps was saying we'd be arriving about 10.10. That was fine. When we arrived the man from ACR (sorry, we didn't get his name) was waiting at the side of the road as we approached the Short Term Parking 1. He waved us in the direction of the entrance and when we entered he pointed us to a space in which to park. We offloaded our luggage while he completed the paperwork and we were on our way into the airport within about 5 minutes.
This was a very easy, smooth experience without the usual long queue at the "Big Name" rental company's desk. We had the car for 18 days with no problems.

Andreas at Athens Car Rental is professional and courteous. From the booking online to the supply of the car the company was prompt with its response and service. Andreas delivered the car for us in Athens and everything went as planned. The vehicle provided by the company was in a very good condition. We returned the vehicle at the airport and am very thankful at the service this company supplied. We will definitely be using ACR in the future. Thank you Andreas and ACR for such a wonderful experience. We will look forward to our next rental.👏👏

Andreas at Athens Car Rental is professional, fluent in both Greek and English and above all else he’s a kind person. The moment I contacted ACR from Toronto, Canada the company was prompt with a response. There were no hidden fees and everything was explained as to how I would pay for and pick up the vehicle. At VENIZELOS (Athens Airport) Andreas was waiting for us and everything went as planned. The vehicle provided by the company was an upgrade and in amazing shape. I returned the vehicle in the same condition as I received it and from the same location. I am simply amazed at the service and the very high level by which this company functions. I will definitely be using ACR in the future. I may also purchase a vehicle from them at some point (if they sell their well taken care of vehicles). Thank you Andreas and to all your colleagues for such a wonderful experience. BLESS!!

We always use ACR when renting a car in Greece. They have an excellent selection of vehicles and the staff make every effort to individualize the experience for you. Highly professional and highly proficient.

tres bon service d''un bout à l'autre
tres professionnel

We always use ACR.. great rates, excellent service and reliable. Communication is prompt and their pick up / drop off is seamless and quick.

We've used ACR a number of times, always a great price, efficient service both during the booking and at the airport and the cars are always well-maintained and in great condition.

From the delivery of the vehicle at our Athens hotel to the return at the airport, ACR's service was exemplary. A valet at one hotel shattered our van window; ACR coordinated the repair with hotel staff so that our vacation went on seamlessly. ACR will always have our business!

Excellent service. All communication thorough and trustworthy. Very impressed with this car rental company.

We have rented from Athens Car Rental for three years and it has always been easy, efficient and an entirely seamless experience from start to finish. Fantastic confirmation pre-pickup so we always felt secure about the contract and arrangements. Staff were very friendly, professional and accommodating. The cars were excellent and we appreciated being picked up at the airport without delay and ready to be on our way very quickly. Also dropping off at the airport was pre-arranged and it was so easy. We were thoroughly impressed from the start to the end. Thanks to a very good company, we will continue to rent from you and we will definitely be recommending you.”

Very friendly staff, easy pick up and drop off at the airport, good price, will definitely book again!
