Can only give a couple of stars, and this is for the customer service in the shop when purchasing the bed. Because, after waiting since 16/2/25' since ordering the bed, I still don't have it yet. It should have been delivered in May, but due to a delay in Malaysia where the bed comes from, it was put back until mid/end of June, so still waiting. The annoying part of this though, was the fact that no-one contacted me to inform me the bed was delayed and wasn't coming. I checked on the bensons portal/link to see if it was coming just two weeks before the delivery date and found it was delayed for a further 6 weeks. I had no word from customer service. It was a complete inconvenience as I had to delay the mattresses and as I had the bedroom decorated, I had to postpone carpets etc. So, with only 3 weeks now to go, I hope it doesn't get delayed again. I suffer with Arthritis and need an adjustable bed, I wish I had paid more and got one from a proper company.

The sales rep Jodie was very helpful pleasant and professional. We found her to be very knowledgeable and we felt very much at ease with making our final decision on buying beds and mattresses

Went looking for a new pillow and the clever sales team had the pillows demo on matching mattress! Not pressured by sales team, Asha was very friendly with good product knowledge. Easy to test products. Ended up buying the bed (with free pillows)!!

The shop assistant was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. He gave us exceptional information but also the space to make our decision.

Perfect Mattress, good price. Delivered at stated time

Unfortunately the delivery team were unable to place the order up the stairs to the room of choice due to the Tempur mattress being frozen. The mattress was left in the hall to warm. As myself and my wife are both in our seventies we did not feel able to move the mattress. We had to wait for family members to visit in the evening to move the mattress for us. It was not a pleasant experience for us.

The store was well laid out. Friendly staff. Jodie the sales consultant was very helpful and professional.

From walking into the store to taking delivery of our bed the service was exemplary.

Polite and easy service

We were seen to promptly and given open and very honest advice.

Jamie also offered a call back to address some of our outstanding questions.

Then the transaction was completed on- line without having to re visit the Lakeside Thurrock store.

We had decided on the bed and mattress and the salesman was very helpful, polite and explained everything. Excellent service

Experience in store was very good, the assistant was juggling 3 or 4 customers at one time and she made this effortless. She had a good knowledge of beds and I never felt pressured into purchasing until I was ready. I purchased the electronic ottoman with mattress & headboard.
My only gripe is I have to pay for a double bed even though I’m purchasing a small double, if you can have set prices for all other sizes then why is a small double the same price as a double? This is very mean of you.

We ordered Alexis Ottoman Upholstered Bed Frame from Lakeside store and got it delivered on time.
Being done lot of assemblies before I chose not to opt for assembly service and was very happy that they offered 5 year frame warrantee.
After assembling the bed, straight away I observed that the gas lift on one side was not opening fully and when opening or closing the base, it was tilted on one side.
Also noticed gradually that the bed was not feeling solid at all and was making lot of noises while being on the bed with slight movement.

Reported the whole experience to their customer care on 5th Oct, who came back promptly asking for videos and photos, I sent them all the information and waited patiently.
They came back with very poor reply and I am pasting it here, and basically blamed it on assembly (because I had not taken that service from them).
Since their reply I am chasing them for more details, but they seems to have closed my case and think they can get away with it.

I will never ever shop with them, and would like to warn everyone making any plans.

I am so sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with your product. I understand this can be frustrating.

The problem you are experiencing with your product does not appear to be due to a manufacturing fault. This is due to the assembly and the way the product has been taken care of, and so we are unable to take your claim forward at this time.

You may be able to make a claim against your household insurance for accidental damage and we would recommend you check your policy documents to see if you are covered.

We would advise disassembling the bed frame and reassembling following the assembly guide.

I am sorry that we have been unable to help with your guarantee claim at this time and I apologise for any inconvenience caused.
