If I could give 0* I would! I have never met such a rude and unhelpful bunch!
At first I thought it was a language barrier but it became clear that this was not the case - they are just rude, impatient and unwilling to help! STEER CLEAR

Absolutely shock to my freind over to kings Lynn after being referedd by 111 given a coarse of antibiotics and then told to return for a tooth removed. We had to go back threw 111 for an appointment but if you ring up directly they will see you as a private patient same day. Had the tooth removed 3 days later they were in agony called them back up again they kept putting the phone down when you said NHS shocking even though they removed the tooth and then finally got to see a dentist again having to go forward and backwards threw 111 and then when we got there to get antibiotics she had to go and see the dentist again more money even though she got told a prescription was ready the receptionist staff should be shot as they were pleasantly talking about my freind in front off everyone and said that the dentist was in the kitchen but she emailed her instead. Avoid this place at all cost unless you go private the waiting area is disgusting and the receptionist are un provisional and un helpfull what an absolute disgrace for a dentist you have been warned

I came with my dad to the dentist and started talking to a lovely, well spoken older lady. She looked like a cool auntie! We had been waiting for a while, then she asked the Receptionist how long will the dentist be as he had said the dentist was not late.
The receptionist was very rude to her and called her aggressive for simply asking a question. She got upset by his manner (he couldn't even speak English properly). I saw tears in her eyes and this put me right off this practice. Patients should not be treated this way, it's appalling really.

This is the for The Smile Dentist unit A Chaucer House. The receptionist was lovely and so helpful, hardly any wait as there are lots of Dentists working there. I had an Irish dentist very reassuring and gentle and the work was first class, 3 fillings and a tooth repair- would have cost £75 but I get mine for free. Definitely would recommend.

Extremely poor service. Had an a terrible time booking the appointment, got to the appointment 5 minutes late and they kept my deposit (£50) and said it was tough luck, but strangely was seeing someone else? Avoid, I used the King’s Lynn branch. Wasted that, an hours round trip and parking.. thanks smile, appreciate you.

Withheld my money, lost my personal details and consistently lied.
In November I had no choice but to book a private appointment and the same day i was due to go, they cancelled my appointment. I didn't want to rearrange so asked for me money to be refunded. I was told that I would have to go to the surgery to fill in a form to get my £125 back despite the fact that they had easily taken it online the previous day. I had no choice in the matter so I went that day. In December I called as I still hadn't received my refund, I was informed that I would be paid when they were and it would be the first week of January. Unbelievable but again, I had no choice but to wait. Long story short (slightly) I spent months back and forth trying to get my money back and being ignored or lied to until I threatened to contact Ombudsman. That's when it became clear that they had lost my form - which included my bank details- and I had to go back and fill in a new form. I finally got my refund but made a complaint to the ICO due to the GDPR incident but apparently it's not a big deal. So, don't trust them with your data as it's not seen as a big deal and they can just get away with misplacing your personal details. I was treated so disgustingly by this practise (24 High Street Slough) that I have had to find a new dental practise as they are not to be trusted here.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Money grabbing BUTCHERS OF THE MOUTH.

Over the last 5 years smile dental care slough has ruined my teeth. Yes there are a few nice faces and receptionists but the majority are lazy and cause issues between patients and dentist through lack of communication. I’d been told I couldn’t be referred to hospital for removal of teeth so waited a year for their referral to a different clinic to come through to then wait another year after the clinic said I have to go into hospital.

They also tried to remove the wrong teeth and leave people in pain with infection if they are NHS. I also met a lady whose daughter has suffered severe changes to her face due to the negligence of smile dental care slough.

I would not recommend smile dentist slough high street, if your want an NHS appointment don’t waste your time, they don’t care about these patients, my daughter was in absolute agony, call first thing in the morning 9am to be told they have no nhs emergency appointments and are fully booked until April, how do they not have appointments for nhs patients?? They are only interested in people who pay for private. Absolutely money grabbing!!

Went to Smile Dental Care in Totton after not going to the dentist in several years. Went for my consultation and the dentist was rude, very blunt and it felt like I was being rushed out the door after. Went back for a filling after my consultation, which then had to be done another 2 times because it hadn’t been done properly and I was not able to eat on the side that the filling had been done on. The 3rd time I went for this same filling, the dentist didn’t numb my mouth properly and was drilling, the drill went through a nerve and caused me to throw my head to the side to get away from the drill. She then shouted at me because I’d moved my head! I went in for another appointment (thinking the first filling just didn’t go right so I gave them another chance) this filling was in between my front teeth, she drilled and drilled and then filled the gap that she’d over drilled with a filling, fast forward a month, I noticed that my tooth was cracked in the same place she’d done the filling, my tooth has now snapped off and I’m left with a massive gap between my teeth! Will not be returning, nor will I recommend this dentist to anyone!!

