Quick and easy process

Have bought, and traded in a couple of cars with Bav motor company. Always secured a fair price with excellent service in a quick and friendly manner. Have dealt mainly with Chris who has always been super helpful to deal with and sorted all paperwork for us.

Right from the start when I phoned the day before to ask questions and then in phoning straight back when I left a message to confirm time Gerald was so welcoming and informative. Clearly explained each stage and costs clearly and part exchange for my car.

Excellent experience with Bav! I dealt with Gerald who was more than happy to help me and answer my questions, he didn’t make me feel pressured or rushed like I have felt in other garages. Would highly recommend Bav Motors.

Have bought 2 vehicles from BAV motors and have never had any issues at all. I also sold a car to BAV with finance left in it which they settled for me. Everything was explained in a professional manner.

Picked up a first car for my son last weekend. Really friendly service and staff were great with my son. Car running brilliantly and felt like we got a great deal. Can’t recommend highly enough! Will be back.

I was parking up and he said you can’t park here a test drive is coming back I went oh ok, he said park in the garden centre. As I was reversing out I have been driving 17 years he was like left hand all the way around love… I replied in a nice voice ‘it’s ok. I know how to drive’ his reply was ‘it doesn’t look like it’ and laughed, bearing in mind he was an older guy looked like he was in his 70’s. After the condescending remark I said do you want me to come and look at your cars, his reply was I couldn’t care less love, I asked if he owned the place, again his reply was what’s it got to do with you! I did call him a p**ck and he responded you are and f off. Avoid at all costs!!!!!

Numerous faults with car purchased off within two weeks of buying , water pump failure resulting in costly repairs

Nothing but excuses off them and lies!!

Sold a car with countless faults, first of which appeared just over 24 hours after picking up vehicle. Attempted to charge extra money for a failed diagnosis at an independent garage. Didn't reply in a timely fashion to the 2nd or 3rd times the vehicle became unable to be driven or outright dangerous (within 3 months!) and then refused to take the vehicle back. No offer of a courtesy car or replacement. We are now on week 9 with no resolution! Please engage with the finance company to resolve this!

Update : I got a call about 3 hours after this review was left. BAV Motors lied to the finance broker about a conversation they supposedly had with me. Sadly, I had evidence they had made zero attempts to contact me since April 8th

Bought a car from BAV Motors recently. Alex is a very likeable chap, and comes across as he can’t do enough for you.
The car we bought had quite a few scratches on the rear bumper which we arranged to have re sprayed before collection. There was a deep scratch under one of the front headlights which he said he would get sorted at the same time.
We paid £150 to get this sorted.
Also the Sat Nav SD card wasn’t working, a new one was needed, again this was duly noted and said it would be sorted by the time we collected the car.

When we collected the car the re spray looked good, but the scratch at the front hadn’t been attended to.
The SD card had been forgotten also.

It then took a number of phone calls, which if I used my mobile,was ignored, but if I used our home number, because it wasn’t recognised,was answered. Some flimsy excuses saying it had been posted to us, but no tracking code sent to us, when requested.
A firm email was sent and although not responded to , an elderly man turned up the the following day to hand me the SD card.

We have since discovered all the wheel nuts on the car were the wrong ones, so each one had to be filed down to ensure any wheel could be removed and replaced comfortably.

Very disappointed with the overall buying experience.
It’s these smaller details that really make the difference, and to be ignored and then told untruths, is not a reflection of good customer service.

We have a problem with a filter and engine light now but although it’s still under the 3 month warrantee, we will not be taking it back to them.
