Crooks!! Placed an order start of May and still not received it. No reply to emails and no way of contacting other than email.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING OFF THEM.

Like many others on here, I wish I had seen these reviews before I attempted to make a purchase. Placed an order and have subsequently sent them several messages asking for any sort of update.... absolutely no response at all. No phone number published on their website either (another red flag I missed). Now about to contact my credit card company to get my money back...

*A further update, my credit card company have refunded me the full amount. They tried to get hold of the retailer, who incidentally didn't respond to them either... just sums it all up really.

Do not buy from this company. I am waiting for a refund of an item that has never arrived. Full of false promises. I shall be going through small claims.

Don't waste your money people! 2 products ordered in early January and still waiting for delivery in late May. No response to emails during the 5 month wait makes the process even more frustrating for the customer. An email was received 3 weeks ago stating that the products were on their way ....... but no show.
Managed to claim a refund via PayPal.
Stay well away from these cowboys.

Multiple failed promises regarding dispatch and delivery dates. Response to emails either extremely slow or non existent……..

Dispatch was promised for Friday 17th May so I stupidly booked our decorator for 3 days from Wednesday 22nd May for the day after the table should have been delivered. No table arrived.

I then received an automated email on the 22nd May confirming dispatch which was 5 days after I was told it had been dispatched. This email contained a 48 hour delivery tracking number which Parcelforce do not acknowledge and have told me that this company have NOT requested a collection from them with this tracking number or my delivery address.

I genuinely feel robbed. No response to emails the latest of which requested to cancel the order and refund………. I’ll have to proceed via the chargeback method.

Please guys avoid this company. If you are like me, you try and support the independents where you can but when customer service is this appalling I dread to think how good their craftmanship is……. That’s if you ever receive your order to find out!!

I’ve had my radiator console shelf now for a number of months but when the brand popped up on instagram again I feel obligated to share my experience before anyone else parts with their cash for months on end with nothing to show for it.

It had to be said the shelf is nice. But like everyone else the customer experience we had was awful. We paid in full upon ordering and it took +6 months and endless chasing. I can only assume it’s a one person joiner… fine, no problem with this but stop taking people’s money when you can’t fulfil a lead time and have some common decency to be honest with people. That is what will ruin your business.

It’s not worth the wait.

I wish I had seen this page before I placed my order. 16 weeks on and still no shelf. I was told it was out for delivery 4 weeks ago. Then I chased up after 2 weeks and I was told it would be sent at the end of the week, I then had an email saying it was out for delivery with Parcelforce on a 48 hour service. Still no sign of it after a week and parcelforce have said they haven’t got it. They are clearly using delay tactics and fobbing off. What a dishonest and underhand way to run a business. I cannot believe they are still taking orders on their website. Clearly they are very good at the marketing side but that’s all. You can’t even comment on their Instagram page, which says it all really. I will be reporting this cowboy outfit to their local trading standards and will be directing them to this page. I suggest others do the same. I had an email saying I had been issued a refund but I will believe that when I see it.

My order took 3 months to arrive, with no update communication. Item finally arrived cracked and no response from Miles. Had to resort to raising a PayPal case to receive a refund.

I wish I had see these reviews before-I also ordered a table that I have not yet received and I am getting no response to my emails -SCANDALOUS

Still waiting since January for a small pantry sign gave contacted them twice without a reply, how can a company advertise on social media and get away with this. I am just one of many …

Same as other customers - still haven't received our console table and they're not responding to any of our emails.

I would strongly advise against ordering from Beaufort & Dunham. I ordered three simple small shelves in October 2023 and waited six months for them to be made and delivered. After I received the dispatch confirmation, it took another three weeks for the items to be picked up by Parcelforce.

Multiple emails went unanswered and the company’s attitude towards communication is disrespectful to their customers: ‘If you are unable to be patient, please don't order anything. If you are going to require constant updates, please don't order anything’.

The shelves are ok, but the fixings do not allow them to sit flush to the wall and the pre drilled holes are not even. I would not say they are worth the price paid or the time spent waiting for them.

