AN unintended mistake during my last service was rectified and full responsibility taken, which you don't always see. I was impressed how it was handled.

Great customer service in store and got the bike I wanted really quickly. Sent some confusing emails about when to pick up the bike but otherwise no complaints

I purchased a Trek procaliber 9.5 online and collected it from the Gatwick showroom. The skilled staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The bike had been prepared for me and looked amazing. I was advised about registering on the Trek site to obtain my frame guarantee. Plus the free 30 day bike insurance through Sunday insurance. Balfes were the only site that offered this bike in the colour and size needed. The price beat all others by £150. This was not a short journey for me. M20/M26/M25/M3 But the onsite parking and beautifully stocked showroom were well worth the extra miles. In six weeks, I have the first free service. The over-all package with the bike is very good. From the Insurance to the money off next purchase. Highly recommended.

Purchased a new Giant bike on line for click and collect at Gatwick store. Had a few questions for the support guys that were not answered.

In store experience was excellent and had the best bike fit I’ve ever experienced (thanks Keith - you’re a star)

A great experience in collecting my new Trek by spending time to explain new features, time to road test the bike and fix issues found, e.g. gear synchronisation.

I visited Balfe’s Bikes Gatwick showroom today and was looked after by Ruth. She was brilliant and genuinely helpful, patient, and no question was too much trouble. We spent time going through different bikes and I was able to try on various bits of safety gear to get the right fit and feel. Really appreciated the time and care she took.
Highly recommend both the shop and Ruth. Will definitely be back.

The bike to work scheme can be a little frustrating at times. Steve made the process simple and super flexible. Enabling me to collect the bike I wanted in a timescale that worked for me. A great experience from a company that focuses on customer experience and a love of the product.

2nd time of trying service side out, cannot get through on phone, was not told they would have bike for up to two weeks, for a standard service is ridiculous amount of time when you have booked it in in advance! Had to complain to customer service team to eventually get a call back on progress, would not recommend

The staff were polite, knowledgeable and very helpful with any questions I had.

I got charged for two different cassettes so they took £43 too much.

The service was good quality and gears working much better now but it took over a week (waiting for a part) and then charging double.

Have used Balfe's regularly for both maintenance and updates to my bikes. On this occasion needed a spoke replaced and asked about updating the twist grip shifters to trigger style and replacing bar grips etc. Price quoted was very competitive and work undertake to a high standard. My thanks to the team at Gatwick and will happily use their services again when the time comes.

We returned to Balfes to purchase a second MTB bike from them for our son. We had 7 months of issues with a bike from elsewhere that Balfes workshop lads worked on nearly every month (eventually that was returned) but wanted to stick with a company we knew. Shop floor staff were great this time round in helping our son test ride and discuss what he wanted. Collecting the bike was effortless even though they were really busy, they took the time to check we had everything we needed and explained the registration and warranty process. They offer a free 6 week service and I know we will continue to use their services.

I had a great experience at Balfe's, all the staff were extremely knowledgable and helpful. I would particularly like to thank Ruth who gave us such wonderful customer service during the test ride of our Brompton G Line, through purchase and kept us up to date on progress as the workshop got our new bike ready for collection. It's rare these days to have customer service of this quality and you felt like the staff genuinely cared about their customers. Thank you, we will be back :)

I like the friendly reception I experienced when I visited the last time and also had to see a lot of things you have in stock that I need to buy for my cycling experience and I’m glad I did visited.
