We were very impressed by the young salesman in store when we visited. He was very knowledgeable about the products, but at the same time we did not feel pressurised to buy.

My in-store experience was excellent, and the staff were very helpful. It's critical to try a mattress before you buy in my opinion and Benson's is one of the few places you can that.

Awful customer service, quality assurance and logistics.
My wife & I purchased a super king size TV bed from the Northwich store on 27 Sep. I did wonder why we were the only customers in the shop for the entire time we were there; I now see why. Bensons is having logistic and quality assurance problems.
We paid cash, we didnt haggle. We were given a delivery date in mid Oct.
When the bed arrived, the packaging and bed itself was damaged. They took the bed away and gave me a new delivery date, just over a week later. They offered me a voucher ‘to buy some pillows with’ due to the inconvenience.
The new delivery date arrived and they tried to deliver the same, damaged bed, again. When the team realised the failure this time, they left the damaged bed in our bedroom, boxed, and promised to order and deliver a replacement for the damaged parts.
They then give me a new delivery date of this Tue (3 Nov), offering to waive the delivery and installation charge ‘as a gesture of goodwill’ at this point and after my wife expressed her disbelief at the incompetence.
My wife was now nervous that Bensons for Beds could fail for a third time, so she just called the customer service team this morning, to confirm everything is ok this time. It appears the 3 Nov is no longer achievable (I wonder when they were going to tell us) and it would be another 1-2 weeks.
My wife asked (and we have this recorded) how long would it take to reimburse us and collect the boxes in our bedroom, should we choose to cancel and purchase elsewhere. The customer service representative immediately cancelled the entire order.
Now, we are stuck. No bed, over £2000 out of pocket and half a dozen boxes of Bensons trash in our bedroom.
Clearly Bensons for Beds are having issues. Quality and Logistics, along with good customer service are the bedrock for any business, especially one in the market position such as Bensons. The most appalling customer service, product quality assurance and logistics.
We will not be using Bensons for Beds in future.

Very poor
Upon ordering i found bits of information not explained and consequently losing first delivery spot. After that issue I found northwith store and delivery team at northwich incredibly poor lacking customer focus/empathy hugely spoiling the experience. It felt very disjointed between areas within bensons and the employees I spoke to did not represent any sort of customer focus displaying no empathy or focus to either us as the customer or bensons as their employer

Great service