I was advised to contact Smile Dental King’s Lynn yesterday by 111 due to having been assessed by the operator as having a medical emergency that required treatment within 24hrs. I couldn’t believe just how unhelpful, negative, dismissive and rude the person who answered the phone was at Smile Dental; totally uncaring! They just didn’t want to know when I explained I had undergone recent open heart surgery and that if dental health isn’t maintained it can lead to serious complications for the heart. But the ‘Smile Dental’ receptionist was too busy talking over me and clearly did not want to listen!
I did report this to 111 when I had to call again this morning in order to find a dentist to resolve my emergency. Their response was that they’d heard the same complaint from other people. So what is the NHS doing about it; absolutely nothing it would appear! I’ve worked all my life, and am still paying tax on the pensions I worked very hard to get in place to support my retirement, the earnings of which were also taxed; the government takes two bites of the cherry! But apparently that makes me invisible and not worthy of one request for help from NHS dentistry in twelve years, I’ve had to pay through the nose for private dental care during that time! Thanks Smile Dentistry, King’s Lynn!
Fortunately my second call to 111 today resulted in a very positive outcome from Damira Dental who have really nice, helpful, kind staff, who do listen and who do care.

was lovely and I highly recommend saba if you are a nervious or anxiety person. she is very easy going and really a fantastic dentist. 5 stars for saba!!!!!!!

I have not been able to afford a dentist for years, I was very happy when I managed to get taken on as an NHS patient at the smile clinic in Totton Hampshire. The post code that was given me I have run through both my sat nav And A A route Finder recognised as this post code you to another Rd which is not Salisbury Rd where the dental practise is. So inevitably I was late, and then went in to see the dentist who then refused to see. They do not make new patients aware that the post code is not correct for this dental practise and I cannot believe that I am the first person this happened to. Ask the receptionist go up I noticed she was wearing clothes that were not very professional. She looked like she had leggings on trainers and thick socks she looked like she was going to a roller disco. This would not be acceptable the nhs or any other professional environment on reading the other reviews for this dentist I feel that I had a very lucky escape as the reviews are terrible for this dentist group. That they cancel NHS appointments at the last minute, possible for more lucrative private patients, How sad is this in 2024 that this is happening to people in a basic service like a dentist. Reputation is everything

New receptionist is a downgrade, her unhelpfulness and attitude is going to knock their reputation. The dentists are lovely and the young receptionist before was amazing,

Came in to see the Dental for some new trays to improve my smile and this practice was amazing.
Friendly and warm greeting and very knowledgeable dentist.

Dr. Barden at Tonbridge branch has been nothing but professional. my first encounter was for an emergency extraction which went very well, my nerves were dealt with and information freely given. I'm happy to book regular check ups with him in future.

If I could give no stars I would. I have had same dental problem for over a year I have had numerous visits to sort, yet the problem hasn't been sorted, I remain in pain with NO RESOLVE! I emailed the practice, and have had no response !

Avoid!!!!!
Please avoid this company, had regular check ups every 6 months over the last 4 years after moving to Dorset, check up before last was not carried out by a “proper” dentist, last appt. in Nov. ended up with me being quoted £3.5k for work that needed doing, nothing spotted apparently over the last 8 visits!! Paid £100 deposit for work to commence, got a 2nd opinion and work is now being done for £2.5k, they couldn’t refund my deposit by card, told it would be returned on Jan 2nd, yet another lie, they said they couldn’t refund a credit card payment and I have only today had my funds returned meaning they had my money along with I expect hundreds of other clients for over 2 months, gaining interest for free, PLEASE, PLEASE AVOID!!!!

Smile dental in Stepney Green Harford st is one of the worst NHS dentists in Tower Hamlets they're robbing the government money it's a definitely a cover up because never treat anyone really i had the worst experience ever staff don't know how to speak English or understand it was really upsetting I've suffered so much and still can't find a real NHS dentist appointment its be years

NHS - Service cancelled without any notice or contact, smile dental care has no respect for nhs dental patients - they have deleted me without any notice or discussion, i was miss -informed by the admin staff that i had not attended for 2 years , this gave them the right to take me off of there patients list, this was not accurate as i did actually have evidence that i had had appointments during this time -i wrote to the manager who did not apologise -the manager gave an excuse to say they did nt have to honour nhs patients so removed 100s of patients without contacting them. i am disgusted as to there attitude towards NHS provision.
