Gave me a telematics device that said I was speeding through housing estates when I was infact on the motorway next to it. Useless customer service and very inaccurate technology using Trakm8. Avoid at all costs

Honestly the worst insurance company ever. Only reason i went with them is because it said they have no curfew - turns out you can’t drive between 11pm-5am. They’ve threatened cancellation multiple times, i told them that my car was rejected by the finance company due to being faulty and was being returned back to the dealer and i was trying to get a new car. They told me I had 7 days to get one. I said that wasn’t enough time as I hadn’t been refunded yet, they gave me 14 days instead. 7 days later I get notice of cancellation from them despite them agreeing to give me 14 days !! phoned them and they agreed it should have been 14, so they uncancelled it and i got a new car. today when i got hit with a bill over £100 for exceeding my annual mileage of 8000, according to their black box. I have evidence from the auctions company who inspected my first car to show the amount of miles i had done, and the tracking device to show what was done on my new car. I’ve only done 6500 miles, they say i’ve done 8000+ !! apparently they’ve never had issues with this before? I said majority of people probably just take their word for it that they’ve exceeded the mileage because they don’t have the evidence to prove they haven’t, but i do. staff on the phone said he would pass it on but that it was unlikely to change anything?? please please please avoid

This is the worst insurance, really bad customer service. With out doing any claims at the end they have put claims on my No claims bonus so my new insurance have go up so much because of this. I have told them why you done this to me change it send me new no claims bonus but they are saying we are sorry we can’t do that, we know you have not done any claims but sorry we can’t change it. I have to pay lots more just because of them also I have asked them okay if you can not change it pay for the extra charge I have been charged because of you guys still they do not want to help.

Had I read the reviews for this company I would not have gone with them.
I'm not going to re - iterate everything that has been said by others apart from verifying there experiences have been similiar to mine.
This year has been my worst driving period of my life. I have two weeks to go then I'll be rid of them. WARN YOUR FRIENDS.
AVOID BLACK BOX CAR INSURANCE.

This is the worst company ever, they constantly tried to cancel my insurance because they didn’t let me have any social life, if I go to visit family and stay over they will cancel it, you can’t drive after 11pm, they tell you you can but the score goes right down if you do it just one time it will take atleast a month to bring the score back up. I had to buy more miles, and If you want to contact them you need atleast an hour spare to be waiting on hold before they answer the phone.

The reason for 1 star is where I live the roads are atrocious with potholes. There is simply no way around them. Every time I go out. My score on the blackbox becomes lower and lower, and the it sends information that I have had a crash which is wrong. I contacted blackbox support and they simply ain't interested. Pleased I am leaving in 3 months time.

If there was an option for 0 stars that would be my pick. Will do anything to ensure it takes more money out of your pocket. DO NOT recommend to anyone out there who is looking for an insurance company.worst insurance company I have been with.

Awful. Wish I read the reviews before going with them. Moved address and couldn’t get in contact with anyone from there. As a result had to cancel my policy. I owed them some money as I cancelled and didn’t know until it got passed over to a third party company as I moved address and they only sent letters to my old address. They were aware of all this and still didn’t help. I wouldn’t bother going with them.

Absolutely, horrifically, completely disgusting company! I wish I had seen just one of the reviews on here (reviews on their website seem to be fabricated). Avoid this company at all costs. Completely impossible to get in touch with, disgusting approach to customer service and they will scam you out of every penny they can! Agree with other reviews that they should have zero stars. I have no idea how this company has not been shut down/taken to court. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

They try and get every last penny out of you! Scam artist that really don't care about customer services (Hence the shocking reviews on here that go unanswered)

Cancel policies for no apparent reason other than their faulty equipment.
Now struggling to find reasonable insurance anywhere because there is a cancellation on my name! Please avoid at all costs

The most disgusting company I have ever dealt with took a policy out for daughter It transpired there was 3 weeks to go on her existing policy so I could not produce no claims They told me they would need to stop policy with no refund of £200 paid and to take another policy out as soon as no claims proof was available we then done this premium £200 more £257 deposit They then get in touch and say we had defaulted payment I explained we had just taken insurance out couple of days earlier They checked and had not stopped first policy Their fault as we had the no claims proof said would it be easier to bring first policy up to date Their mistake but happy to continue my reward they stopped both policies And kept the money £457 It is theft and I have filed a small claim at court and will drag them up to Edinburgh They want cost me I will cost them Do not deal with them I believe they create issues to cancel you out and keep your money Go compare should remove them from their system crooks

Avoid at all cost any excuse to cancel your insurance and they will cancel it, wouldn't let me leave my car to the mechanic to be fixed as he had to unplug the tracker for ten minutes to use a computer to diagnose an electrical fault and if you go over your estimated millage its an automatic £429 charge which they inform you with three weeks left of your policy and you must pay or they cancel on you and you've lost your no claims bonus absolute joke of a company

Avoid at all costs, you will spend hours on hold trying to get through to extremely unhelpful customer ‘service’ agents who sound more like robots. To get set up was beyond painful, no mention of a black box being fitted to my car until it arrives in the post, if I don’t attach it I lose my cover AND £250 deposit?! They’ve threatened me with cancellation of policy for exceeding my annual Miles by 45 Miles!!! - ok fair enough but it’s 10 days before my renewal is due and have added a £93 admin fee, £50 cancellation fee, zero refund from the insurer despite my policy being cut short. I’m speechless, ‘Kay’ in customer service has been completely useless repeating the same sentence, eventually admitted any refund will be eaten up with ‘admin’ fees. I’m actually relieved to be free of them. AVOID!!!

Awful company.

I wish we had landed on this review page before purchasing two policies with this so called insurance company.

We too got lured in by cheaper insurance prices for our son - what a mistake. They have cancelled two insurance policies with no prior warning and no reason.

And now they have made a demand for final payment of over £400 for a policy they unfairly cancelled. I called them and they were particularly unhelpful.

Seriously, pay a few pounds extra and get a good company to insure your car!

Been insured since January stayed over at my girlfriends house quite a lot since then and took till now for them to send me an email saying call them. Waited an hour on hold to be told they were closing in 5 minutes and couldn’t do anything and said I need to add it as an oversight address (which is no problem) called over and over either with no answer or on hold for ages left multiple voicemails.

They sent the first email Thursday saying I had 7 days by the Monday morning (calls shut on Sunday aswell) I got a email saying my insurance was cancelled so instead of 7days I had 4 and they were open only 3 of those.

We phoned up and threatened legal action now they have said I can have my insurance back but can’t stay anywhere but my house during the policy!

Absolutely awful company. Stated to be the cheapest. WRONG.

You pay the deposit then they demand payments of extras then threaten to cancel the policy. They owe me over £500 still waiting!!!!!!!!
