Arrived 10 mins before my appointment, another person was already there having waited 20 mins for his now late appointment, eventually the ‘audiologist’ turned up, went in to take her coat off etc saying “I’ll be 2 mins” finally came out, by now there was another patient, seemed to be problem with wrong appointment times etc so I called it ‘a day’ and left, sorry Boots but you need to improve this service in Barnsley

Boots Hearing Barnsley; would have got 5 stars but for the incessant stream of texts reminding me of an appointment I made to suit my personal circumstances.
I spoke with 2 experts whilst I was getting set up for the actual test and both were kind, observant and listened to my hearing difficulties before offering me a selection of methods to return my loss of hearing to a functional level.
So, Boots, read my words. Don't sit there patting yourself on the back. You are not perfect.

Brooke was so helpful and explained everything from the start to finish. All the different rangers test's you have covers everything. The test's you get through NHS is not half as good.

The experience was first class but the review organisation is third class as I have already completed this once.

The Boots Audiologist, Brooke Saddington, was friendly, professional and efficient. She provided reassurance and answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend the service

The lady I saw was well informed and answered all my questions. She was very polite and helped me choose a suitable hearing aid.

Dealt with professionaly & personally by martin roberts in barnsley no salesmanship told me what i needed in hearing aids which are brilliant (phonak audeo lumity) showed me how to care for them thankyou for the service

All ok audiologist good she explained everything now awaiting my aids.

Brooke was friendly, helpful and really helped make me feel at ease. I was totally impressed by the difference it made to me considering it was the first time I had been for a hearing test so didn’t know what to expect. Still getting used to them but I have no doubt with Brooks support I’ll feel confident joining in conversations which I’ve not been able to do for a long time due to feeling embarrassed about asking them to repeat as I couldn’t hear what they were saying. A big Thankyou Brook x

the lady I saw was very thorough, was very clear and I thought the technology very up to date .
I am hoping that when I get my hearing aid I have the same experience.

Good advice after a thourgh hearing test, helpful and comprehensive walk through of all options that would help to improve my hearing.

A very pleasant young lady, Brooke, was patient and understanding, who treated me as a person, and listened to my fears and wants. She did her best to accommodate my personal circumstances to my satisfaction. Only thing I did not appreciate was the waiting area, surrounded by the shops shelving detritus. Obviously their rubbish storage is not adequate outside the store.

The lady is deal g with my concerns promptly. She is very helpful
