Delicious meals: we eat them probably once a week.

Recently tasted the Chicken Jalfrezi & Pilau Rice dish. The flavours were amazing - it was so tasty. It felt like I was eating freshly cooked, authentically made Indian food.
Iâm won over. I shall never buy the cheap, mass produced and highly processed cheaper versions ever again.

Chicken Jalfrezi Absolutely lovely. Youâre so wrong on your cooking details. Not suitable for air frying you say. Totally disagree. Chicken Jalfezi in air fryer for 19 mins. Rice in microwave for 3 mins. Youâre totally missing the point of a meal that can serve 1 or 2 people quickly. Majority or people have air fryers these days. Iâve done cottage pie, fish pie, your curries and all have been amazing in an air fryer. No need to turn on the big oven

I bought two different meals, a chicken jalfreze and Thai green curry, for 2 people. while the sauce tasted nice. Sadly the chicken in them wasn't even enough for one. There was a Ridiculously small amount of chicken about a goujon and that's meant to do 2 people! Ridiculous. They charge more than the average so I thought I would be getting something better than Iceland. I've just read the label and it states 19% chicken. So divided by 2 that's 9.5% each. My 7 yr old eats more chicken than that. Is that how little you would eat in a meal Charlie?

Chicken tikka masala was a nice taste but not great overall. Not sure how you can justify the price bearing in mind I had the oven on for 30 minutes to cook it and portions were not very big. The chicken was soft and not generally a lot of texture to it. I can buy a good quality cooked ( no cooking by me) meal for about double the price from a local takeaway but the portions will be at least twice as big and feed two. May be Iâm a grumpy old man and not your regular customers . Anyway you may take on board what Iâve said and best of luck.
Use by date was 22 Dec. Batch I0F

Just had the macaroni cheese for one. I cook from scratch daily so to find I can have day off is great. Great food. No nasties - thoroughly delish

I sent CB a suggestion regarding their meal and I immediately got a positive reply. What a refreshing change that they take on board customer suggestions and hopefully act on it. We enjoy their meals and based on what a takeaway would cost, they are reasonably good value given the quality. We've had quite a few chicken dishes and always found the chicken tender. Although they recommend oven to reheat, I use my air fryer on the 'bake' function. I usually add a couple of Bhajis (GF) as an extra perhaps this is something Charlie could offer?

Tried the Butter Chicken Curry after reading good reviews but we were very disappointed. It was very bland and the sauce quite sickly. The chicken seemed like it had been boiled as it was very sloppy.
The only good part was the rice. Definitely will not buy it again.

Just had my first Charlie Bigham's meal - Thai Green Curry. Delicious, tender chicken, really enjoyed it, and will certainly try others. Thank you for your wholesome ingredients.

I only buy Charlie Bigham meals when they are o offer, which they regularly are. At nearly £10 for two they are vastly overpriced. I used to like the cottage pie, fish pie, lasagne a lot, but feel that quality and care have been going down recently. I hve just tried the "new" Thai Panang curry - and it is awful - bland and oozing bad quality. Sad to see how company's commitment to quality seems to be turning into a strategy for brand marketing and profit maximisation.

I honestly can't understand the negative reviews. I've tried several of the meals available and I've absolutely loved them all. The size is perfect for one person who's eating a sensible meal size.
For a couple of options each week for those lazier days, these are fantastic value and the flavours are ð€
No supermarket versions will survive with these on the shelf next door.

Had the fish pie , just a punnet of mashed potato, very small pieces of salmon, very little else, far to much salt content and as for feeding 2 adults, ridiculous.
Will not be buying this again

Charlie Bigham's ããã®åç
The meals are tasty, but tiny, more like a starter portion. So for the money not worth it.

Charlie Bigham's ããã®åç
Charlie Bigham's or Charlie Small-ham's?! How dare they charge £6.99 for "Red Peppers with Romesco", which turned out to be some sloppy red peppers with a scattering of crumb & a few almonds? Their dishes are SMALL & EXPENSIVE!
And does "Charlie" really exist or is he a fake marketing personality?

Bought a Charlie Bingham paella the worst I have ever tasted very tomartery no safron included awful obviously hes never had a real paella

Its a real shame, I used to LOVE any Charlie Bigham meal, but they've all gone pear-shaped and nowhere near as nice as when 1st started - meaning, they're probs now massed produced, therefore, lost that lovely home-cooked taste.
Plus, huge price increases- I'll probably stop buying these in future, what a shame, was my "go-to" for a tasty quick dinner!ð€ð- honestly just gave my fish pie to the cat! Whereas I used to love itð€

My wife and I had a chicken tika massala and was very disappointed with it we have tried the fish pie and that was very nice

Charlie Bigham's ããã®åç
I can make a better fish pie than a Charlie Bingham £8 fish pie made 'in my own kitchen' . More pie than fish and no sauce. Same for the Shepherds Pie.

Charlie Bigham's ããã®åç
The Paella was delicious. Serves 2 big appetites. We actually got 3 servings out of it (but had, had a big lunch earlier).
The paella has a real depth of flavour. I've bought supermarket own brands before but this was better. Will definitely buy again.

I chose Chicken Tikka Massala for 2.
It was my first and last time.
Those little wooden boxes work out very expensive because they are practically empty.
Thin watery sauce over 5 or 6 tiny pieces of chicken the size of the top of my thumb and a box of rice.
Chicken Tikka Massala for 2?
Ha ha. 2 mice perhaps