I placed an order in early January. I didn’t receive the item in the forecasted dispatch period. I contacted the company by email several times and on social media with no response.
Then at the end of February I got a reply saying it would be dispatched that week. It never came, and I never had any more replies.
I had to open a chargeback and after 7wks from that date my money was recovered.
I would not recommend this company at all.
I recommend you read the other reviews, I’m not alone!

I wish I had read these reviews before ordering… the reviews have gone from bad to worse. I have also just requested a refund via PayPal.

I recently purchased a console with the expectation of an 8 to 12-week lead time as advertised. Unfortunately, the process extended beyond 16 weeks, requiring multiple follow-ups. Upon receipt, the product’s quality did not meet expectations, with some room for improvement. If they are going to make you wait for it, the products should be impeccable. One positive: they know how to package well however.

My attempts to communicate via email and Instagram were challenging, and persistence was key to receiving a response from Miles. I believe they should put greater focus on customer service and product quality, rather than social media marketing.

Additionally, I’ve noticed that negative feedback on Instagram are removed. I feel it’s important for all customer opinions to be visible, as they can provide valuable insights for potential customers (and potentially the company’s owner!).

I would simply suggest future customers to avoid, it is not worth the follow up efforts & money.

I’ve filed a refund claim with PayPal. I bought an item off the discontinued/clearance section of the website, so you would assume it’s ready to go and can be dispatched? A few weeks later, noting received and no reply to emails. It’s a scam.

It’s all well and good having an Instagram page that drives people to your site through marketing channels but they simply can’t cope with the volume of orders. Placed my order early October 2023 and only today (24th Feb) have I had a refund of which I had to raise a claim with PayPal. I’ve read people having zero communication from the owner (Miles) but he did reply to me on a few occasions and did keep me up to date with my order. The console table arrived but unfortunately it was not suitable the quality of the product was poor it reminded me of a design technology GCSE practical exam I had in the late 90’s! I returned said item to Miles and he confirmed he’d received it, signed for by Mr Fone! (Original). I received an email to say I’ll have my refund shortly but I didn’t trust him given the numerous other reviews left on here and went ahead with a claim with PayPal something I wish I’d done earlier in the process. Strangely Miles has now blocked me from his Instagram page where nobody can leave comments on products anyway, maybe less time on Instagram and more time replying to customers.

Overall nearly 5 months this company has had my money!

Employ more people or hold off new orders until you know you can fulfil the ones you’ve got….

I ordered a radiator console table on 8th October, spending £304.40 in the process.

At the time of ordering the lead time was stated as approximately 8 weeks, however, as of today I am yet to receive my order and my countless emails, texts and phone calls have gone unanswered. I have now lost all confidence in ever recieving my order and have raised a dispute via PayPal.

Communication and customer service severely lacking.

I still haven’t received my order from Beaufort & Dunham. I’ve emailed countless times and messaged on instagram and they haven’t had the courtesy to respond. I ordered my console in August, it’s been 6 months!! Miles emailed me before Christmas to said he had long covid and would send my console (which I have paid for in full) straight after the new year. I am sympathetic but as someone who runs their own business, customers are king and you need to communicate. I’ve heard nothing since. He doesn’t even bother to get in touch. Terrible, shocking customer service. It’s reassuring to see that many people have had the same treatment and it’s not just me.

Ordered a radiator console table 21Sept. Delivery quoted as 8 weeks. After 12 weeks I emailed a couple times for an update, no response, until I posted a comment on the company Instagram page. Reply received next day saying delays due to illness. End of the year, chased again and told item was ‘nearly ready and about to be dispatched’ January, no table and no response to my email warning that I would take action. I then initiated a charge back on my credit card. Amex refunded me immediately and opened an investigation. As of today, sadly still no sign of item.
If this situation is indeed due to ill heath, that’s understandable and I’d be sympathetic. However, to not communicate until forced, nor fulfil delivery promises and treat customers with evident distain, is another matter entirely.
